SpringHill Suites by Marriott Huntsville West/Research Park

I went to visit HudsonAlpha and was so glad I found this hotel. Usually I look for AC hotels because I like the no carpet, but the reviews on this one were much better so I gave it a shot. It was great! The best part were the folks checking me in, one of them was Tom Kurzenbaum. After a very long day I was so tired and had really dry eyes and he found me some eye drops! It was very sweet. Also I really appreciate the wipes in the room and the comfy bed. I will certainly be back!

You must stay at thos hotel when you are visiting Huntsville. It is new with large, clean rooms. Daily breakfast included, non-pork options offered.
However the best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are all kind and amazing. They made us feel ar home and taken care of. It was above and beyond.

This is my very favorite hotel! We travel extensively over 150 days a year and stay with Marriott any time we can. This year we travelled to Huntsville to meet family for Christmas and the staff at this hotel made our trip magical. The property is beautiful and clean, well situated for walking and with close parking and large clean comfortable communal areas. The shower was great too. But it’s the standout staff that really sets this property apart. Tom, Cedric and Edyta were so special and fun that it really added to our Christmas and will always go out of our way to come back here whenever we travel this way. Thank you all for making our stay special.

Family of 5 (3 kids under 16) here for Space Camp - We can’t say enough about this hotel! The staff are extremely polite, friendly & helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and updated. The free breakfast was one to write home about - the best one we’ve experienced. Many options laid out: microwaveable breakfast sandwiches & packaged waffles, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal (with tons of toppings), eggs, sausage and potatoes, bagels & muffins. Staff kept it fully stocked and the dining area very clean. Just a heads up - There is construction currently going on next to the hotel on the north-west side & the workers start early. Something to consider if sleeping in is your “thing”.
We can’t say enough about this hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Our sincere “Thank You” for adding a great place to stay for our vacation!

As a titanium elite member, it is safe to say that I have stayed at my fair share of Marriott hotels. This hotel and stay were fantastic! This hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and takes pride in their customers. I arrived late due to flight delays, upon calling the front desk, I found that the front door was locked, (and not the main entrance). Instead of the man making me walk all the way around he was kind enough to come to the front door and let me in.
Breakfast options are bountiful!! Which for me was another great perk, as they had great grab-and-go options! Also, walkable to a handful of restaurants.
You will not be disappointed in your stay here!! If and when I return to Huntsville, this will be my hotel of choice, hands down.

Have to say that management was absolutely awesome and very accommodating to our family and fellow friends who stayed here at the same time as well. Very kind and patient and accommodating to the kiddos as well. Sits right in the middle of a really great downtown area with restaurants all around, and lots of really good choices to choose from. Don’t have to go far if you’re looking for a very nice place to stay and eat for a night or two.

We love this location near restaurants & shops. We walked over to the grill one evening & listened to a fantastic band. We had lunch at the bakery/restaurant down on the corner & went to an open market in the park.
The staff were friendly & helpful & the room was clean & nice. We liked the Kurig coffee pot vs the other little pot in most rooms.
Construction on the building next door was in progress but it never disturbed us.

Dated hotel but nice renovations. Check in was pleasant as always and atmosphere was wonderful. Breakfast was amazing which I definitely did not expect. I would recommend staying here for a nice affordable stay.

Hotel was very clean and modern. Room was very nice (fairly standard newer springhill room). Front desk staff was really friendly and helpful (seemed eager to please). Breakfast was good with the standard Marriott fare (three pots of various hot food slightly different each day, oatmeal, breads, yogurt, cereal, etc), but also had several additional microwavable breakfast sandwiches that I have not seen offered at most Marriotts. Absolutely no complaint from me and would absolutely stay here again when in the area.

Superior service. Clean, large rooms. I especially like the trundle bed couch combo. I didn't use it as such but it would be convenient for a family of four that had two smaller kids. Breakfast was good, fresh and hot. Extremely convenient location to the Amphitheatre. A short 8 minute Uber ride. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

This is a GREAT hotel. We really like the room layout with a large desk to work at and a separate sitting room. The bathroom is roomy and it has the best hotel shower we have ever experienced. Every staff member we met was friendly and provided the very best customer service. Lastly, the breakfast is really good from both the quality and variety standpoints. When we visit here again we will be staying here from now on.

This Marriott property is in a great location, within close proximity to nice restaurants and eateries. The room size was perfect for me. Also, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I stayed at this hotel on two consecutive weekends, and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip back to Huntsville.

I don’t know that I have ever stayed at a better chain Marriott property than this one. The location is awesome- safe, ample free parking, and walking distance to cute little bars and restaurants when the time is right. Everything about the hotel was sparkling clean, the lobby pantry/shop was always well-stocked, and the customer service could not have been better. Every single person at the front desk greeted us every time we came in and provided suggestions, advice, and great conversation. Housekeeping and other employees we encountered in the halls or lobby were equally friendly. Also, everyone was masked, the hotel was not crowded, and social distancing was maintained. We were there, sadly, for a funeral, and they could not have been nicer and even offered us a free drink. Anything we needed, they provided quickly and with a smile. Truly have not experienced kinder, more attentive staff or a nicer property in a better location. We actually transferred here after a bad experience at another property in town and it turned our weekend around. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Friendly staff! The room setup was great. Perfect for those who are working as there was a desk with great lighting. Breakfast complete with oatmeal and waffles. Coffee available all day. Later in the day, cookies available. Easy check in and out. Awesome location with restaurants in walking distance. Off the beaten path so not a lot of regular traffic. Best hotel around!! Will stay again!

I stay here all the time when I travel. Roomy, clean, wonderful staff. No complaints. I've stayed at other locations in the Providance area but Springhill definitely best for the price.

Very nice. Roomy Suites. A second TV might be nice addition in the future. Good wifi.
