Tom Brown's Restaurant - Madison

Absolutely marvelous dining experience from top to bottom! The service was stellar, food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were divine. I was with a larger business group, and it was handled with ease and everything flowed nicely.

Our food and server, Amy, was freaking AMAZING! She came to our table before we even needed anything, throughout our entire meal! She was a delight, super attentive, and added an even greater dining experience. I had the Tom Brown Sample (special menu item) with a loaded baked potato, pork belly as an appetizer, and a side salad. This was one of the best experiences, service and food, I've had recently. I would highly recommend this restaurant and server!

Came out for a celebration dinner with one of my favorite people we had a wonderful experience. Had some raw oysters, seared Ahi Tuna for starters then had Wagyu steak with a baked potato while my cousin had the Elk tenderloin. Everything tasted wonderful, we enjoyed absolutely everything!

First time at Tom Brown’s, we had reservations for our anniversary and we were seated immediately. Camilla was our waitress and she is amazing. Great service really makes a difference in a dining experience. I ordered a mocktail which was yummy, we got the firecracker shrimp as an appetizer and warm rolls. We also got the baked oysters which were so delicious. For entrees I got the chargrilled chicken but it was too salty and a little dry which is why I gave the food 4 stars so I don’t know if I would try again. My husband ordered the ribeye and it was absolutely delicious even the baked potatoes were above average. As a very sweet treat they surprised us with a slice of cheesecake to share💕
This restaurant really has some very nice little touches that makes the experience even better the togo boxes come with a specialty Tom Brown tote bag so cute. We will definitely visit again and you should too.

Yum!! Tom Brown’s is a really nice restaurant! My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here for Valentine’s Day, and we had a great time! Our reservation was for 6pm, but we were sat at 6:45 due to the long list of reservations. (This was the only not great thing)
But, once we got to our table, we were waited on by Amy and she was great! Very sweet, professional, and had great recommendations. The mean green eggrolls are amazing! They had the perfect BBQ flavor!
Our entrees and drinks were perfect! Overall, a great dining experience, I just wish the reservation times were more accurate… 9/10

Came on a Monday night and had fantastic service from Camilla! Started with lemon lavender drop and Tom brown ale, and tried app Mean green egg roll (BBQ meets Asian!) Wow all great new flavors. Go-to-main Filet cooked medium did not disappoint. Will be back just for desserts.

Really enjoyed Tom Brown’s for a date night with the hubby. I would definitely recommend them. The food was VERY good. The atmosphere was very good. Was better than many restaurants. A hit. We had the Barracunda fish and my husband had the salmon. But they have a wide variety of menu items including steaks. Can’t go wrong

This was the best dining experience we have had in a while! The food was amazing, from the appetizer to the dessert. We started with the Mean Green Egg rolls. I personally didn't eat them but my husband LOVED them. We ordered the 16oz Ribeye and the Jumbo fried shrimp. Both were great. I did have to send the steak back to be cooked at my requested temperature but ever after that, it was perfect. I wanted the steak well done and even after sending it back, it was still tender and it literally could be cut with a butter knife. My husband loved the collard greens so much that we ordered another serving. The Beached Can drink was really good if you into fruity drinks. And the Chocolate Chip cookie skillet was so delicious. This dining experience made our anniversary even better. We will definitely visit here again very soon.

Brooklyn and Jenny took great care of us and were both courteous and kind. We ordered the Gold Margaritas which were outstanding on a 100 degree day! We each ordered soup, I had the Shrimp, crab, and corn soup which was well seasoned and delicious. My husband had the French onion soup which he enjoyed. I ordered the Wahoo with Asparagus and it was cooked perfectly. My husband had the Chilean Sea Bass and said it was great. We will come back.

