Oriental Super Mart

Finally checked out Oriental Super Mart and it’s definitely now my go shop for Korean food and cooking ingredients. Plus they have homemade kimchi! Traditional napa kimchi, radish kimchi, tofu kimchi, turnip kimchi (pictured). The lady (owner I believe) asked me if I liked fresh or older for my kimchi, and I told her fresh. I’m honestly gonna try both haha. She then goes to the back to get me a fresh batch! That was so sweet. They have a ton of other homemade foods too. There’s a great assortment of drinks, snacks, noodles, and fish. They also had the frying mix I’ve been looking for so I can try to make Korean Fried Chicken. So if you are mainly looking for Korean food, THIS is the place. Thank you for your wonderful store and kindness. Will be back soon!

My wife first tried kimchi (Napa cabbage) but she liked Turnip (moo) Kimchi..
Now she loves all Kimchi (favorite still turnip) and she also ask store for extra fermented ones 😄

The kimchi here are best in Town, hand made by store with unique kimchi recipe.

Also Kimchi made at store are not made too spicy for everyone to enjoy.
Try turnip if trying for it’s you’re first time.

I love this store, people are so friendly and helpful. I love the choices you have in the store. I shop there for lumpia wrappers and other stuff the prices are very good. Must go there and shop it is a great place.

I was told to go here for kimchi. And I'm so glad I did. The store was clean and had a good selection. This was the best kimchi I've had in East Tennessee. I'll be coming back for more. I'm grateful to have found them. They had regular kimchi but also radish kimchi. Nice and crunchy.😌

I've been coming to this store for about 23 years. It's always clean and well stocked. I love the kimchi and other homemade foods that are in the coolers. They are family owned and operated and are always friendly and helpful. They are sticky with many items you can't find elsewhere. I do wish they would copy one of their own recipes containing a list of the items that could be purchased in store. That would be interesting and fun

The kimchi is phenomenal!! It is a staple in our home and I eat it with just about every meal. I'm actually eating some right now as I write this LOL. The owner is extremely sweet and was kind enough to accommodate to my mother's allergy. The snack, drink, and tea selection...amazing. My family absolutely loves this place!! Any rude reviews MUST have been having a rough day or must not understand language or technology barriers because there is NOTHING bad about this place!!

My family and I love coming and supporting this small business. They have just the right ingredients for us at home to make ethnic food! The price, store, location and selection is all great and authentic! I love coming here and hope they stay forever! I recommend this place to anyone who loves cooking Asian food.

Curious little shop with a variety of foods, trinkets, frozen items, and utensils! Fair priced and wonderful customer service.
Edit: Any seasonings, soup base, sauce, toppings, or powders can be found here! So convenient and very well organized!
Aisles are, however, too small for a wheelchair though...

Came for enoki mushrooms one day, saw some homemade kimchi in their fridge, now I always come back for their kimchi. It seriously is the BEST KIMCHI in town. I will never get it from anywhere else!!

Excellent variety and decent prices. I have been going there for years and they have never been rude to me. To those of you complaining about the minimum purchase amount to use your bank card you need to realize that small businesses do not do the volume of credit card transactions that larger places do. Each transaction costs about 50 cents to process. So if you are buying less than $5 or $10 and trying to pay with a card they don't make a profit. Businesses aren't in business to NOT make a profit. So suck it up and either use cash or get the minimum amount to use your card.
