Jennifer and Miracle with MCWD absolutely went above and beyond to help me with my water bill! I had a pretty bad leak and they showed me reports reflecting that. Jennifer took it to the next step and helped me understand what was needed done on my end so she could try and get my bill adjusted once the repairs were fixed! It’s good to know that there are people out there that understand and are willing to help others in the time of need. Thank you MCWD for your support and understanding!

Had a billing problem with them. They had not billed me for 10 months on my mew home and also sent no bill because they did not enter the address when I singed up, so they did not know where to send the billing. I did give it to them along with my phone number when I signed up when I moved here from out state. I thought Intreggra Water was my water bill..my mistate.
The office called me today and a wonderful and pleasant lady named Pam helped me with the problem and now we are all set. I know they have terrible ratings but this woman was so nice, polite and understanding while I complained I wanted to comment and give her a 5 Star ratting. She is a keeper as a company employee and customer relations service. Thank you Pam..🫠

I just got off the phone with Madison County Water customer service. The lady was very friendly and professional. I had a leak that had used more water than we normally use. While our leak was not large enough to meet the requirements to adjust our bill the lady was still extremely helpful. I have not had to call them since our home was built over 12yrs ago and she took the time to give me a snap shot of how the system works and what they can do for me. The bottom line is that while she could not help me this time, she was very pleasant to deal with. I wish that I had gotten her name but I missed it.

Had a major leak at the meter. We had a positive experience with the call we made to them to let them know about it. Not knowing who's side it was on due to the depth of the water. She sent a work order through, and explained that if it's on my end. They will work on it for a nominal fee which was fair, and not anywhere near as expensive as expected. The crew was really friendly, and explained the whole process. Once done we had a new meter with leak detection, and is linked with thier network. Unfortunately, it's on my side. Now they can see if it's from the main, or output side of the meter no matter how small the leak.

They fixed a service line that was leaking. They came out with a backhoe which was needed but also clogged half the culvert. I asked them about that before they left to see if they can clean that up so water can drain properly. I guess they just didn't want to get out their shovels and said a crew is going to come behind them to clean things up. Two days later I call and said I haven't seen anyone come out to clean this up or unclog the culverts and they said they are scheduled to come out between a month and a month and a half. I would've been satisfied if the crew would've just unclogged the culvert they clogged. Now we don't have proper drainage. 🙄

Update: A few weeks later they did come by and fix this. The drainage is as it should be now.

Paid my bill on automated system today. Attempted to speak to someone live but every mailbox was full even the operator!!

10/27/2017... 10:10 pm. No water at all here on Stephens Road in Hazel Green. This happens to many times.

From my experience today and with the staff and management and the call back person. I understand they’re trying to protect themselves but if the shoe was on the other foot they would not stand for it. The person I spoke said out of her mouth that they no longer go to the property but read the meters from the office, if there’s a discrepancy, that they will notify the property manager since I’m not on the bill. So I asked if they sent them a email to notify them that the water usage is going up above normal. Her response she can’t say. So unfortunately for me I won’t be notified by something extreme like this because I pay through a third party. Btw this Madison water gets zero stars.

They need to just go back under Huntsville Utilities already! Each and every time I try to sign into their web portal to pay the bill, I have to recreate the account. Now, I can't even do that because it's saying I have too many accounts registered to the email addresses that I have. If it's not that, it says it cannot find my account either because the account number is wrong, even though I'm copying / hand typing it from the original email that I got that started my account. You call customer service and they can't help because they say it isn't anything within their control and nobody at MCW handles the online account because they outsourced it to another company. Yet they won't put any tickets in with that company either to fix the issue and you can't call that company either. That's just for online bill pay too! Its ridiculous and in this day and age where like EVERYTHING is paid online, you can't be serious about it. But I don't think they'll see this as I haven't seen ANY responses to reviews that have already been placed which is why they have a 1.8 star rating.

UNBELIEVABLE. WE CANT GET WATER ON IN OUR NEW HOUSE FOR 4 DAYS. THEY CUT THE WATER OFF AT 230 ON A FRIDAY. I CANT START NEW SERVICE UNTIL MONDAY. I DONT EVEN SEE HOW THIS IS LEGAL.

I had a leak and spent $1700 to fix it. I submitted a request for a bill adjustment three months ago and I have YET to get a response. Madison Cty said it could take months to adjust the bill. Do NOT use them

Was told two days ago that a few houses on our street had a bad water leak and Madison County came out and shut my water off themselves due to the leak (as I haven’t been living there since October and forgot to submit a move out request). They send me an email today at 12PM saying they need a repair receipt in order to adjust my bill and it has to be submitted by 3:30PM today or else they can’t adjust my bill. No one will answer the phone or return my call, so I have sent them a few emails explaining the situation and telling them I will not be responsible for paying for 1. A leak that occurred at multiple addresses on my street and 2. A bill for water I did not use as I was not living there at the time. This place is so extremely unprofessional and unresponsive. RUN if you find out you have to have water through Madison County. They are a bunch of scammers.
