Azalea Park

I came here to go on a walk with friends on Tuesday, 6/6/23. We parked at the playground and took the trail from there. There were plenty of people walking, but there was space for everyone. It was beautiful! Stroller-friendly! The path was pretty shaded in the beginning, but you definitely need sunscreen for the latter part! We fed our babies under the covered pavilion. Plenty of picnic tables and trash cans. I can't wait to go back!

It was great!! A friend & I were waiting for our kids, who have special needs, to return from an outing. It was the perfect place for respite!! We had a chance to catch up, get some vitamin D & have some “me” time. There were lots of people out, so parking is a bit difficult. We were luckily able to pull into a park 😅

Great location for swimming on a hot day. Plenty of barbecue spots, and safe for the kids. We put our kayaks in, there are multiple beaches and room for your boat or jet skis. Tons of fun! Look for the shaved ice truck too!

Beautiful spot to come for a riverside picnic, let your kids go wild on the swings while you enjoy the serene view of the river. Parking seems a little tight at times but few minutes drive to the next spots saves the day.

We've always loved coming here, a very nice area with restrooms and picnic areas. Unfortunately the area is flooded due to the high levels of the Chattahoochee. But we were still able to have a nice walk that included hooking up with the Roswell Riverwalk. Wonderful views of the river. The boardwalk is very nice and well maintained.

A wonderful place to go to ! Be it for a quiet evening walk or to sit by the river and look at world go by or to spend some fun family time barbecuing in the picnic area, this place provides that fun yet calm oasis.
.. Parking is ample but tends to get busy especially on the weekends & holidays when the young, old and everyone in between come to spend their day - rowing and boating on the river....

Great spot for outdoors right on the edge of the water. Rent canoes, watch canoeing, kayaking, fishing boats, and fish right off the edge of the water. Nice small park for kids. Picnic tables, a covered shed and a few grills. Very nice open view of the river and nature. Watch the geese. Love this place!

Perfect place for some recreation. Very calm and serene. Apt place for a morning or evening walk or jog. There are plenty of benches to sit. Also, there is a picnic shelter here for families to have some nice time. There are free books available here to sit back and read. They have ample open parking area. A great experience. Would surely recommend.

I’ve been coming here for couple years and I love it! Beautiful sunrise in the morning if you get there on time.

Azalea Park has been a pleasure and joy to call home. The property is clean and very quiet. I love that there is security officer on property.The office staff a pleasure to work with… Thanks to Tara W… she went the extra mile to make sure I was settled in my new home.Once again Thanks and keep up the excellent Customer Service.

Parking for east access to the Riverwalk. Playground. No bathrooms though. They are 2 parking lots down by the row house.

Park along the river with a playground and picnic pavilion. We attended a library story time under the pavilion this summer. It was a nice venue for my kiddos. We played on the playground for a bit, especially enjoying the bucket swings. The playground equipment seems newer and the ground surface was wood chips. Then we walked along the riverside. There's a Little Free Library at one side of the parking lot. At the next parking lot over there was what looked like a rental place for canoes/kayaks and another pavillion. There's a paved sidewalk connecting the areas together. Beautiful area to come visit.

Beautiful gem of Roswell. Parking is limited, so plan accordingly. If parking across the road from river, (yes you can) pull off the road completely so as not to obstruct bike lane; cops are known to give ticket frequently if not parked correctly. There is a beautiful playground as well as a picnic shelter. 2 grilling stations (byo stuff). Easy walking trail (wide) all the way across hwy 9 as well as other side to just b4 Cobb county line.

Beautiful park! We had such a great time walking around the Chattahoochee River. Best part for us was seeing an owl in the trees.

Great place for a walk by the river or outdoors activities like kayaking, running or biking, etc… There’s pavilion with picnic tables.

Not too busy today. A few children with grandparents and people with dogs. Nice, relaxing environment. No geese today.

Azalea park is great. If you go, you need to get a tour and go exploring. Look up Chattahoochee tours on Instagram or Google and go explore and catch some fish!

Azalea park is close to my house so I go to it frequently. Great place to walk or jog next to the river. There is a boardwalk that you can walk on that is a really nice walk. There is an area to rent kayaks and they have special weekend with breweries at the park which is nice. There are plenty of barbecue grills and picnic tables and of course playground on both sides of the park. One side has a little water park playground which is fun for the kids in the summer.

One of my favorite places to run. And they’ve built a boardwalk since I’ve last been here!
