Dr.Alapati is always looking out for your best interest. I have had so many accomplishments in my mind, with Dr paying attention to me and what I say. His staff has been so helpful with so many areas. They are a busy office, no doubt about it! Why he has not received anything less than positive reviews is beyond me. What works for one, may not work for another. C est la vie ;)

I absolutely love Dr Mengeesha. He is extremely compassionate and very knowledgeable. He takes time to explain things thoroughly. Summer works in the front. She is usually the first person I see and she is always so patient with me even though I am often having a hard time understanding everything. I want to say Thankyou to the entire team. I appreciate you all!

My neurologist Dr T. Mengesha is great! I like how he take time to hear my concerns, and never makes me feel rushed. He’s very through. I have Cerebral Palsy and have been doctors though out my adult life and have felt discounted, not heard, and just put everything on CP.
There’s nothing like a Dr who really cares.
The staff is friendly and nice.

Seen dr. Alapatti and I may have spelled the name wrong but you guys know who if you know who. I went in with episodes of headaches and numbness, confusion etc left with a prescription and a order for MRI, carotid, transcranial u/s and a EEG, waiting for the results now but he wanted to rule everything out. I definitely felt heard and understood. He was mainly short winded but again we had no info besides history first visit lol he is an older doctor and probably just in routine of things reading
Other reviews but he did listen and hopefully we’ve figured it out.

Worst doctor ever. My father went to see him because he needed help and this “Doctor” was very rude and unprofessional.
He questioned my dad why he stop talking the medication he prescribed in a very rude and mad way.
My dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in Mexico after seeing Anjaneyulu Alapati and the Mexican doctors prescribed different meds. so my dad came back to the US and went to see this guy Anjaneyulu Alapati to continue treatment and explain that he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s at Mexico.
This doctor started questioning why he was taking this new meds. my dad was trying to explain and this doctor started to get mad and scream at my dad.
We are not doctors, we went to see this guy because we didn’t went to medicine school that’s why we were there looking for help with the one that studied medicine. God!!!
Please be kind
People that are sick need kindness from our doctors.
By the way, we pay them, it’s not for free.
At least we need your professionalism.

Dr. Alapati is the RUDEST doctor I have ever met in my life. I was referred to him by my OBGYN, he’s is very unprofessional and uncaring. I was giving him medical history an he undoubtedly cut me off he kept trying to down talk me as if I don’t understand medical terms or as if I don’t know my OWN medical history, he has no professional class and shouldn’t even be allowed to practice NEVER again will I never walk into that office again. The rest of the staff was wonderful I appreciate the nurses but that doctor needs to be removed!!!

I have been there a few times. GASLIGHTING... GASLIGHTING. It is frustrating that they dont take the time to ever look in your file. If you ask the right questions, he acts like he doesnt understand you. Then he does not want to speak to you anymore... after blaming all of my problems on one thing.... I know better, reading my own mri's. Reading nct's and emg's. He was way off on what is wrong with my back and neck.

I was referred to HH Neurological Associates by my doctor for a test that was not urgent but she highly recommended. Our insurance had recently changed to a very high deductible insurance, meaning insurance was not going to cover anything, until we meet our high deductible. So I called the office asking for a quote on the service. They told me they could not give me the cost of the procedure. They told me to call my insurance provider. I did, and they told me they could not give me a cost for the procedure. I called the doctor again to get the exact charge codes for the procedure and the contact for their billing department. I called the billing department and verified the codes. They again stated they could not give me the cost of the procedure I would need to talk to my insurance agency. I told them I had already done so and they referred me back to the doctor. At this point we got in a three way call with the billing office and my insurance representative. We talked for half and hour and they came to the conclusion that the insurance would pay 80% after I reached me deductible. I said, yes, I know! I read the paperwork. I need to know how much this procedure will cost so I can determine if I can afford it or if I need to delay the procedure. I will not meet my deductible this year. The doctors office and billing office again denied being able to give me a cost. This had not stretched over days and hours on the phone. I finally got someone to give me a quote. They did stipulate that it was JUST a quote for $162.00 I said ok. If it was twice that we should be ok. Oh, no. The bill comes back for $816! with an adjustment between the Dr. and the insurance agency (which I knew existed they just wouldn't admit it having) of $485.02. Three times the quote! I wrote informing them that I could not pay that amount at the time because I needed to purchase new glasses for my children for the beginning of school. I sent them the $162 and stated I would get them the rest when I could. I sent a copy of the letter to both the Dr.'s office and the billing office (they are not even in the same building and apparently never talk to each other). I did not hear from them again until I received a letter stating that unless I pay my bill in full in the next ten days my bill will be sent to a collection agency. I received about six e-mails and fancy post cards asking me to take a survey to let them know what they can do to serve me better. When I give them a legitimate concern they don't have the decency to respond with anything but a threat. And, my hands are still numb. Did they give me anything useful for a diagnosis or what to expect in the future? No. Over $500 of nothing but threats. However, the waiting room was clean, the nurses polite.

Doctors report to Cigna disability insurance cause me to lose my eligibility for compensation. The report was she is walking fine she is talking fine she can go back to work. My job as computer programmer didn’t require walking and talking skills but rather logic and details. My logic therapist was able to provide a complete evaluation of my stroke damage and my disability insurance was reinstated. I’m 74 had a stroke last October

Do not waste your time or money seeing Dr. Alopati. He has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I have ever witnessed. He isn't able to communicate in English proficiently which means he will not listen to any of your concerns. He doesn't care about you, your wellbeing or your quality of life. I've said it before and I'll say it again with full confidence: put a white coat on a goat and you will by far exceed the level of care. He needs to let his student doctors from UAB teach him how to commiserate effectively before wasting another dime of patients money.

Don’t go to this doctor if you expect to have your concerns and expectations heard. I have never felt so dejected and undervalued by a medical professional. He didn’t want to hear what I had to say and ridiculed what I said to others that were in the room. I once had a neurologist that was like one of my good friends-this doctor treated me like I was dirt on the floor.

Absolutely the worst doctor I’ve ever came across. Very careless. Just throws you on any medication to get you to come back. I DO NOT RECOMMEND
