Whenever I come to Charlotte I always stop in. Great selection of orginal R&B and jazz. Solid collection of hip-hop, rock and roll, and movie titles. Some brand new records as well. Worth the trip.

Fantastic record store with a TON of musical options. Friendly and knowledgeable owner. Great prices. A must-visit if you're in the area. I scored some awesome reggae, R&B, and soul albums.

I go here all time! Mr Walt is extremely funny and helpful and I love that he always remembers customers. There have been times where he'll even set aside vinyls for me if he sees its from an artist I buy a lot of. He also sell cassettes and cds as well if that what you're interested in.

I visit this store quite often seeming as how its just right down the road. Every time I walk in that store Mr. Gibson is smiling and ready to help you find exactly what it is you're looking for. Definitely a place i recommend for people who love listening to music the old school way! Again very friendly customer service!

Now this is what a record store should be like. The selection is very good, but the real reason to come here is the large assortment of records you haven't heard of. This is a great place to spend an hour or so rummaging around through the collection to discover hidden gems. Pricing is extremely budget-friendly as well: I once picked up a like-new record for $5. Even famous records like Stevie Wonder's Innervisions in very good condition are priced from $12 to $15, which is better than you'll find at any Barnes & Noble. One final bonus: the owner, if you are fortunate enough to encounter him, is friendly and knowledgeable.

Jampac is a time machine in the best way possible. A great place to dig for OG pressings from the 60s and 70s. If you're looking for newer stuff, this isn't the place. You'll find a great selection of classic pop/rock/r&b/jazz/soul, all really well priced. If you're looking for late 80s new-wave/punk/metal, this isn't the place. If you need something specific, I get the idea Walt has a mental catalog of everything in there even though it is all quite literally Jam-packed.

I love Walt, the owner, very kind man. Good selection of music in many formats and usually a little less than you will find elsewhere. He does that way on purpose.

Jampac is truly a hidden gem when it comes to finding good quality used vinyl at very reasonable prices. They have an amazing selection, and I could spend hours there looking through all they have available without regretting my time. I have purchased over 20 albums at Jampac and can tell that the owner takes great pride in the quality level of what he sells. This customer is 100% satisfied. It's absolutely worth the drive from Charlotte!

Someone else said this is a hidden gem and I agree. Record are graded by quality and price. But don't overlook the dollar racks. There are some real gems hidden in there. The inventory changes almost daily, so if you're into old vinyl, this needs to be a recurring visit.

The man that runs this place is very nice and helpful. Great record selection and groovy spot! I easily spent 2.5 hours here the first time I went even though it's a relatively small shop.

This place a pretty cool has a little bit of everything. The guy working was really nice and helpful. If you see something on discogs call before you go to see if they still have it. Some times they'll sell something in store and it won't get taken off the discogs store. But other than that it was great!
