Good area. There is a port-a-potty and ample parking. The stream is easily accessible from the parking area.

Beautiful Trails, quiet and exactly the easy hike we were looking for with our dogs. Great proximity to Georgetown and the nostalgia of a perfect Colorado mountain town.

Very beautiful trail with off of Guanella Pass. Went a bit late this year, most the yellow Aspen leaves have fallen to the ground, but the trail was still beautiful nonetheless!

A trail we always enjoy. Nice wide concrete trail with a fairly easy slope. Beautiful walk along the stream with the Aspen foliage was showing their fall color.

Parking is OK for the demand, the leaves are beautiful and Georgetown down the road is a great town to visit and walk around in.

The trail is great. Parking lot is challenging after 10 am. The signage for trails is awful, GPS on your phone is not helpful

We go every year for photos. Can be busy but it's nice and family friendly.

Trails are a little confusing but, they all kind of intersect at one point or another. I went on a +90° day near Denver to a very lovely 68° here. Beautiful day, beautiful creek. I ended up just sitting down at one point to enjoy the sound of the creek. Very stress-relieving. I will be going back.

Such a beautiful trail. Easy enough for all abilities but interesting enough for those who hike frequently. We followed Sporting News trail till it ended where it was no longer maintained and enjoyed every minute, even in late spring.

a friend and i stayed here overnight while car camping. i didn’t see anything online about whether or not it was permitted but it seemed to work out. there are trash bins and a bathroom which was convenient. if you leave your lights off over night you should be fine ;)

Wonderful little hike and great colors in fall, usually late September or October. Watch out for lots of broken glass and rusty nails by the mill.

I went here to fish the creek. This time of year the water flow was mediocre above the dam but there were fish (Brookies) in every hole. they weren't big but there were fish.
