The Yucatan Beach Stand

What a great experience. Staff were wonderful, even navigating a power outage. We were lucky and got our food, and it was delicious. Highly recommend the Conch Chowder and Yucatan Bread. Thanks for handling a less than ideal situation with class and patience.

Drinks are always good here. Waitstaff is always friendly. I have never had a bad meal here. The lava nachos are massive, the bay bread is fantastic, the quesadillas are awesome, and the chicken sandwiches are great. I never get the same meal twice and have loved every single one.

We absolutely loved this restaurant! We eat here for dinner on a Thursday night in October and sat down immediately. They have still not recovered from hurricane Ian. We had boom boom shrimp, grouper fried, fajitas chicken that was more than enough for two of us, Nachos, shrimp tacos and shrimp peeled. Every dish with too much food but so good! What a unique bar! The swings at the bar are the coolest touch. Tried the local cider and it was great. They played great music and the place is family friendly as well.

We had the Snow Crab boil - it was delicious! The atmosphere was great, and our waitress was super attentive. It's definitely a five-star experience.

The shrimp dish, and their Cuban sandwich both were very good. What we liked the most is how dog friendly they were. They even have a doggy menu. We ordered our goldens each a doggy ice cream, and they brought out a bowl of water for them too. Very cool place, atmosphere is great. I would certainly recommend them.

It was a great place to have a Cuban sandwich! Also, the Yacatan bread was good. Busy, but worth the wait!

Had a great time today taking my family visiting from up north to take in some FL vibes. Our server Antonio was fantastic, he took care of everything with ease. Had a great time. I'm a local so I know this is a great place. But my family says they'll def want to come back. 💯💯

I was in Ft. Meyer for the first time ever! I went to this place for lunch and had Yadira as my server. When you talk about a sweet, very attentive and personable individual. I asked her how long she been here she said 10 years and I thanked her returning to work after the damage of the hurricane that this area endured. She recommended gator bite! Which were amazing. The Rossler burger was great as well. That was for lunch. Now, fast forward to dinner. We had Brian, it was my bday so he will tried to make all the things that had went wrong with my order right. I order the snow crab broil. I had poop and sea weed in it, hardly any sausage and it came out with NO seasoning on it what’s so ever. It was sent back. Came back still no seasoning but on the crab legs there was some. I got a great amount of crab legs. It was the other stuff laying naked and season less. That does not reflect the both severs that I had were amazing.

But Yadira is my GIRL. Will come back to see her again. Thank you!!

Great experience in every way! I went there before Ian, and it was ok, but they have absolutely stepped out up in every category. We went in with a party of 6 no problem seating us. The service was top-notch, as was the food. This is going to be a staple for us from now on.

For having a hurricane 7 months ago, we were very impressed with how put together they were while remodeling the inside of the restaurant. We came up from the beach hungry and got some great tacos! The cheese curds were incredible too! The employees were nice and we loved spending money locally.

Yay! It survived the Hurricane last year and is still open! Same great atmosphere as before. Same great food. The only change was that they no longer have their awesome fried clam basket!

Our server GIOVANNI was awesome. He was friendly, very attentive, and he sure knew the menu. My friend is allergic to garlic and onions, and is very limited of what she can eat. GIOVANNI knew exactly what the fresh shrimp were rinsed and how the beans and rice were prepared. She had a garden salad The lettuce was fresh cucumbers and tomato with cheese, vinegar and oil on the side. It was a great serving size. I had the shrimp quesadillas and they were delicious. The atmosphere Was warm and inviting. We sat by the outside bar with the swing chairs. It was a happy environment. It’s nice and close to the beach walking distance. They also offered daily specials.. check it out!! Ask for GIOVANNI he’s a nice young man.

Went over to see the damage and recovery efforts. This place is totally up and running!! Food was amazing, service was spot on. The place was packed but they did not miss a beat. Fun atmosphere all around.

We needed boredom at home day out. As we drove down to Fort Myers Beach to try something new we ended up here. The staff were all polite and attentive. The food was good and the atmosphere comfortable. Except the bar stools don't move and can't get close enough to the bar to eat.

Got seated exactly where we asked. Our server was very attentive, got our drinks quickly and he checked back multiple times after our food was brought out. We ordered a variety of appetizers, all were good. Calamari with jalapeños and banana peppers, blackened shrimp skewers with ginger sauce and Yucatán bread was delish!(do wish the bread was a little crispier though). Live music was great as well.

Cool vibe with the rope swing seats at the bar outside. Good food, drinks and service. Great to see local businesses in the area opening back up. I know they appreciate the support.
