Vintage West Interiors

While we were in the process of building our home and being from out-of-state, we walked to Vintage West in Providence and decided to buy a dining table. While checking out we were made aware of Vintage West's capability of providing design consultancy This was over a year ago and Teresa and her team have done an extraordinary job of providing suggestions to align our home to our tastes whether it was a couch purchase, setting up a guest suite, or plantation shutter installation for the windows in our home. Our discussions are very stress free as Teresa provides suggestions and opinions on what we were wanting to accomplish. No hard pressure and much more collaborative. We continue to work with Vintage West to flesh out our retirement dream home and couldn't be happier with this productive relationship and would suggest others explore what Vintage West could provide you

There's a great feeling walking into Vintage West and always genuinely friendly people to help. Awesome 'just right' elegant farmhouse-like furniture and decor...I guess that's what it must be 'like' but I'm a guy...its just cool. My wife is a superior designer and loves it there. Ask about "Robert's Chair"... but you can't have it! It's mine! :O)

Vintage West is a awesome store and has a staff that was very helpful. We went with the French Country style in the entire house and they nailed it! Complete satisfaction on everything they suggested from top to bottom. Many thanks to Teresa visions!!

Absolutely genuine! From the moment we walked in everyone was so curteous and the decor was exactly what my wife was looking for! If you're looking for that unique one of a kind spot for your home decor, look no further!

Location in Cullman is nice

The furniture had a great variety predominatly in styles from traditional, transitional, farm house, contemporary, etc.
I ended up buying a pillow that I absolutely love, and the pillow looks fantastic in my modern/contemporary built home that I have styled with transitional and mid-century modern interior design.

At first, when I entered the store (I was the only one in there), I think something personal and/or tense was going on because two store employees were speaking with each other and did not greet me initially. I think they noticed this because they decided to turn the store music back on. When one of the employees left with their two young family members, I still was not approached. I decided to make conversation with the employee about their window treatments (that is why initially went was to see if they had custom window treatment options available, and if so what the options were if I lived in another state). The employee was extremely helpful and attentive to my needs after I initiated the conversation, which I appreciated.

I will definitely go back and give them a second go because of the effort made after I made the effort to make conversation with the employee.

I recognize that people are human and we all have "off" days where everything that can go wrong, does go wrong; especially during a Friday afternoon.

My only suggestion is for the employees to make sure their guests are greeted and felt welcomed as soon as they step in through there business doors. If I did not have as much time on my hands, I probably would have left the store because I was ignored for the first bit.

The same enthusiasm and knowledge that happened after I initiated the conversation with the employee needs to be initiated and maintained by the employees, because this interaction "saved the day" and is what has made me want to go back despite a rocky initial first impression.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I had 2 appointments for design services and 2 NO SHOWS. No phone calls or anything. The first appointment she missed she was with another client and claimed she didn’t have my number (could you call the store and get it). The second appointment she just totally forgot. I had to arrange to be off work and be home both times. My time is valuable too! I contacted them and they finally came. When they finally showed up the lady was unprepared, in a rush, and had an attitude because I called the 2 no shows UNPROFESSIONAL. The meeting did not go well. She was supposed to call me with a quote the next day. SHE NEVER CALLED. I waited 2 or 3 weeks before I contacted them. She tried to blame it on me and said I didn’t seem interested. SO UNPROFESSIONAL! I was treated better by Rock Bottom Carpets when I was selling a house. So disappointing!

Horrible customer service. The lady in the store spoke to everyone in the store but my daughter and myself. Thought I was just imaging things at first but not even a thank you for coming. First and last time shopping there. Every customer should be treated with respect no matter what they look like.
