Applebee's Grill + Bar

I was seated where I could see the TV. The food was full of flavor! The server was helpful, answered any questions I had and she checked back often enough to keep my drink replenished. The servings were generous. Afterwards I sat for a few moments before leaving. I was a very satisfied customer. Satisfied with the atmosphere, the service, the taste and the bill.

Very nice experience, food was great and came out at perfect times. Our waitress Sarah B. was very friendly, check on us at all the right moments, and made us feel welcomed. First time there and would definitely eat here again.

Food was okay, rib eye was pretty thin (claims to be a 12oz, not so sure), but cooked good and fair taste. My wife had crispy Chicken Wonton Tacos and said they we real good, but a little messy. Ask for extra napkins, ha ha. Service was great! Thank you, James. We will be back and I will try something else.

I did the 2 for $28 and was pleasantly surprised that the portions were a decent size. Left full 👍
I would definitely recommend the crispy cheese bites.

We had attentive service from beginning to end. My drink was a little too strong in the beginning, so they took it back and added more juice to it making it perfect. Plus I just love their 2 for $27.

After a long night of wondering where to go for dinner thinking of all the places around I chose Applebees. It had probably been 5 years since I had been. I walked in the first thing I noticed was the new paint job and how “modern” it looks. The neon signs caught my eyes and tried to buy them. Unfortunately the lovely manager (I can’t remember her name) wouldn’t sell them to me. (I’ll try again) I sat down the bartender was so nice last time I was at an Applebees it took forever to get served food she was very attentive and I never had to wait to get asked for a refill. I had order spin dip and then a classic cheese burger. A few special requests because to be honest I like a food a certain way so I asked for it to be done that way. Typically if a place can’t they’ll tell me and that’s fine. Well Applebees on Collins rd did it. So kudos to them.

We had delicious mozzarella sticks and wings. Our Oriental Salads were huge and so tasty.

Food could always use a punch or like the pasta t needs wayyyyyy more sauce for God's sake!!! Don't nobody want no motherfuking pasta that's dry as a bone and I ain't even enough sauce for the damn breadstick that you get with it. Your Long island's or tasting marvelous because the bartender that we had was spectacular and she actually knew how to make a Long

Kelly was a great server as she was attentive and timely! Matt the manager also came to check on us and was hospitable as well.

Very nice, clean, decent staff. Went by myself and enjoyed a delicious salad and Blue Hawaiian long Island iced tea with a stuffed potato w/o meat (I'm vegetarian).

Tori was my waitress tonight and she was GREAT. She was very busy and made sure to be attentive at the same time. Everyone was working hard there but I definitely need to give her a shout out!! Thank you!

Dinner went well. Server did a good job filling drinks and taking away unwanted plates.

UPDATED DOWN BELOW !! Went there Yesterday Oct. 13 abt 3:00ish. There were abt 10 ppl or so in the restaurant so we were seated right away we ordered our drinks we got them fairly fast. We ordered our food the soup was ice cold & waited & waited for our waitress to come bk to see how things were tasting no luck finally I got up & was heading toward a mgr when the waitress appeared I asked for my soup to be heated up. Soup get brought bk followed by our meal I asked for no seasoning on my fries that was fine. When she set our food down she made a comment abt at least the fries are fresh the fries may have been fresh but were Luke warm. After our waitress delivered our meal she never came bk not once to see how things tasted or if we needed anything else. We finally got the bill she said I put it all together I asked for it to be separated that was fine. This is the the worst service / food I’ve had at Applebees. We eat at Applebees in our home town & a manager or team leader always comes around to make sure everything is ok. I cld see if they were swamped but by no means was that the case. We won’t be bk to eat here.

ATT MGR: After tlking to a mgr we decided to take another chance on Applebees on Oct 23 it’s abt 3:30 ish this time aprox same amount of ppl in the restaurant as I stated above. This time service was great the young gentleman came around & refilled our drinks made sure everything was good asked if we needed anything else. Our food was hot & tasty my soup was piping hot just like I like it. This time you all get a thumbs up. Great job this time nxt time we are in Cedar Rapids we’ll stop in again. I know I said I’d touch base with a mgr but we were on a tight schedule so nxt time I will touch base with you. I do appreciate you giving me the time to tlk abt my pretty bad review.

The bourbon street steak was delicious, as always, as was the sirloin. Not a fan of the garlic mashed potatoes. But everything else was fantastic. Even providing non-alcoholic Heineken. Our server Kaylyn was exceptional. Very attentive to our needs. And Wednesday 99 cent kids meals are a great idea.

Service was friendly and efficient. The after 9pm menu is a great value. Drink app and dessert for $13. Significant portions

Last visit was for dinner with a friend. The waitress was on time with everything, very respectful, and checked in on us often enough. Stopping in for lunch this time with a group of friends. Endless wings!!!!!!!

The staff in the kitchen did an excellent job with my order. The tomato basil soup was to die for.I was blown away with the level of care when making my to go order. They included both sauces I wanted and a little extra. Love love love from the Lord God to them all!
