Huntsville/Madison County Visitor Center - Downtown

I was very impressed when I visited the Huntsville Visitor Center. Huntsville has something to offer anyone and everyone. The staff working here know about everything there is and can point you to the right handout quickly. I highly recommend visiting here.

The folks who work here are lovely! They took the time to answer all of my questions and gave me some recommendations for local places. There were a lot of pamphlets for local travel/attractions and several displays with some fun facts about Huntsville. They also have coupons for discounts on local attractions and you can purchase some Huntsville themed swag. Highly recommend stopping here before you visit any museums etc.

This was our first visit to Huntsville and we stopped in to get some information about what to see and do. It was a great decision! The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us some great suggestions. They also have a fun picture area in the back and it will email you a photo with different backgrounds of places in Huntsville. We spent maybe 10 minutes taking photos. I recommend you stopping in here and checking it out. Also they have discount coupons for the Space and Rockect Center!

The kids loved the Duck Scavenger Hunt! If the travel here with kids and have a few spare hours we highly recommend it!!

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Physical space is very nice and welcoming with locally relevant decor. Location easy to find with parking onsite.

I'd give this a definite 5 plus. We were greeted immediately with a warm smile and shown what materials were available. There are hundreds of pamphlets, brochures, local entertainment guides. The only thing they didn't have was a street map of Huntsville. The city doesn't print them anymore.

The people working there are very friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to get to know us and chat about our interests, making suggestions about different places to go and things to do. We enjoyed talking to them and left with an entire bag full of interesting material to look over.

A must visit. All the suggestions I saw online when planning a visit to Huntsville recommended going here first and they're right. The clerks are very knowledgeable. There's tons of information, brochures, souvenirs and great coupons for attractions and local events. We saved 20% on the Space and Rocket Center and the Botanical gardens. My favorite part? You can take postcard pictures "in front of" attractions for free and email them to yourself!

What a wonderful wellcome!!! People working there like what they do, and share their love for the city. We learned a lot thanks to them and we loved our stay in this beautiful city! We founded many of ducks! 😉 We spended to many time in LoveMill to found all of them! We liked this place so much!

The ladies working here are the friendliest people I have ever met; a perfect example of southern hospitality. They are very helpful in assisting however they can to improve your visit. Very energetic and fun to chat with, too. You must stop here first to plan your stay in Huntsville and get the ducky clues!

Probably the best and definitely the most welcoming visitor center of all. And a money-saver for sure. The people are super friendly, content is very helpful. They even give you bottled water. Don’t forget to ask for coupons for key attractions. Save 20% flat on space center, and other attractions. They surely love their city!

Upon entering we were greeted by Mildred. She was very informative about the areas that were interested in visiting. Mildred provided us with coupons and literature so our stay would be more enjoyable. She is a true ambassador for your City. She even assisted us with making a selfie from their kiosk. She even told us to come back and visit with her again. This is a must stop when you visit Huntsville.

The ladies who helped us here were friendly, knowledgeable and seemed very excited about our visit. We left with lots of options for things to do with kids besides the Space and Rocket Center. Visitors to the area should consider this a first stop when visiting Huntsville.

It has all the information you need for your visit to Alabama. The staff was friendly and very helpful.

Wonderful!! The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. They offered us drinks, helped us find brochures and were full of information. There was a little museum inside as well.
I hope to visit again soon!

Very welcoming staff with info on placed to see, & good spots for lunch! Lots of Cool exhibits on the space program as related to Huntsville & famous people from there.

Super friendly staff! They ask really good questions to gauge your interests and make recommendations. Also, you don't have to be visiting to go. Stop by and,find,a new place in your city. Make sure to do the duck scavenger hunt!

Do the duck hunt. You won't regret it. Also everyone at the center just wants you to love Huntsville. You can get calendars of what is happening, and coupons of major attractions in the city. Well worth the visit.
