Right from the start, the aroma of freshly baked bagels and pastries warmly greeted me, setting the stage for a truly appetizing experience. The array of bagels available was impressive – from classic plain and everything bagels to more unique flavors. Each one was perfectly baked, boasting a crisp exterior and a wonderfully chewy interior, just like a traditional New York-style bagel should be.

But Royal Bagel Bakery & Deli isn't just about bagels. Their deli offerings are equally outstanding, featuring a variety of sandwiches, salads, and spreads that are made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The lox sandwich I tried was exceptional, with the perfect combination of flavors and textures.

Very good breakfast sandwich 👌🏻 My son had a BLT which was also delicious. The employees were welcoming, friendly and funny you could tell they all enjoy working together. The atmosphere was pleasant. A very “at home” feel to it. My family and I are already making plans on going again after this first experience.

We spotted this from the road and decided to give it a try. Quick service. Everyone was ready to take our order. Lots of pastries and bagels options and they all looked delicious and huge. We tried a plain bagel with butter (perfectly toasted) and an egg, cheese, and ham on a croissant. Both absolutely delicious. Iced Vanilla Chai Latte was fantastic as well. Can't wait to come back!

They can do customize cake and it looks amazing!!! 💕Better than all other bakeries I went before. highly recommend!!!

Great food, good prices, wild long hours, polite workers. I love this place. My only note is make sure to stress you want your bagel well toasted because it feels like every time you get a bagel it’s barely toasted. I know they just want to streamline their output which I get but man, I want a bagel that looks like it sat in the toaster for more than a minute.

Also there are no gluten free bread options which was a bummer when I tried to introduce the place to a visiting family member who has allergies.

I still suggest this place to everyone who visits. Totally worth the visit.

One of my favorite places to go for donuts and treats! The staff is polite. The food is fresh. My favorite cinnamon crunch donut! Their treats are great prices for their size. You will have to share your treat because it is bigger than one serving size! I bought extra to take to friends!!

This is a great hidden gem. They're a bakery disguised as a bagel store.

Yes, great bagels and plenty of fresh selections daily, and all of the selections of cream cheeses, lox, and other accompaniments, but that's only a small percentage of the goodies you can find there.

While they don't claim it, they're very reminiscent, if not directly founded on, Italian baked goods, to include all of the varieties of cookies and cakes you would expect to see in an Italian bakery.

As an added bonus, they always carry holiday themed baked goods, like pies for Thanksgiving or cookie arrangements for Christmas.

We had a lot of cooking going on this year for Thanksgiving and just didn't have the bandwidth for making a fresh pumpkin pie. I stopped at Wegmans for some last minute supplies and was going to grab a pumpkin pie, when I noticed that two of them appeared to be freezer burnt (I have pics if you want to see, it wasn't very appetizing looking), so I thought we were just going to have to cram in making our own (they're not that complicated to make), so I picked up the ingredients and headed over to buy bagels.

I was pleasantly surprised to see a variety of pies for sale and just happened to grab the last pumpkin pie. Wow, great flavor and it's one of the first pies that got completely eaten before starting to get moldy from sitting on the counter too long. Not this pie, it had great seasoning and spice, texture, and it was made fresh. We'll definitely opt for a Royal Bagel Bakery & Deli pie in the future (and a dozen bagels).

The German Chocolate bomb was almost entirely pecan frosting. With the fresh-ish decaf coffee on a rainy Monday night near closing - it was amazing.
The iced, small sugar cookies were stale but the unfrosted were fresh. The $5 iced sugar cookie was good but $5 for one cookie is a bit much.
Parking out front and loud 80's music with cafeteria style dine in tables were great.

I love coming here and getting a bagel and some coffee from time to time. When friends come into town I take them here and they usually have a positive experience too and get a sweet treat. You truly can't beat the prices!

Wife and I have been going here for years. We usually get bagel sandwiches. Generous portions. Big selection of pastries.

ATTENTION MY NEW YORKER'S!!! We have finally found the closest thing to a NY deli/Bagels in MOCO.

They have breakfast sandwiches( pretty good, only minus is it's not a fried egg or real scramble eggs).

The bagels are on point!! Great selection too.

I LOVE their bagels and different flavors of cream cheese. I always get everything bagels and onion bagels for my family along with lox cream cheese and scallion cream cheese. I recently also purchased their scallion and tomato cream cheese and my family seems to enjoy it. They also have huge, delicious, flaky croissants! The croissants do go quickly so if you want some, you need to go earlier in the day.

Top quality, though a bit pricy! As a New Jersey native, I'm very satisfied with these bagels! All the stafr are always welcoming.

This is my go to place for a croissant breakfast sandwich. They serve breakfast sandwiches all day! Unlike the genetically modified croissants you find at Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks, these croissants are fresh.

Crowded when we went in the early afternoon. Large selection. Place was very busy but the line moves quickly. Ruben sandwich was good. The bottom was a little soggy. Will go again.

This is a wonderful bakery for fresh bagels and donuts with breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches and all sorts of wonderful baked goods! The dining area is rather small.

Awesome place! I’ve been going here since I was young, and I’ve always really enjoyed it! My favorite thing to get is easily sausage, egg & cheese on an everything bagel. They also have really good pastries and sweets. The lines can get really long, but typically the line moves quickly because the staff works efficiently. The staff are also very friendly which is nice. I’d suggest taking your food to go from here because the seating tends to be limited during a breakfast rush.

Delicious local bakery! I'm so happy I found this place. The lattes are quite good; not too sweet, not too bitter, just the perfect amount of creaminess. My favorite items I've tried so far are the strawberry shortcake and the toasted everything bagel with cream cheese. The selection of baked goods is tantalizingly on display.

My partner took me here as a walk down memory lane to eat the turkey club sandwich since this was one of his favorite spots to eat during high school over 20 years ago. Let me tell you, this sandwich was super solid and also quite huge (we inhaled it) and got some coffee. If I make it back into Germantown, I'll definitely be back to try one of those bagels and schmear from one of those amazing looking mountains of flavored cream cheese!
