I absolutely love this updated playground. It hits all of the "must-haves" for parents and kids!

For parents:

Handicap friendly bathrooms with changing stations

Accessible playground areas (ramps, swings, wheel chair swing)
Close parking lot
Shading umbrellas
Trash cans
Picnic areas

And for the kids ... This playground offers a fun and exciting environment with safe, but challenging activities for all ages! For infants and young toddlers there are swings, parent/child swings, and a gentle see-saw. For older toddlers there is a small playground with a tunnel and slide, a bouncy jeep, ramps, and lower climbing structures. For preschool age + there are rock climbing walls, slides, swings, climbing structures, a merry-go-round, balancing stepping stones, zip lines, monkey bars, climbing nets, and more! There is also a sensory area where you can learn and listen to different sounds.

I love that the location is quiet and peaceful. This playground is a great addition to the town of Madison!

Visiting from out of town. Park was fantastic! It's large with slides, swings, and climbing options. Appears well kept. Has 4 bathroom stalls. Super busy on a gorgeous afternoon!

A wonderful, updated, clean playground for kids of all ages up to about tween. It has a toddler structure, two zip lines (one with a strap-in seat for littles), and decent sized climbing structures (though not huge). Also, a gated fence enclosed the whole playground, including some good bathrooms.

My first visit to this place with my family. It is a nice and enjoyable place for everyone. The place is completely new. It has recently been opened. It is a suitable place for everyone.

Amazing place for kids of all ages. Lots of parking. Clean kids friendly restrooms. Shaded yet bright and cozy all in one. Lots of seating for parents/ caregivers. Safe. Walking trail nearby. Grassy areas to play nearby. So many things to do nearby the Kingdom area. Please NO PETS. There are signs posted but they are small so I think some folks just don't know.

Best park ever! I love the History, it has so many options for people of all ages. Great mix of nature, shade, serenity and activities. Very clean and well maintained, lots of parking. Drive, and keep on driving till you seem to dead end and you will be at the kids park. Will most definitely be back.

This place is awesome for both the parents and kids. My child loves it!!! I wonder if I would be allowed to bring food and refreshments to the sitting areas to have a child’s birthday there?

Stopped here on our way to Florida to let my kids run around. They loved the playground! It's interactive and clean. Highly recommend this playground!

This park is great! The Kid’s Kingdom area is really well maintained. Restrooms are open and clean enough. It’s also great how the whole area is surrounded by fencing so really only one entrance and exit so easy to keep track of your kiddos. Highly recommend!

This is a great playground. There are lots of activities for kids of various ages and it is all fenced in so they can run freely.

Best public playground I think I've ever been to

The kids always enjoy coming here. Other kids play well and parents actually watch and or play with kids. Always our go to for a playground day.

This was our first time here and now I see why it's called kids kingdom. This is a great park! My kids are having a blast!

Today was our first time here and my children absolutely loved it! We will definitely be back again soon. The bathrooms were open which is fantastic when you have little ones! There was shade and there are picnic tables in the playground area and close by. You could easily spend the day here. Great job Madison for providing a great area especially for the 24 he surveillance.

This is our favorite park in Madison. Besides the interesting, playful decor there's also restrooms available, shady spots to sit in and only one entrance in and out so you don't have to worry as much about your kids wandering off.

Went to this park for years as a kid myself, so it's really great to be able to bring my son as well.

My boys loved this play ground. The parking lot looks down on the play ground and that worked out because one couldn't wake from his nap but I was still able to see my other boys on the playground. I was worried it was going to be super crowded because of the soccer games going on but the playground is far enough back that you don't get people from the soccer fields.We will definitely go again.
