I gave birth to my daughter here a few weeks ago. Sibley staff treated me so well and were all so caring. Special shoutout to my L&D nurse, Lana. From the moment I arrived to triage, she answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable. I’m so very thankful to have had her. My postpartum care and nurses were also great. They were thorough, responsive, and very kind. Food was great, especially for a hospital. Staff came to clean and restock everyday. I’ve been healing great and haven’t experienced any complications since. Thank you Sibley for a beautiful experience.

The environment here is very good. Every staff member is very enthusiastic and patient. My little baby was born here. I am very happy to meet the professional team here. Although there will not be too many such experiences in life, but With such a small chance that you can meet such a good team, it means that the staff here are of a standard at all times! My wife has always been in the maternity department at Georgetown University Hospital, but at that time there was an emergency, there were no beds there, so I was forced to transfer here, so we were not familiar with this place from the beginning, but the quality of medical care here is still impressive. I am very satisfied and amazed! Thank you to all the medical staff who serve us, as well as our chief surgeon, Dr. Green!

I recently gave birth here and couldn't be more thankful for such a great team of doctors, nurses, clinicians, specialists, and hospital staff!!! We had some scary complications but everyone was amazing and we have a healthy baby girl thanks to them. The L&D and postpartum rooms are comfortable and fairly spacious, and the food is better than you'd expect for a hospital!! Shoutout to L&D nurse Elena especially for being with us for basically her whole shift and being so supportive and encouraging 💖

I had an outpatient surgical procedure at Sibley and while this was my first surgery ever and therefore I don't have much else to compare it to--I couldn't have asked for a better first surgery experience. All of the practitioners I interacted with, including my surgeon and the anesthesiologist, explained everything thoroughly, and the various nurses who were with me during pre-op, OR, and post-op/recovery were so kind and helpful. (Shout-out to Belinda, Cat, and Katie! And I'm sorry that the names of the OR nurse and nurse anesthetist have totally escaped me!) My family members who were waiting during my surgery also found the waiting room very comfortable and my mother felt informed and reassured by the status board that displayed progress by patient number and the periodic text updates she got letting her know that my surgery was going well. (My mother *has* had several surgeries at other hospitals and remarked how nice Sibley was and how efficient their processes were.)

After a terrible experience in Georgetown University Hospital, the staff at Sibley Memorial was not only efficient and knowledgeable about my situation, but also caring, respectful and friendly. The doctors were amazing keeping the communication open and the nurses in this place are a wonderful team. From Soyoung to Charlita, they all made me feel more comfortable and positive about my recovery. THANKS!

I decided to have a hip procedure here, not knowing anything about SMH beforehand. It's nearly 30 miles from home, but I'm glad that I chose this hospital for my surgery.

Everyone I met from security to the nurses to the doctors were pleasant, compassionate, and knowledgeable.

Before surgery, a nurse gave me warmed towelettes to sanitize my body and then wrapped me in warmed blankets. This was so comforting given the fact that I was about to have my first surgery.

The premises were spotless; I've never seen such a clean and tidy hospital.

I cannot imagine a better hospital. Staff, systems, everything is great from my point of view: smart, responsive, courteous, kind. I notice that staff are respectful of each other. In 10 days I only saw one person being mean to visitors. That seems like a very good sign.

The Staff at Sibley were literally top tier!

Claudia Peng was absolutely amazing before and during labor. She encouraged me and made me feel so safe and strong even when I doubted myself!

Imani thank you ! You made sure I was straight the entire time even when I came back after having high blood pressure days after leaving.

Marie-Sophie, you're literally golden. Thank you for taking such great care of me.

Sofia in Postpartum, thank you for all your help during my stay.

I wish I can remember every one's name but Lisa, and the rest of the nurses who made sure I was okay from beginning to end - thank you !

Last but surely not least, Dr BECKERMAN of FOXHALL OBGYN, you came in and stole the show and delivered my beautiful baby. Thank you for the laughs and making me feel sure of myself. I could not have had a more beautiful birthing experience.

If you are pregnant or gonna get pregnant I highly recommend Sibley Memorial Labor and Delivery!

