Lu Lu's Ice Cream and Candy Shop

We walked over to get ice cream at Lu Lu’s this afternoon, but the place looked closed; but Lu Lu just happened to be in her car getting ready to leave when she saw us and got out and let us in and served us anyway! What an awesome person she was…so friendly and inviting. The homemade ice cream was delicious…we had carrot cake and black raspberry!! (So yummy!)

Enjoyed this hole in the wall ice cream spot next to the condo we were staying in. Super fun energy with the music and the decor. Ordered the espresso fudge in a cup and vanilla bean in a cone. Really tasty and perfect to level off the heat.

made from a 200 year old family recipe.

The store is decorated with adorable vintage finds
sprinkled throughout the store.

The owners were extremely friendly and kind to us.

First time here but not the last. The most charming place with the sweetest owner. Most importantly, the ice cream is delicious!!! Unique flavors. We were able to sample several and had a hard time choosing. The vanilla bean, tangerine sorbet, toasted coconut and coffee marshmellow were awesome! Loved everything about this visit

My husband and I stopped in tonight to Lu Lu's Ice Cream. I knew their ice cream was homemade and they had great Google reviews which is why I planned to check it out. Jess (hope I remembered that right 😉) was super pleasant, gave us recommendations and allowed us to try some samples. We each selected the blueberry cheesecake as well as the black raspberry flavors. They both were delicious! The owner Paul asked us how we liked everything and what we ordered. He was very personable and offered a couple of samples of new and popular flavors. Every sample that I tried was great! I get the impression that stellar customer service is very important to their business which is exceedingly rare these days. I highly recommend a visit!

I'd give this place 100 stars if I could! Nicest owners!!! You can tell they really love what they do. They have quite a few flavors to chose from and they all sounded amazing! They just pulled out some fresh cinnamon rolls and we had to grab a couple for later. Even with our masks on it smelled amazing in there. This shop is so cute and quaint. I got the espresso fudge in a waffle bowl and my husband got blue raspberry chip in a waffle bowl. They were both delicious and creamy! Plus, the portions are very generous! I couldn't even eat half of mine. The blue raspberry chip reminded me of superman ice cream (we're from Michigan). Candy, toys, ice cream, cinnamon rolls and the sweetest owners on the planet make for a great experience! Not a lot of parking, but we were staying close by and could walk there. They also offer some outdoor seating. We will definitely make this a regular stop for us whenever we're in the area. It's definitely worth a try!

Delicious milkshakes! Ran by the nicest owners. This place is truly a treat. If you are in the area make sure to visit. It was so good definitely made with love and the shop is so cute. Has a lot of candy and ice cream options. Can't wait to go again!

I went with a large group and the ice cream was really good and the store itself was neat. I think the best part was the young person working. I don’t remember their name but I wish I did. He was in their dancing to the music, encourage people to ask for samples and listening to what our group was saying to offer them a sample he thought they’d like. He even got a few of us to dance as well. Truly a fun experience to cap off our vacation.

The shop is so charming & gives you a sense of nostalgia. Ethan was a sweetheart & was very helpful in choosing a gelato flavor. If you get a chance try the Lulu's namesake flavor, it was very unique & hit the spot!

Went to LuLu’s and it did not disappoint. Had the pleasure of being served by the queen herself and she was so sweet and nice! We were able to sample the flavors and they were all soooooo good. I got Carrot 🥕 Cake 🧁, toasted coconut 🥥 and she threw on a scoop of coffee marshmallow! The waffle cones are made from scratch and the scent of them is heavenly and they taste so good! 100% will be back! All the ice cream is handmade and so creamy and delicious, 100% worth the trip! We will be visiting again before we leave town! Our whole family loved 🥰 it!

My mother and I fell in love with this cute little quaint icrecream shop. Their ice cream is so flavorful and creamy. Every time I come to visit my sons in St Petersburg, Florida-I will be sure to take a relaxing drive to Lulu’s!

Homemade icecream with great choices. I had the peach raspberry swirl . She even gave me a small scoop of the coconut icecream to try and it was amazing. Everyone in our group loved what they got . Owners where super friendly.

Awesome ice cream and fun stop when you’re driving by or visiting. They owners are so nice and they have a Lu Lu special ice cream that’s really good! My kids loved it. Little hole in the wall and all.

Best ice cream shop in the state of Florida! Lu Lou’s is a must stop if you are in the Tampa area. The staff is always amazing and so helpful. They even had a SUGAR FREE option for my wife (who is diabetic). The smell of fresh baked waffle cones drifting from the door will draw you in every time. Do not miss this wonderful local spot. You will regret not coming.

Stopped by for dessert after supper. Even though they had a bad day with their ac going out on a summer day, they were upbeat and delivered a fanatic waffle cone with moose tracks ice cream.

A few nights ago, my girlfriend and I walked past this little ice cream shop. The smell was entrancing but we were stuffed from dinner. We planned right then to come back. Today, we finally stopped in. The shop owners were incredibly welcoming and the ice cream was delicious! We each had homemade waffle bowls which were great too. We’ll definitely be visiting LuLu’s anytime we’re back in the area.

Nice small ice cream parlor with access to the main road. Well made ice cream with a good selection to choose from. I got the peach milkshake and it was really good, the service was nice and fairly quick. I would definitely recommend if you are near the area. The only downside I found was that they opened at 3:00 pm which was a little late but Well worth the wait.
