Walton's Southern Table

We came in for some southern cuisine experience, and were not disappointed. This place has a large variety of southern dishes. It is also possible to customize size and number of sides. The people working are nice and friendly. The sweet iced tea was great. The food was good. The fish was very fresh and the sides we tried were delicious. We had an amazing experience here.

Beautiful building with plenty of parking. Spacious inside, with lots of seating. Staff is friendly. Extensive menu filled with southern comfort foods. The fried fish and meatloaf was wonderful! Mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese..you can’t go wrong ordering.
This is a restaurant we visit every time we travel to Huntsville and we will be back.

So if you like comfort food, you must give Walton's Southern Table a try. The food is absolutely delicious and reminds you of food you find at granny's house. The staff was friendly and we were seated promptly. Our waitress, call her G, was knowledgeable about the different menu selections. She recommended some of her favorites and our party was not disappointed. The orders were filled quickly and the food was piping hot and delectable. Try Walton's if you're up for a home cooked meal.

The manager Benjamin G. Was an EXCELLENT manager, and a great person to interact with. There was a small issue with my order, and Benjamin was speedy quick to fix that and had amazing customer service while doing so. This worker does NOT need to leave, and Walton’s southern table would not offer the same experience if he did depart. I would highly recommend, and will be back soon!

Really good southern cooking. Great portions that don't break the bank. Service has always been very good as well. Had the country fried steak, and it's probably one of the best around. All the other food looks good. Steamed cabbage tasted surprisingly good. Sweet potato casserole was kinda meh but didn't detract from the meal.

First Time Eating @ Walton's Southern Table. It's a nice place. Love the food. They have all our favorites! Kinda put me in the mind of Craker Barrel. Our waitress was/is very kind. She saw my husband was having a hard time choosing between a biscuit or cornbread so she offered him both. My kids enjoyed their chicken. We weren't offered a high chair for our 2yr old. Not sure if they have them or not, we didn't ask.

Went with my family for lunch and was seated immediately! Service was excellent and so was the food and atmosphere. My family all really enjoyed their food (entrees ordered were catfish, pot roast, and chicken and dumplings). I find the prices very fair for how much food you get. We got pie at the end for dessert and that was excellent as well! Highly recommend for southern food.

The moment I found out we would be visiting Alabama (and the southern states) for the first time, all I could think about what the fantastic southern food people always rave about. I'm so glad we stopped at Walton's. Our party of 5 all ordered a variety of items off the menu and we were not disappointed. It was all delicious.

Our 6 year old said he had never ever had a Mac and Cheese so delicious!

Our waiter was great! Made sure we were well taken care of, made recommendations, made sure we got the best deal. And we definitely did. When we got the bill I couldn't believe we had so much food and the bill was half of what I would have paid at a Chicago "southern food" restaurant.

Will definitely be stopping here again if we find ourselves back in Huntsville.

I enjoy this restaurant, my husband and in-law disagree but I think the speedy service, low prices, and good food make it a great choice for a meal out. Not many options overall, but enough to fit many tastebuds. And they serve fast! Within 15 minutes of ordering. Tons of veggie sides if that's your thing!

I went here with my son and my fiance for dinner the first time. I love the menu and the great affordable prices.The atmosphere is wonderful. It has easily just become my new favorite restaurant. I wasn't sure about the salmon patties so I let my son order them I tried them. I know next time I will be getting them they were so good!!!

If you’re in a mood for comfort food then you need to eat at Walton’s Southern Table! I ordered the meatloaf with hash brown casserole, Mac & cheese and mashed potatoes and it was delicious. The server had great customer service and made sure everything was good.

Next time I’m at the Huntsville area, I will come back to Walton’s Southern Table.

My first time trying this place out and it was absolutely amazing. The staff was wonderful and my food was ready in a timely manner. I ordered the chicken and dressing with Lima beans, cabbage and chicken and dumplings. Everything was perfect. I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this place 👍🏾

You should come here and ask for "G". She was just great with her recommendations as well as quick service. The food here was very reasonably priced and portions were very large. The restaurant is very clean as well as the restrooms. This is a must stop if you or around Huntsville, Alabama. We were very satisified.

Absolutely loved every time that I have visited this establishment. From the food to the service is excellent. 10/10 will visit again.

Great place to eat. We have been there several times and have never been disappointed. I believe their fried catfish is the best in Madison county, all the sides are very good. The pot roast is my wife’s favorite. Waltons is far and above Cracker Barrel in my opinion.

Came in and was sat immediately, ordered our food and it came out in less than 10 minutes. Food was so good! The restaurant was clean, staff was attentive and exceptional, quiet, nice lighting. No complaints!

This place is wonderful. From the beautiful, comfortable and airy dining areas, to every member of staff we encountered. The food is soooooo GOOD. Pot roast and veggies were tender and seasoned to perfection. The chicken was hot, crispy and delicious. The turnip greens (and they had the clear pepper sauce to add) brought back happy childhood memories. I can’t wait to return.
