Madison Baptist Church

Absolutely wonderful church. The pastor loves his people and truly has a heart for reaching others through the power of Christ, the old fashioned, Great Commission way.

Very thankful for Madison Baptist Church! My family and I have grown so much spiritually since moving to Alabama in 2016 under the preaching of Pastor Allison. It is an old fashioned, Bible preaching church that loves our community and seeks to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If your in the area or passing through come on out and join us!

This church is a church where Truth and Love meet. The WORD of God is preached and the love of God is displayed through Christian fellowship and prayer. The focus is on the Gospel and the Peace that is found only through Christ. Eternity is answered with a know so salvation! Love this Church!

If I lived in the Madison area I would definitely attend this church. I love going here when I visit my son and his family. The preaching is simple yet sound in doctrine. They are concerned about raising up the next generation of soul winners for the glory of Christ. If you are looking to be entertained or coddled, this may not be the church for you, but if you are interested in being a good soldier of the cross you will love this church. I know we do!

Sound Doctrine that is missing in so many churches today. There is no compromise on standards; whether you agree or disagree with a particular subject/topic/etc., use God's Word (the KJV Bible) to be the final authority.

This is the BEST church I have ever attended and we feel the love from the congregation. Pastor Allison has remained true to God's Holy Word in his preaching the Bible. Pastor Allison wrote a book in 1984 that is just as relevant in 2018.

I went to this church a few times in the mid to late 80's. I will never forget the power and authority that the Holy Spirit gave to Pastor Allison to preach the way he does. He does not sugarcoat anything....he's no Joel Osteen. They have moved locations since i attended and when i came back to Huntsville to visit my folks i thought the church had folded but then i saw a commercial with Pastor Allison and i looked him up and found the new location of the church. I have not attended the church in many years but have listened to his sermons that are on his churches website and he has not lost his hard style of preaching one bit. I love it!!!! If you want to hear biblical truth from the bible this is a great church to go to.

This church stands for the truth of Gods word! The people love souls and are big on missions. The preaching is always hot and convicting (Pastor Allison is a great man of God who has outstanding gift to preach and teach Gods word.) If you are someone who has a sincere desire to hear the Bile preached uncompromisingly this is the place for you.

The Pastor is on fire and a true man of God. The preaching is spirit filled and biblical; the music is right and prepares your heart for the message. I praise God for giving me the privilege to have attended Madison Baptist Church.

Great church! Not sure about the negative comments. Notice that there are no specifics, just accusations. Beware of baseless accusations!

No church is perfect, including MDC (it has people, and people aren't perfect), but if you're looking for a church where you can learn about God in a setting designed for worship, you'll fit right in.

Oh, and no, I'm not a member there and I wasn't asked by anyone at the church to give this review. My comments come from my own experience while visiting.

A solid, doctrinally sound KJV fundamental Bible-believing, Bible-preaching Independent Baptist Church. Traditional hymns and godly special music. Spanish service. Praise the Lord for Pastor Mike Allison's faithful stand on the Word of God!

Awesome Church! The pastor preaches the Bible. It’s KJV only and old fashioned. The people here are kind and very friendly.

Love this church. I have been a member there for 16 years now. Preaching is sound doctrine and full of love. Salvation is through the grace of God. As for the preaching on Sunday April 3rd, I am sorry you, as a visitor, had to hear that message. The preaching was not aimed at the brother in Christ like you thought, it was to those busy bodies that like to spread gossip. Pastor Allison was correct in holding it off for a bit so we have a right as a church to get right with God. The Lord's supper is not something to be taking lightly. Some Corinthians died when they took of the Lord's supper unworthily. Pastor was watching for his flock at the time.
Yes we are free from the law as far as Salvation is concerned however we are still to obey God to have a close walk with Him. God tells us that if we love Him we will obey Him. As for women wearing slacks, we do not stand at the door telling anyone they can't come in because they are wearing pants. However in the new testament it tells women they are to be adorned in modest apparel. It says women are not to wear that which pertaineth to a man. Pants used to be called Britches. The men wore linen britches in the Bible times. Therefore, pants pertain to men not women. Women didn't wear pants until World war 2, when women went to work to help out.
Yes we use the KJV of the Bible. It was the one that was transcribed from the original text. It has no flaws it is God's word for the english language.
I am sorry that you had a bad experience coming to our church. I support my church and my pastor.
Just a side note though, let's say you have a child and that child is fixing to run into the street. You see the car coming your child does not. Do you not warn that child by yelling "GET OUT OF THE ROAD"? Of course you do. Why? Don't you love that child? Yes you do. You tell your children and punish your child because you love them and you know the dangers that lie ahead. That is what a overseer does. God gave us at MBC pastor Allison and he is our overseer for our spiritual well being. He is to correct us when we are doing wrong.
As far as the brother you were talking about, we as a church are praying for him and his family.

Madison Baptist Church has sound, uncompromising preaching from the KJV Bible. If you are looking for a Church with a hot pulpit that preaches against sin and for Holy living this is a great church to join.

Can't think of a better place to worship and learn about God. Wonderful church with a wonderful pastor and people. Love that they have children's church and are very helpful and loving.