This place is by far the best restaurant I have been to in Madisin county. It was 6 of us. They have phenomenal food and service. The bartenders Nathaniel and Courtney were friendly, fun, talked & laughed with us and they were good at they do. Hope they will be there when we come back. Our drinks were amazing. Try the Old Smoky Joe & the Lavender Lemon Drop. They also schooled us on some their favorites. The staff & manager were accommodating even after we changed the number of persons then decided to eat at the bar. We tried pretty much every appetizers that was on the menu & Tom Brown’s didn’t disappoint us! Everything was delicious. See all our pics. Try the alligator & porky belly. Definitely going back. I didn’t get pics of our desserts but all were great! Blueberry cheesecake, Strawberry cake, Turtle cheesecake & some chocolate cake.

Enjoyed my birthday dinner! We got the escargot and a cup of lobster bisque for an appetizer. My husband got the New Zealand elk and I got the sea bass. Both were A+
We also enjoyed our drinks and the caramel cake and cheesecake for dessert! We live out of town, but will definitely go back when we visit again! Our waiter Justin was wonderful!

My husband and I visited for the first time tonight for our anniversary. The decor was pretty neat and the space felt very big and well lit. Our server was wonderful and the food was delicious. I LOVED the crab cakes..some of the best I have had. We also got complimentary champagne due to it being our anniversary which was really nice. My filet was cooked perfectly and I loved the herb butter. We shared the blueberry white chocolate cheesecake and it was very good and pretty light for a cheesecake. It was a great experience and we will definitely return.

Excellent food and the service is phenomenal. We’ve eaten here many times and every single time it’s a great experience. I highly recommend the elk if available as well as the scallops. Our favorite drinks are the smoked old fashion and the lemon lavender martini. GET THE SPECIAL TOM OYSTERS! you won’t regret it!

First time visiting but it definitely won't be the last.

I recently had a small business meeting over dinner at Tom Brown's of Madison; it was excellent from start to finish. Easily one of the best overall dining establishments in the Madison area if you are looking for something nice.

I had the Ribeye steak (medium), grilled asparagus on the side, a side salad and the molten lava cake for dessert. It was all amazing and I just want to go back & try more of the menu. I talked myself out of the Tomahawk steak tonight since it alone was about $120, but they look so good! I'll probably have that or the bison next trip, and alligator for an appetizer. 😋🥩

Went to celebrate our anniversary and husband's birthday. Food was great.. my shrimp and grits came out cold but they brought me another one and it was hot. Staff was courteous and friendly, establishment was clean. We got complimentary champagne for our anniversary and my husband got a birthday cheesecake. Will definitely come again.

Hi Everyone you have got to visit Tom Brown restaurant. I can’t go one week before I absolutely have to dine there. The moment I arrive the greeting is the most important part of my experience at this restaurant. Once I arrived there I was greeted by Grace with her welcoming smile. She also directed me to be seated with my nephew. We were celebrating my nephew’s birthday. Jacinda was our waitress. We have tried almost everything on the menu. I can’t leave the restaurant without my ribeye steak and dessert. The Chessaberry dessert. Tom Brown’s speciality dessert. You must try it when you come to dine there. The entire staff recognize us when we come in. The place is amazing!!!!!! I absolutely love Tom Brown Restaurant. Ashley and Tom we love you and your Staff!

Wife and I had a fantastic date night. Decor is very nice and cool. Our waitress was awesome, gave us explanations of everything and as my wife said “made us feel like we were her only table” dispite a packed Friday night crowd.

We ordered escargot, oysters (Huge ones!), Caesar salad, strip steak, king salmon special flown in from Hawaii and a desert cake that had banana bread in it. Also had the rum old fashion was very good.

Everything was delicious including the baked potatoes that come. We also got the Brussels with pork belly and sooo good.

We are already planning on coming back in two weeks with family in town to celebrate my parents anniversary. Driving from Hampton Cove, looking forward to the South Huntsville location opening.

We celebrated our anniversary here. Crab claws were plentiful. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. Lobster tails were large and tasty. Mixed drinks were adequate and the wine was satisfactory. The wait staff were pleasant, friendly and knew their stuff. Our server had quick answers to all our questions. Pricey? YES! Worth it? DEFINITELY

Each time we visit Tom Brown's we have the best dining experience. The food is amazing and the staff goes above and beyond every single time! Justin - thank you for the recommendations and great service! We enjoyed dining with you tonight!
