Misra, Devi P Dr

I read the other reviews and cannot believe we are talking about Dr. Misra. He has been my father’s doctor for well over 25 years. My father was admitted into HH three years ago this past Christmas. My father called Misra’s office and asked that he stop by for an official visit. Once doctor Misra got there things started happening fast. He ordered additional test. These test found that he had a tumor on his right kidney. After being referred to a surgeon the tumor and kidney were removed. He underwent three years of Chemo and this past Christmas was declared in remission. He had stage IV cancer and is. Ow in remission. If it were not for Dr. Misra my father would not have recently celebrated Father’s Day with his family. I appreciate everything Dr. Misra has done for my father.

Jenn Leitch, I think you have the wrong physician. Dr. Misra is internist and pulmonary physician. He has no other doctor in his practice. He has a solo practice.

If y'all want to live, avoid this Dr. He is a liar and will treat you like dirt. He was my husband's Dr. When my husband had less than a week to live I asked Dr misra to step into my husband's hospital room and tell him what he had just told me in the hallway. Which was that he knew three months prior that my husband was about to die (by the way that was a lie). He was lying to me and ran outta my husband's HH room.... ran away with his tail between his legs like the coward he is. My husband died two weeks later at home with me sleeping next to him and holding his hand. He never heard it from Dr misra that he was actively dying. We we're never advised about the need for palliative or hospice care because this Dr only cares about himself and his bank account! Dr misra needs to leave medicine to Drs who actually care about their patients. And can tell the truth, no matter what that is. My husband deserved the
truth, but he never heard it from Dr misra. He died in June 2016. Guess I'm still 😡 angry! Just found out he is finally at nearly age 80 retiring. Too little to late for me, my late husband and our children. At least he can't harm anyone else.

This is about the last doctor you want when in the hospital. Poor bedside manners. Very rude whether he realizes it or not. I was admitted into the hospital twice in one week and he has the audacity to come into my room and repeatedly asked why I was back...you're the doctor! You tell me! He didn't read my chart before he came to see me. I know that because he told me I HAD to take tests that I've already taken 5 hours before. I can't stand doctors who do not take the time to talk to you and understand. He was also upset that I requested pain medicine sooner than every 4 hours because it was wearing off too early and I was in excruciating pain. I had pancreatitis, if a G.I doctor doesn't understand how painful that is than that is really sad. He makes his rounds once a day, and not until 6 pm, so how could he possible know how sick I was feeling? Hugely dissapointed with this doctor. However, I found other G.I doctors in the same practice as him (Dr.Roath) to be hugely helpful, understanding and compassionate.

AVOID AT ALL COST.

Easily the worst doctor I’ve ever seen.

The first appointment I had with him, he was 50 minutes late. When he finally walked into the room, he didn’t apologize, didn’t say hello, didn’t even look at me. Just said, “I see you have problems breathing after exercise.”

Today I had my follow up and decided to leave after waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time. I told the lady at the front desk that I’m tired of waiting, and she said, “Ok, I’ll send your results to the Army clinic. Have a nice day.”

Horrible service, terrible doctor... nice facility.
