AC Hotel by Marriott Huntsville Downtown

We stayed here on a Saturday night using a free night award. This was a great use of a free night. The room was clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable. Coffee maker worked great. The shower was nice. Parking can be a challenge. There was an event at the Von Braun center. There were 20-30 cars that parked in the lot. It made it challenging to find parking spots for those that came later. We went to the afternoon event rather than the evening, so we saw all the cars leaving. On the plus side, the location is a short walk to Von Braun. I was a little nervous with some of the reviews, but our stay was excellent.

Very new, clean and well.located hotel. Bar is open until 11.30 and has Great jerk wings and hummus along with thier cocktails.

My company just hosted their 7th event with AC Hotel - we love it here. Food and drinks are great and they have the best staff. If you ever get the chance to work with Frank or Whitney, consider yourself lucky. Your event is in great hands! Any chance I get to host an event in Huntsville, I’m going to AC Hotel!

Izzy was a great bartender! Totally prepared and attentive without being overbearing. The food was delicious, quick and exactly what I needed. I'll be back again!

This is such an amazing place I couldn't recommended it more! I want to specifically mention the chef they are absolutely incredible best food I ever had. I have him a tip specifically which I have never done before. Also kind staff and wonderful rooms. I’m working hard just so I can stay again! No notes and I’m hard to please.

The only hotel I will stay in when I'm in Huntsville! I may be a little partial as the night I asked my love to be my one and only she said yes. We get the same time every year when we are in America and the hotel doesn't know how thankful we are that we are for them. We never told them that we do this ritual. I recommend this lovely place to all and everyone. Thank you and keep up the magnificent and magical service!!!

We live in Huntsville and needed a staycation and this was the BEST one ever. It literally was a getaway even in a city we live in. We had a gorgeous city view overlooking Big Spring Park. The rooms were immaculate, the bed was comfy, the sound didn't travel much between rooms at all and the location was perfect. Not only that, but Keona in sales made sure we had everything we needed since it was my push gift from my hubby and I needed extra pillows and some accommodations. That being said... again, the beds are soooo comfy! Oh, and the desk staff was super friendly as well (shout out to Sam).

All-in-all, I'd definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others as well.

Things to note: There isn't a pool, but there are 2 nice bars. The rooms don't have microwaves (probably for safety reasons), but they do have a nice size refrigerator and there is a microwave available for use downstairs.

Visited Huntsville for the first time to attend a show at the VBC Arena nearby. Staying at this hotel provided convenience to getting to the arena in a short walking distance and avoiding the traffic. Our room had a beautiful view of the downtown area with the park and walking paths. There is a mini fridge in the room and a microwave conveniently located downstairs in the lobby. It was helpful to warm a cup of soup. There are also snacks, beverages and toiletries available for purchase in the lobby. We visited in mid January 2024 when many of the businesses were closed due to the winter storm that brought snow and ice to the streets and highways.
This hotel had one of the few restaurants which were open that week. The outdoor fire pits are cozy, however I highly suggest having an emergency plan in place for inclement weather. The sidewalk around the hotel was frozen with almost 2inch layer of ice making it extremely difficult to walk on.
I would like to commend Misty- the hotel restaurant manager for hunkering down during that week ensuring that the guests were taken care of while many of the wait/kitchen staff were unable to come in. We observed her wearing multiple hats during that week and she exemplified professionalism, leadership and grace without a single complaint. I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for over three decades and great team members like her are valuable and irreplaceable. I would also like to commend many of the other employee including housekeeping, valet, and front desk staff for they were courteous and very helpful.
Also, be careful with the parking situation as we were ticketed by the city (in the midst of a snow/ice storm) at the hotel parking lot even though we had a handicap parking decal displayed.
Otherwise we look forward to returning and staying here again to enjoy what downtown Huntsville has to offer and everything is open 🙂.

The friendliest staff I have ever seen at a hotel!!! They were very accommodating, friendly and helpful. The place was amazingly clear and well cared for. The breakfast restaurant is delicious and affordable. Front office staff is amazing, food server perfect. And an awesome, awesome valet service.

Stayed overnight for concert at Propst Arena. Got there early afternoon, room was ready and quite comfortable. Short walking distance to arena, about 5 minutes. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom very clean. Staff was very helpful and nice. Would definitely stay here again.

Great spot for brunch, literally no one there except the bartender and a server. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Drinks were strong and tasty. Small menu but everything on it is amazing. Full bar with all the different kinds of liquors, wines, beer, etc. Relaxing music and comfortable seats. Perfect amount of tables. Bathrooms are very very clean and modern.

Conveniently located near entertainment, eateries, and downtown Huntsville. Big Spring Park is an added bonus. Within walking distance of downtown Huntsville.

The staff, especially Cassie, Sarah . They go beyond any staff at any local downtown hotels. The view the amenities are very welcoming. My go to hotel in Huntsville for sure..

Very nice and modern. I didn't care for the pillows, too soft. Would have been better if I'd not given up a pillow for the sleeper in the sofa bed. I’d requested linens for the sofa bed and they didn't bring pillows, nor did i ask for them so it is on me. All the staff I dealt with were super nice. Great location. Would’ve loved to explore the area but was where for a wedding at another location. Will stay there again if I'm ever in the area.

Perfect. The staff at the desk was warm and inviting upon check-in. The parking was close to the building. The City View rooms are worth it. Great location within a short walk to points of interest and a number of downtown eateries. I didn't have time to stop in the bar or restaurant but they did have an evening crowd which is great if you want to be social without leaving the hotel. My room was spotless, modern, and well appointed. Hurry down to the hydration station on each floor and grab a carafe of water as soon as you check in, they go quick. Overall my stay was excellent, the hotel left nothing to be desired and this goes a long way toward a successful business trip. Thank you AC Hotel Huntsville, I will be back soon.

I enjoy staying at the AC in Huntsville for several reasons. The rooms are roomy and done in a more modernistic style. The location is the best for getting to downtown. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Parking is a breeze. Always clean. I highly recommend staying here.

This hotel was affiliated with the Huntsville Comic And Fan Expo during 22-24 April 2022. Hotel decor is very modern, rooms were spacious and comfortable. Large shower was also nice. Hotel Staff were the best-of-the best!! We arrived early so no rooms were ready yet but JOY at the front desk was nice enough to call me when the room was ready. Her Customer Service skills were TOP NOTCH!!! After finishing at the convention, we interacted with Dajuan (I have trouble remembering) who also was extremely pleasant and also had Great Customer Service skills. The next morning we took advantage of the breakfast offered. BAR and KITCHEN staff displayed the same great attitude regarding customer satisfaction. Whomever is running this hotel definitely knows what they are doing.

We will be back for next year's convention and will be staying at this hotel again. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!
