Veritas Church | Cedar Rapids

Fantastic. Great worship time. Awesome message. Doctrinally sound. Highly recommend this church. My wife and i love it here. People we don't know _actually_ talk to us.

I love this church. I have been going here a few years now, it's just an extremely real place to come as you are and learn more about the gospel truth. The staff are well educated and very kind people. My children also attend the Sunday services for kids and they always leave with a smile and new knowledge about Jesus. Veritas is the real deal. The raw emotion displayed from the people here is beautiful and heartwarming. My family and I feel comfortable here, and we aren't very stylish or sociable people 😄 We are kind of shy but we always feel welcome here. If you're looking for a church that has a selfless goal to teach the gospel and bring God's people closer to Him, this is the church. Lots of laughs, too! The pastor is very funny and gets down to the important stuff but in an easily understandable way.

Fantastic church! The atmosphere is so welcoming I feel the presence of the Lord when I walk in. The worship is wonderful, and the Pastors and their messages are truly heartfelt and valuable and from the word of God!!

After searching for a new church to call home, I knew this was the right place after I heard my first sermon here. Such a Christ-centered church that makes sure they preach the Bible in every single sermon. Their theology is great and they are not afraid to preach on the harder subjects. The sermons are always convicting and help me to grow spiritually.

Growing up methodist and then spending 20 years catholic, this was a breath of fresh air. My daughters love the youth group! They help with the child program it is so great. The music is amazing. The pastors are down to earth people and help bring the Bible to your life today. The church has such a great atmosphere I have not had before. If your looking to change where or how you worship come to Veritas it has changed my daughters and I very much!

God centered, Christ commissioned, and Holy Spirit filled!! If you have been looking for a spiritual home or refuge from life's hectic storms, this is the place. If you are looking for place to connect and grow in a REAL Christian community, this is the place. If you are tired of sin and its constant consequences, THIS IS THE PLACE. There are no perfect people here - just sinners saved by God's amazing Grace, and hungry to reach and teach others about Him! Friendly and God centered family. The sermons are clear and concise. The worship is awesome; the team is talented and the music has a great variety. Veritas focuses on having meaningful connections with others both within the church and outside as well. There are many opportunities there to help us accomplish this. It's a large congregation so there are 3 services offered. It's nice because it can usually fit into your busyness 😊 I'm very happy being a part of the family at Veritas Church Cedar Rapids.

Really enjoyed the church the last 3 months. Sundays they go through a whole book in the Bible (generally). They have a kids program from the Bible Project, no VBA, no women studies. But what they do do they do very well. Sundays, I'm signing up for small group and you have to take a class to be prepared. I've felt very seen.

Veritas, a Christ-like community that is being powerfully used by God to transform and impact lives - including mine! The leadership blessed me and challenged me to live faithfully for Jesus daily. Way to GO👌🏾

This church is a wonderful place to worship and praise our Lord and Savior and to be reminded of His love for the lost and who need a Savior. The messages are straight from God's Holy Word made clear though one of the gifted Pastors. Most people attending are friendly and eager to worship corporately. God is transforming hearts in this place to love Him more and to love others.

I highly recommend Veritas Church Cedar Rapids mainly because of thier high quality of worship music. I believe that they have a good message but really need to consider having a come to Jesus at the end of each service where they would have everyone close there eyes ask everyone who was compelled to repent and realign themselves with the Lord. Would be the single greatest church in eastern Iowa if they did so. Love you guys keep up the great work!!

Great church. Authentic leaders, great community feel. For being a larger church, it is very easy to get plugged in to a group of 'your' people. Wonderful music, great staff. Children programs are fantastic too!

This is my home church and the Holy Spirit moves in a special way here. The children's ministry is awesome and the pastors never shy away from speaking Biblical truth. The worship music always relates to the message and is an uplifting way to get ready for the message.

The first day I attended I felt the Holy Spirit & now~ everytime~ even when I just drive in the parking lot.😉 The beauty of it is~ I take the awesome feeling of the Holy Spirit with me throughout my week as well.

We love Veritas in Cedar Rapids. My brother and his family attend here. Whenever we visit from Missouri, we go here with them and enjoy it every time. Strong doctrine, great music, friendly people, great facility...always enjoyable.
