When we sat down, we was told the kitchen was running a little bit behind and if we hungry to order an appetizer. We ordered the brussel sprouts, and they were so yummy. For our meal, we ordered the salmon and ribs, and they were cooked to perfection and were so delicious! Our dinner came out faster than we were told. We sat outside an ate and were able to watch football and enjoy our dinner. We will definitely be back😁

Lets start with what a fantastic server Logan was! We lacked for absolutely nothing, he had a great personality & he made sure everything was perfect & even corrected the small “issue” we had.

I ordered the Pineapple Upside down Cocktail
Pineapple Vodka, Vanilla vodka, Sour Mix, and Pinepple Juice Shaken and layer with a touch of Grenadine $7.00 (this is where the “issue” was).

I did not like this at all! It had an odd taste to it that I just didn’t care for. I explained this to Logan & he apologized & said he’d get me something else.
I ordered the Воozy Whip Pineapple, Pineapple Vodka, Pineapple Puree' (I didn’t get the price & it wasn’t on the menu). This was much better!

We ordered appetizers & they were huge! If we would’ve known this we probably wouldn’t have ordered an entree.. But we did! lol

We got the FRIED CHEESE
CURDS I $12 Small white cheese curds covered in our handmade batter and fried to a golden rown. *Served with ranch or marinara. And the

COOP CAKES* | $11
Handmade Potato Cakes, deep fried and topped with bacon bits, cheddar cheese, and chives. *Served with ranch and sour cream.

The only small “complaint” I had with the appetizers was that it wasn’t served with marinara. I was told they didn’t have any when I asked, I don’t care for ranch. Luckily we had leftovers so the next day I had them at home with marinara.

For our entrees I ordered the CHICKEN AND SHRIMP PASTA served with linguini noodles covered in a Alfredo sauce and topped with your choice of grilled chicken, shrimp or both; served with garlic bread stick.
Chicken $17, Shrimp $19, Chicken and Shrimp $21
Ok now for this one I wasn’t overly happy with. There was absolutely NO seasoning on this & just three shrimp. For $21 I would’ve like a couple more shrimp & some type of seasoning. This also went home where I “doctored” it up & added some flavoring to it for lunch the next day.

My friend ordered the Braised Short Ribs over parmesan herb risotto & broccoli (I didn’t get the price of this) & she ordered a side of crispy brussel sprouts $4.00

Hers was definitely better than mine! The ribs were tender & seasoned perfectly. Neither one of us cared for the risotto. And the brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly. She added a side of balsamic vinegar to it which made it even better!

They had a live band on the other side that night which was really good as well.

Overall everything was worth coming back again to try something different.

I have been wanting to try the Steel Coop and finally go to chance today. I was seated immediately, Staff were very attentive, told me about the daily specials and the drinks and quickly brought my drink. It was hard to choose because everything sounded so great on the menu! Is started with the spinach dip which was super hot, covered in yummy melty cheese. Maybe needed a little more salt but overall really good. The fresh tortilla chips it was served with were great also, crispy and tasty. I also ordered the meatloaf hoagie which was Moist and tender, The fried green tomatoes on the sandwich were a great addition. I don't usually like chips when I order a sandwich at a restaurant but there, fresh cajun chips were really good. Portions really huge on everything! I ate till I was stuffed and still had 2 takeout boxes full of leftovers! Inside is very clean and modern, With a really big bar on one side and a huge outdoor patio. Parking right up at the building and there was plenty of it. I can't wait to take friends and family to check it out, and to try some of their other menu items.

Found Steel Coop via a Google search of open restaurants on a Sunday evening in the area! Was so glad Google directed us here! Good food. Pleasant atmosphere. Clean bathrooms. Attentive staff. Will be back when in the area again! Highly recommend

The best restaurant in Tn. The food is awesome, especially. The ribs are finger linking good,they have the best mix drinks in the whole Tn. I ever try, and the best part is a happy hour after 3 pm. on the weekend 🤯 the service they're phenomenal, and the atmosphere is awesome they have a patio and life music in the restaurant.🤩

Cant say enough about how great this place is.
The food was so fantastic, very good quality, tasted delicious and all prepared perfectly. The prices are definitely reasonable and worth it for what you get.
Staff and service are also top notch, friendly and fast and to top it all off they had some great tunes playing inside and out on the patio.
Anyone in the area should definitely come try eating at the Steel Coop!

First time visitors and what a wonderful experience. Large seating capacity but still a comfortable setting. The food was amazing as we had the grilled salmon and the pulled pork. Large quantities and the specialty vegetables like grilled brussel sprouts and asparagus were quite delicious. You must try the fried cheesecake for dessert. The wait staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. All in all a great experience

We were visiting friends who live in Tennessee and they suggested The Steel Coop, or just the Coop. I've visited before, but not since the new renovation. It looks amazing. The lights and added wood trim give it that classic big city downtown feel in a humble town setting. The food, drinks and ambiance are fantastic. The owner was very personable and the servers attentive. I suggest this be a must stop destination on your travels.

Great little restaurant tucked away in Livingston,TN..we just had dessert , but plan to go back for dinner! Great service, sweetest waitress and the dessert was a total win!! The fried cheesecake was absolutely amazing and so unique!! We didn't leave a crumb behind. The hale of a cookie was served hot with ice cream and it melted in my mouth,,,I would 100% eat here again and eat both desserts again!!

Decided to stop and eat in Livingston, very happy with our choice. Just wanted a quick bite, so didn't order an extensive list of foods, but the fried cheese curds and smoked wings (honey Sriracha) were incredible! Friendly hostess and waitress, would definitely go back if I pass through the area again.

We had a group of ten. Karah was our waitress and the service was outstanding! She checked on us continuously to see if we needed anything. The food was phenomenal! We’ll definitely return!

Phenomenal food! Spinach dip was fresh and flavorful. Best ribs I've had in the area. They melt in your mouth and fall off the bone. Cocktails were also fantastic. Will absolutely be back!

This was our first time at this restaurant. Starting with our server Sydney, it was off to an awesome start. She was attentive, friendly, and willing to share recommendations on the menu. We had the burger steak which was tender melt in your mouth and cooked perfectly. The bed of mash potatoes were buttery and creamy. The mushrooms and onion gravy topping it was to die for. The Asparagus was seasoned and cooked perfectly with a slight bite. The butter cake was the perfect desert to top off the evening. Definitely will be coming again! The atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. This is definitely in my list of favorite places in the area. You can't go wrong with any item on the menu. It is slightly upscale...but worth every penny.

Amazing food and service! If you stop in, ask for Sidney, she was a wonderful server. Salmon cooked perfectly, the brussel sprout appetizer is sooo yummy! Friend had drinks from the bar and said the bartender was spot on. Would definitely go to this place again! We’re not from the area but will definitely go again when we come back!

I think its the best pulled pork I've ever had. Everything was great. If you are ever somewhere close to livingston you need to stop in here. Forget rhe chain restaurants.

You have to have the crispy Brussel sprouts. Sirloin was well flavored and cooked perfectly. My wife had the Salmon and loved that. Service was great even though they were short staffed this day.

We really enjoyed this restaurant and the food we ordered. It was very cold on the day of our visit so the garage doors were closed otherwise it would have been great to have the outdoors blending with the interior.

Staff was friendly, helpful & knowledgeable about the menu and service was fantastic! Bread & rolls were fresh and delicious, food was hot, and it came out perfect. Can't wait to go again!

Excellent meal tonight, good drinks and beer! Fabulous desert. This is a great place to meet and eat.
