It was a perfect ceremony. They allowed me to be the fuss bucket that I am. I cannot not be more pleased. They arranged the Marine Honor Guard. They allowed me to obsess over every detail right down to the music and when it would be played. The arranged for a guard that was one of the nicest people I have ever met. Out family have used this funeral home for generations. It is because of the perfect staff and the great people that they work with. We will only use this funeral home. We love the staff and how well they treat people in there time of sorrow.

The loss of a loved one is never an easy time. The Patience and compassion we experienced were a great comfort. Susan was wonderful! Robert made us feel as if an old friend was there to see us through. It is a blessing to have the Canon family serving the Waller community for so many years.

Both my parents’ viewing & service were held at Canon Funeral Home. I cannot express enough how great the staff is. My mom’s makeup was done better than she ever did it and my dad looked so bad when he passed away but they were able to make him look like himself & we were able to have the casket open. I highly recommend Canon Funeral Home.

Honestly, there is no good place to start. So first, Canon definitely helped make the process of my dad's funeral a breeze. They were calm, understanding , helpful, informative and they definitely went out of their way to make things happen according to our family's wishes. There is just not enough words to describe our gratitude, The entire team there is extremely nice and personal. They will definitely receive more of our families business and will definitely recommend them to anyone that asks us recommendations. You cannot go wrong in entrusting them with your love ones funeral.

Mr Canon helped us plan my mother-in-law's funeral. He was very kind, and gracious. They did an awesome job when they dressed her, and her makeup looked great. The business has been family run for years, and they have a good reputation. They walk you through every step. I highly recommend them for your loved one.

Canon Funeral Home is very well organized and has a very nice chapel. It is also fairly spacious. Susan goes out of her way to make sure everything is as perfect as can be.

Robert took excellent care of our family's needs in both the recent loss of my mom as well as the loss of my dad two years ago. From a planning perspective he is patient and caring - but also very organized and methodical in his approach so as to not miss anything related to the details. When he says "I'll take care of it" you can rest assured it will be taken care of. He and his wife Jessica attended to every detail, and were present throughout the whole process: planning - visitation - service - graveside - and have communicated with us several times since. Robert is carrying on the tradition of caring for people in their time of need that has been the hallmark of Canon Funeral Home for many years. My family has dealt with the Canon family for many years, and I would highly recommend Robert, his staff, and their services.

My family has used the services of Canon for years, and never had a single problem. They handled everything from start to finish. Why someone would give them a low rating is way beyond me.

Mr. Canon made a very difficult situation a lot easier and less stressful for us when my mom passed away. Nothing was prearranged. He was patient, kind, caring and, easy to work with.

I really enjoyed the work that they did for my husband. They took great care of him and treated us with the upmost respect.

The service provided by this funeral home is beyond disgraceful.
All the family was requesting was to arrange a simple gravesite preparation and service after receiving the cremated remains from the funeral home where the family member was cremated.
The family member was a retired police officer and being brought home to be buried next to his loved one and was receiving an honor service.
We were flat out told by the woman who answered the phone that they do not do that. If they could not handle everything (meaning the cremation) then they were not interested and we should probably call somewhere else.

They have the worse service in the area, took them over a month to place the headstone that my relative already paid, we called them, they just told us everytime they will do it on that day, that they needed the owner but the owner was always on surgery (longest surgery EVER). When I called them today, the lady I think her name was Susanne ? She was rude telling me they sent me an email and hung the phone while we were still talking. Honestly this was not cheap, we were mocked and my family was hurt and disrespected. I don’t recommend and if this is your only option, just be ready to call everyday 3+ times so they can do what they’re supposed and never expect them to be nice or even polite.
