Kim's Family Restaurant

A down-home diner a very friendly staff. The waitress greeted me, gave me her name, and asked mine. When I left, she said goodbye using my name. I had biscuits and gravy. The gravy was great, but the biscuits were a bit tough for my tastes. Eggs were done perfectly.

Currently waiting for food. I can tell it’s going to be fire. 🔥 aka I’m not Carl. This is a great place. Updated review the best biscuits and gravy and breakfast I’ve ever had even after bringing her back to the hotel.

My first visit, eating in. I am local. I was seated by the front door. And I observed so much warm greetings to everyone. It was evident there are REGULARS and first-name basis is common. The food will meet your expectations....the only place to get my CRISPY hashbrowns right. This place is a gem.

Found this great place a few weeks ago. This is our 4th time back! Great omelets, the best lemon chicken soup that we've found. Very reasonable prices, friendly staff. A nice welcoming place for a good meal.

Food is excellent. Owner always pleasant and has a friendly atmosphere. Everyone gets to know you on a first name basis. We go there often. My husband loves their home fries.

My goodness, what a fantastic find! I had the BEST breakfast this morning at Kim's and I am not kidding you. Yes, I was hungry, had been fasting for an early morning lab draw, but even so, this was an amazing breakfast.

I needed coffee, first of all, and this was good, dark coffee. I ordered the Greek gyro with home fries (crisp) and a biscuit. When my waitress (I did not get her name, but everyone was so pleasant) brought the plate, I about fell out of the booth seeing all the food. The omelette draped off the plate on BOTH SIDES! I could not even see the plate, come to think of it. And this wasn't just a lot of food, it was a lot of hot, freshly-made, good-tasting food.

Then came the bill. I thought my waitress had made a mistake, it was so low. They must not have gotten the memo about upping their prices because this was like a step back in time. Actually, that was the case all the way around - good food, good prices, regulars who seemed to have known each other for years. Yeah, I'll be back, too.

As an advocate for Mom & Pop spots, Kim's is a place worth visiting. This quaint location seems industrial from the outside, but the inside is full of love. The staff were very friendly, each of them offering warm greetings and smiles. Even the owner, Kim is hands on, showing her dedication to quality service.
The food was delicious! I ordered breakfast: veggie scramble with mushrooms, spinach, and pepper jack cheese added, side of grits and wheat toast, and an orange juice. I liked that you can taste the ingredients' freshness. The flavors were balanced yet fulfilling; nothing too plain nor too salty or buttery - though they offer any extra topping you could need. (There's like 5 hotsauce options!)

My first experience here was a lasting one, and I'm excited to try the lunch menu next. Thanks Kim and all the staff for adding tasty happiness to my vacation!

Ordered chicken taco bowl and potato soup... most people would automatically start off about quantity.. I will start with quality..which is a 100%.. chicken tasted so good...fresh, tender and seasoned with great flavor.. the taco bowl was very crispy and light in texture and flavor as well..as for the potato soup... I enjoyed to the taste and texture of the potatoes were just right.. nice smooth flavor as well and very filling.
Quanity more than enough... I couldn't finish my order...thats how filling the portions were... will I be back.. I sure will as well recommend Kim's to anyone who wants to sit down to fresh home cooking.. Bravo

This is a great little restaurant in a funky little building. You will probably pass it and if you do turn around and go back. It's very good, home cooked cuisine. If you live in the or are coming in from out of town you should check it out.

As far as I am concerned there is no better place in Pinellas County to eat out. Kim's is personal service and food home cooked to order, YOUR WAY. Prices are very reasonable and Fresh. Service is a greeting at the door when you enter and a friendly goodbye when you leave this little hidden restaurant is the best. Try it once and you will be back regularly, as we are. Thank You Kim and to the cook and all the other friendly and helpful staff. 😋

Kim’s Restaurant was everything we hoped for for breakfast - delicious food at normal prices, truly good coffee and pleasant attentive service. I can’t wait to be hungry again!!

Very clean well maintained. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food was very good with large portions and quickly served. Definitely a "locals" spot where everyone seems welcome. Open for breakfast and lunch.

Everything was cooked to perfection, specially the bacon, you can tell they take their time to cook everything just right rather than the typical "slap it on the grill then send it!"

A hidden jewel in the Largo/Seminole area. Had breakfast there this last weekend and the service and food were above what I expected to find. Probably the best eggs benedict I have come across, and this is my go-to breakfast when eating out. The service was fantastic and you could tell the crowd was mostly regulars, always a good sign. I look forward to going back.

Very good breakfast had the Grand slam Brittney was my server and excellent speedy server I recommend to anyone that wants a good breakfast but be patient it does draw a crowd

I had the turkey club wrap. It was delicious! Service was outstanding.

We've driven by here for years. I'm so happy we finally stopped. Outside isn't great, but inside is clean & welcoming. Staff couldn't be friendlier and food in wonderful. We are now there at least once a week & have loved everything we have ordered. Breakfasts are great & soups wonderful. Thank you Kim & staff.
