I came to eat here on a Saturday and the wait time was 25 min. Not bad at all, was seated after 25 min. I came back the next day because the food was just absolutely incredible! The cinnamon roll pancakes are the best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life! This will be my new go to breakfast place! If I had an area of improvement, it would be service should be a little more timely. I understand being busy as a server, however, the first visit, I was sitting at the table for 10 min before receiving something to drink. Other than that this place is awesome!

I’ve been coming here off and on since 2019, and I’ve always enjoyed their breakfast. The staff is always friendly and it has a down-home, diner feel. My personal favorites are their Famous Hearty Breakfast and Meat Lover’s Breakfast. Also, their grits are especially good! Definitely recommend.

Wonderful place. Everything was so delicious and the staff is amazing! I had the power wrap, then my family got the hearty breakfast and chorizo breakfast. My friend ordered the cinnamon pancakes and I had a bite, those were heaven. Definitely recommend going.

I've been going here so long, it's about time I make the fantastic review it deserves.

I have to start by saying the main reason I go is the cinnamon roll pancakes. They. Are. To. Die for. At this point I pretty much always get the same thing: The Famous Hearty Breakfast, with scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage, and an upcharge to the cinnamon roll pancakes. The dulce de leches drissle they put on top just makes it!

The service is always wonderful, and even when they are busy, the wait is manageable.

Stopped in for the first time. Had the loaded hash browns. It was Served timely and was delicious! Service was excellent. I'd definitely recommend stopping in.

Visited from out of town and ate breakfast here both mornings! From the moment you walk in you are treated like family and it’s clear this is a beloved community spot. Everyone is friendly, happy to work there, and you can tell they are a great team. And the food is amazing! 🤩

Very good breakfast brunch spot. I noticed my reviews had been on the negative side recently, but thought I’d share a recommendation as opposed to caution.
SSC is smaller sized as you see on the map on a small strip mall. I enjoy eating there as it’s close to my home and hits the spot. Crew of retirees usu sit at the bar and are quite chatty. If you prefer a more private seating the booths, small tables and there is a private dining room one can reserve for events.
Naturally prices has risen and/or portion sizes have shrunk. I’d say you still get good value/portion size, correctly prepared meals here.
It’s largely a breakfast spot, but brunch /lunch sandwiches, wraps etc are available. Check em out

Fast and friendly. Various seating options, bar ordering, pleasant staff and delicious food. They have been here for a long time but for new people to the area this is a must go Huntsville piece of breakfast history. Even if they have a wait they get you in and out fast and don't skimp on quality. Go and enjoy!

It was my first time eating at this restaurant. We were celebrating my friend's 60th birthday. Everything was outstanding!

What a great way to start my Anniversary! This was the first I've eaten here and was the best breakfast by far. Will definitely be back to try more food off the menu.

Stopped in for breakfast and so glad we did. This is a small local chain offering comfort food breakfast and lunch. Having said that, there were egg white specials on the menu. I recommend the Blueberry Lemon Muffin, made in house it's the perfect blend of fruit. They serve them warm with plenty of sweet cream butter to melt on top. My coffee didn't go unfilled and we were offered water as soon as we were seated. Our server was Anja , if you get the chance ask for her section. She made quality reccomendstions to us and knew the entire menu. Her service was fast and with a welcome Alabama smile. We ordered the Stuffed Biscuit with Gravy and the Loaded Hash browns. Both were delicious. If you are controlling portions they are happy to put the gravy on the side. All in all this was a GREAT breakfast stop. Decent parking for the restaurant size. Bar seating available.

We came with a large crowd of 20. We had 1 server who was able to get our food out while hot.
The food was very tasty. The waffle was crispy and soft at the same time (not easy to do).
My omelet was filled with sausage, hashbrowns, onions, green peppers and cheese. Then smothered with sausage gravy.
So good!
The biscuits are fluffy with a good buttermilk flavor but not bitter. Nice taste with gravy, honey, or jelly.
Need to stop by and try them out. You WILL thank me!

Might be my new favorite breakfast cafe! The staff was super kind and the food was phenomenal! What I loved most was the blend of a classic, small town cafe with the modern touch on the food menu. I had the Avocado Toast and the Caramel Cream Cold Brew. Definitely try this place!!

We love Sunny Street Cafe! Our 2 kids enjoy the food as well. They can be very picky at times but when we go, the service is quick, they offer color sheets, kids menu, sufficient parking, and good food. It's a weekly spot for our family.

Super friendly, local, hometown feel. Dine in, cozy booths. Traditional southern comfort breakfast food.

This was a yummy breakfast. The food was cooked great, but the temp was off a little. This was my first stop in. The waitress was good... They have some good ideas in place for social distancing and sanitizing.

There was a wait, but its worth it. I had the bourbon banana pancake breakfast. It was amazing! Service was outstanding. I recommend cafe to anybody.

Have been here several times and have never been disappointed. Great food at reasonable prices, super sweet staff and comfortable and cozy atmosphere. My favorite breakfast place in the Huntsville area.

The first time I ate here, I knew I was at the right place because the menu actually said chicken fried steak instead of country fried.

Food is great as always! Tried something new today: Stuffed Biscuits & Gravy! Was so good, and I believe the “biscuit” was actually a croissant and very delicious!
