Cannot say enough good things about Big Jim's! So many shops these days refuse to work on vehicles that are modified or that you worked on yourself. All my vehicles are modified and I work on them myself, so it can be quite a challenge to find shops willing to help when something is beyond my capabilities. No longer is that a concern. Andy had no qualms working on our lifted 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and in fact as part of the repairs he sorted out some issues we'd been having since the lift was installed years ago. Pricing is incredibly reasonable, staff is friendly and impressively competent. So so happy to have found Big Jims and we're lifelong customers from now on. 10/10 would recommend.

I would highly recommend Big Jim's to anyone that needs work on their vehicle. I have had my car serviced a couple times at their shop now. Andy and Sarah are fantastic to work with. They take the time to explain everything and are honest people to work with. I won't take my car to any other shop in town.

They did a fantastic job on our truck in a very timely manner! Transmission went out on our 2017 chevy. He quoted us $8,000 and then quoted us $5,300 and had it done in 2 days. We really appreciated that they had a loaner vehicle we could use instead of having to rent a vehicle. I would definitely (praying I don't have to) go back there for service again. This is a very trustworthy and transparent mechanic. They have been very open and honest about work that needs to be done right away and the work that can be put off until later.

Their systems are also very simple and easy to use for booking and reviewing vehicle inspections and approving or denying that work that is listed.

They are also very quick to respond via text message or phone call.

I love Andy and his employees. Front Sarah, the front desk gal to his techs, I know I’m in good hands. Other places have tried to take advantage of me. Jiffy Lube told me I needed new brakes. That was 5 years ago. Then Discount Tires told me I needed to replace the sensors in my tires. Both times I took my car to Andy. Those other places lied to me. Andy and his team checked my car over and there was nothing wrong with my sensors or my brakes. This shop is extremely honest, upfront and professional! I will never take my car to another shop!

Andy was fantastic if I could have kept my car there and have them do all the work , I would have. He also went out by checking on this car when the oil was changed and all the other services done on the car. In the future, I’ll definitely bring any vehicle I might have to be serviced. If you want to get your vehicle repaired right the first time, this is the place to take it. They also text you an estimate with detailed pictures and information about any issues that may need addressing, immediately or the near future and I feel like they have very reasonable prices.

After driving over a large chunk of ice/snow, my vehicle was making a grinding and creaking sound. I put it off for a few days and let it sit in the garage, worried the repair was going to be expensive. My husband called to see if they could schedule us sometime in the next few days, but they were able to get it in immediately that afternoon. Andy had the issue diagnosed and fixed within 20 minutes and said it was free of charge since it was an easy fix that didn't require new parts. We are very grateful for Andy's time/expertise and would have happily paid to have us safely back on the road. There are few things I dread more than going to a repair shop, but we will definitely be bringing our vehicles back in the future if(when) they are in need of service!

They did an excellent job on my truck. Working like new again. Thanks to the staff and especially Andy.

Neither Andy or I had any idea the adventure we would undertake when I brought my F150 in for a check engine light. Several weeks and Ks later, my truck purrs like a kitten with a new (remanufactured) engine.

Big Jim’s motto should be you get what you pay for. If you want the cheapest or fastest solution, look elsewhere. If you want thorough, competent and ethical service, Andy is the man.