If you were shooting a movie and needed a fancy looking hospital to film at, Sibley would be your choice. Most of the hospital is beautifully updated. There are lounges, cafes, vegan bar, grand piano, waterfalls, ponds - aesthetically pleasing wherever you look. The staff, doctors and nurses are all great as well. Parking is $6 for 2 hours, $9 for 3 hours and up to $12 for 24 hours I think.

I had a great experience at Sibley Hospital. Dr. Zryan Shwani (my Physician on the 7 floor), Dr. Jung (my surgeon), Dr. Nadia Eltaki (in the Emergency Room), and all the nurses' teams, and personnel from the administrative department that I was in contact with. All of them went above and beyond to make sure I was good. They are very professional and they have a true vocation for service and help. They are great, Thank you !

Recently, I had two experiences with Sibley Hospital: one was preparation for surgery and a surgical procedure, and the other, was bringing my father after he received subpar care at another medical facility. Both times, I was extremely impressed with the care: the facilities, the procedues, the nurses, the overall comfort of the room. My room was so quiet and comfortable that I could actually begin to recover in peace. I did not feel the need to rush from the hospital because I did indeed felt like I have privacy and dignity while I recovered in those first few days. I was extremely comfortable which started my road to recovery on a strong start. Sibley will be my go-to from here on.

Sibley is a good hospital OVERALL, FAST . If I have to go, it's early in the morning. I will suffer with whatever pain that I have to take the wee hours. The nurses and transporters are exceptionally amazing personalities. A few female doctors that I came across their bedside manners across the board! The one thing is I'm an epileptic ( seizures), and I was admitted. I have a specific time that I take my medicine , and they wanted to give it to me at 9 pm. If I take my medicinethe same time every day, please deprive me of my tim.. And I seized. Because you have to be very careful with epilepsy. 💜

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at an emergency room. But still very worthy of 5 stars. I was in at 9:30a. They drew blood at 10:15a. I didn’t get into a room until about 4p. I watched literally every person in the lobby get called back before me. By the time I go in a room. There were no familiar faces. A supervisor came out around 3:15. And I explained to her what I came for. And how long I had been waiting. She assured me she would look into it. And about 45 min later, I had a room. Once in the room. The nurses jumps into action. I got my cat scan. Nothing unusual. And they did what they needed to do. Once complete. I did have to wait an unusually long time for my discharge papers. But when I asked what was going on, I was out within 10 minutes. The staff was very overwhelmed but the people, the attitudes, the trash talking. But nobody lost patience. Everyone did the best they could. And even though it took a while. I left happy and satisfied with how the day was spent. Kudos to the entire ER staff at SMH!

Thank you!

I had the best e.r experience here thanks to CELINA, MJ, ROY, MOO AND LEONARD! Everyone made me feel like home; even offered me heated blankets to keep warm and cozy while waiting bc the e.r tends to be cold but everyone here is warm and friendly and that makes all the difference! 🙏🏾

Thank You JACK! You saw I needed extra help and went above and beyond to make sure I was good. Most people would not help the way you did. I know you exceeded the typical routine and helped me out of the kindness of your heart! We need people ppl like you in this world!

This hospital is beautiful! Although the ER wait time to get a room was a little long, everything else was worth it. My dad was a cancer patient here and stayed for 2 weeks before being transferred to a hospice center. The food is delicious! I stayed every night for 2 weeks and they never had an issue with it! The doctors that worked with my dad were absolutely great! They listened to everything he had to say and WANTED to make him feel better no matter how much time it would take. All the doctors were friendly, caring, upfront and treated you like we were royalty! The nurses.. WOW! I've never met a group of nurses who truly care about their patients. Sophie, Mary, Lola, Maddie, and Gracie are a dream team to have! These women truly are angels! You can see they love their job and taking care of the patient to all extremes! They made my dad feel so safe during his stay. We can't rave enough about them but they deserve to be recognized for how amazing they are! We had a great experience here! Not all hospitals will be perfect, and wait times are normal, but to find a group of doctors, nurses and great food.. now that's hard to come by! Thank you all for everything you did for my dad and our family!

Dislocated my finger in the mountains two days prior. Came in to get it put back in joint with no wait Saturday evening. Because of the time it was out of the joint it took them an hour to get it back in but they didn't give up on me. They were awesome! Cheerful, kind, caring, knowledgeable, creative, team players, and professional. I can't say enough!
