Oscar Moon's Milkshake Bar

Oh, boy! I was glad to find this little gem, and so were the kids. We picked a Boylan root beer from the cooler and they made us root beer floats. There were a ton of other choices for floats, too. Service was quick and with a smile. The decor and music made for a fun and quirky atmosphere. We will be going back!

Always a fun place to go if you’re eating or enjoying the live music at StoveHouse!! My husband and I got a milkshake to share and we loved the milkshake we ordered! The atmosphere is really cool being a diner theme and the girls working were so sweet! Even with it being packed, we still got our shake in a timely manner and we enjoyed our experience from start to finish. We will definitely be back!!

It is always a pleasure returning here. Today, I have ordered the Alabama Peach Pie. It is very smooth and has a natural taste. It is not overly sugar. Also, they are very friendly in this ice cream shop. Just look at how busy they are and you will see why they are a success. I will be saddened when I move west. I will have to find another place comparable to this location in Huntsville.

We love making a stop by whenever we are at Stovehouse! Oscar Moon's Milkshake Bar has such a cool atmosphere! A great place to bring family members or friends that are visiting Huntsville. The milkshakes have always been great. Be sure to check them out!

I just visited Oscar Moon’s for the first time and I wish we had a spot like this in my hometown….hint hint, Boaz! Anyway, they hand mix their milkshakes the old school way and the atmosphere is what really creates the experience and puts the cherry on top, so to speak….and I’m sure you can get an actual cherry on top of your shake if you ask nicely 😃 🍒

If you like the retro 50s/60s vibe and you happen to also like ice-cream (who doesn’t like ice-cream??)…well, I think you’ll get your kicks on Route 66…..uh, I mean Oscar Moon’s located at The StoveHouse

Super great flavors!! I got sea salt caramel and my husband got a cherry shake. The shake took a lot of time to make but I think staff were running a little behind!

Great fun place to stop by for a scoop, staff were friendly but busy! Lots of topping options and a lot of space around to walk and listen o the live music!

Newly-opened with an established feel; vintage everything. Service is superb. For the experience, the prices are surprisingly reasonable. Think “Pulp Fiction” and the five-dollar shake. You’ll understand when you taste it.

Great bluebell ice cream with other toppings added and the large straws for milkshakes. Other non dairly beverages available. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely be back.

My family and I really like the ice cream. I like the specials because my daughter thinks they are cool. It is very creative with the ice cream flavors.

Oscar Moon's milkshakes are ridiculously delicious. I get a new flavor every time I go and have yet to be disappointed! Kailani and her team are very kind and offer the best customer service!

So far I've tried the Alabama Peach Pie (11/10), Scout's Mint (10/10), and the Cookies and Cocoa (10/10).

New school milkshake flavors with an old school vibe. Went to get milkshakes after dinner. The milkshakes aren't too big, and they really are reasonably priced. Staff is really friendly and happy.

Best milkshakes ever made. That's all you need to know. (But I'll keep writing anyway). They're definitely not cheap milkshakes, but they're also incredibly high quality. I admit I have yet to try a cone, sundae, or float, but based on the shakes I've had, I'm quite confident in them. The atmosphere of the shop is akin to a small bar, with old Americana strewn (tastefully) about the joint. Perfect for a date night. They also sell some merch (shirts, hats, mugs, stickers) and boxed snacks (think movie theater), as well as a couple other quirkier items.

They use properly large plastic straws (which is actually a huge plus compared to paper straws), though my one complaint is that the plastic spoons they provide, while long and durable, can be a bit sharp on my lips.

Stovehouse wouldn't be the same without Oscar Moon's!

Very very old time and chill atmosphere. Awesome and interactive service and staff.
