Hardrock Cafe of Empire Co

We've enjoyed coming here a few times now when we've been in the area. Their pizzas and salads are tasty and very filling. They have a decent beer selection. And the staff there has always been very friendly!

Beer and Pizza is excellent. Small pizza will feed two people. Cream ale too easy to drink. Great drop in place.

I tell you this is really my kind of place! I would suggest anybody going through this town to stop in here and have a bite to eat because their calzones are excellent! Our waitress was as good looking as the day is long! And I liked it because it wasn't super crowded! There is a pizza joint in Idaho Springs that's pretty popular but every time you go in there you are elbowing somebody at the table behind you! This place is quite the opposite and that is a good thing!

Just had the best lunch. Stopped in on a whim, bc I've passed it at least a dozen times, and am very glad I did. The service was both friendly and timely, the extra hot BBQ wings just perfect, grilled cheese melty and yummy, and the fries? I mean, who can write home about fries but these were so cooked to perfection; crispy outside and soft inside and not over salted.

Will definitely return.

We stopped by to get lunch. The girl with cool tats and purple hair was so nice. 💜 Great costumer service! The pizza was so good! So tasty! 🍕

Clearly the best food and value of any Hard Rock Cafe-This is the absolute original founder in the 1890s. They got sued by the commercial version and they won. The beer is pure craft and the hatch green Chilli stew is awesome and not over price. Worth the stope

Had a filling meatball sub and veggie calzone. Convenient location, great to stop by on the way home to Denver from Winter Park.

Best chimichangas this side of San Antonio. Derrek was running the show solo and did an amazing job. I've passed by several times, won't make that mistake again, don't pass it by...Chicken Chimichanga with side of red chili, Orange Wheat beer. Patio is dog friendly!!!

We stopped in by chance and we’re pleasantly surprised. The food was phenomenal. Pizza and calzones were the choice and we’re not disappointed. The pizza is Detroit style, thick squares. Definitely worth stopping for a bite.

The actual original Hard Rock Cafe named for the hard rock mining that took place in the area is not affiliated with the "hard rock cafe" that refers to rock and roll music. This is a great place to grab a bite and hang out with the mayor who will tell you all about the place. I highly recommend eating and relaxing at the original Hard Rock Cafe here in Empire CO!

I haven't had such amazing Detroit style pizza in over a decade, delicious!

This is the original Hard Rock Cafè and it is a great ambiance with fantastic local beers on tap !

Highly recommend! Stopped by with the family and started off with a delicious sausage platter. Had a decadent all meat pizza with fresh marinara sauce on thick crust topped with a generous amount of sausage, ham and bacon. The pastrami sandwich was excellent with the horse radish sauce. Great atmosphere and even greater food!

We visited on 3rd October (2019) - we were served really quickly, and the waitress was really efficient, cheerful and helpful. And the food was great!

I had nachos - and accepted the suggestion to have a half portion. Even so, the portion size was very generous indeed, and all the toppings and the 4 extra salsas were delicious. These were the nicest nachos I've ever had, and I've tried a lot!

The other person had a half-pound burger and fries - I'm told the burger was excellent, and I can confirm that the fries were especially good.

Note: despite what the Google Maps description says, this is nothing to do with the Hard Rock Cafe chain - it's a friendly local restaurant that pre-dates the chain.

Classic mountain town restaurant. Really good in-house brewed beer, I wish I had ordered the nachos! They looked great. The chicken tender basket I ordered was still good though! Great stop heading up or down the 40.

Pizza, salad, and Guanella Pass Brewing Company beers were all delicious, and portions were generous! The pizza had an incredible crust and was loaded with ingredients! Sarah our bartender/server was delightful!!

Amazing pizza. Awesome beer. The place is very clean and the staff is efficient and friendly. I am so glad the new owners were able to keep the Hard Rock Cafe open. Such an historic place.

When one of our breakfast items was not cooked to my satisfaction, I received a full refund and a sincere apology from who I'm assuming was the manager then was offered a free crowler as well. Great beer, and great people who seem to really care about their customers.

The Hardrock Omelette was tasty, and the Cholula Hot Sauce added just the right zing to their home fries. The waitress was polite & efficient. My 11AM timing may have contributed to my experience, but I'd give this sole proprietorship another shot.

Loves the pizza here! Detroit style. Really good. Quaint little place in Empire. Stopped on our way down Berthoud Pass.
