The cross is a nice easy hike from a parking area. It is fairly flat and an easy hour and back stroll in the woods. The area of the cross has a few picnic tables, in case you want to bring a lunch.

You used to be able to see this cross from downtown and it was wonderful. I used to hike this trail a lot in the early 90s. I'd always stop and pray at the foot of the cross. I hope this cross remains standing for many years to come.
