Colorado Adventure Center - Sky Trek Ropes Course & Zip-Lines

My 8 year old daughter and I absolutely loved our rafting trip on Clear Creek (beginners). Our guide, Alexis, gave great rowing directions to our ‘team’ in the raft and had great technical skills to get us through the rapids and around all the boulders. I really appreciated how she had only my daughter row during a a calm section of the river and spun the boat in a circle, making my daughter believe she was doing it all by herself. The beginners section was the perfect mix of rowdy rapids and sightseeing. We didn’t want the trip to end, and it was the highlight of this summer’s Colorado vacation.

Had an amazing time on our rafting trip. Our guide Stewert was amazing and did an exceptional job keeping us on course through challenging rapids. All the other staff was amazing as well. They did a great job getting us fitted four our wet suits and PPE. They also did a great job of getting us hyped for our adventure. I highly recommend stopping in and taking one of their tours.

We had a great experience on the ropes course with 5 kids (ages 8 - 13). Addison, Sydney and Zion were wonderful, knowledgeable guides. A very well run organization that was extremely accommodating to all of our needs. I would highly recommend the experience to anyone.

Awesome day!!! Our party consisted of 5 participating adults (plus two observing adults) and 7 kids, ages 4-14. We had a blast. The courses are varied enough that there were plenty of challenges for everyone. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff. From check-in, to harness fittings, instruction to course staff, all were so knowledgeable and personable. We had a great afternoon!!! Thank you all!

Fantastic team with great attitude. The course was fun and exciting and the team offered suggestions to cater to our skill level. Safety is a high priority. Photographs are a little pricey but worth it for a lasting memory. Thanks Lucy, Dustin, and I'm sure many others that helped with our adventure on the ropes course.

Colorado Adventure Center is such a fun place with rafting, zip lining, and an aerial ropes course, all in one place. The location is right outside of Idaho Springs, which is an easy drive from the Denver Metro, and was an overall great adventure outing for the whole family (rafting 7+ years of age, zip-lining 48”+/65lbs+, and ropes 4+ years). The grounds/facilities were all clean and well cared for. The staff were all friendly and helpful. And the rope course (our adventure for this trip) is one of the best ones we have done in Colorado. Heads up, as you get close the road has a couple of different pull-outs, so keep an eye out for the big CAC lodge parking lot. Dress for the weather, bring water, treat your guides nicely, and you should have an awesome day.

Libby and Xavier were excellent zip-line guides. They gave great instructions without making me feel like they were talking down to me. We had so much fun and felt safe the entire time. We definitely plan to return.

The fun and the service that we experienced was nothing short of top notch. Two days in a row they made efforts of accommodating to allow for our party to experience their zip line / climbing adventures. A huge thank you to Chris and Ryan who were our guides for the afternoon. Staff was very friendly and always helpful from start to finish. If you’re going through town.. HIGHLY recommend!

We had a great experience completing the ropes course, it was challenging and a great atmosphere. Our guides Zion and Alyssa were awesome, they were very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend, if you need a family fun day.

Really great experience from a well organized company. Everything started on schedule and was very Professional. Safety is to priority and there were no sketchy obstacles on the sky trek course. Our kids, 8 and 10, enjoyed it tremendously.

Had a great time ziplining and rafting at the Colorado adventure center. Zipline adventure with our instructors Addi and Brina was a lot of fun and they ensured our safety at each step. Averie was an expert rafting guide and helped us get through some difficult stretches when the water was low in the rapids. Highly recommended!

Went here on a Thursday for a school event. Great place to spend a morning. Parents got to chat while watching their kiddos from an observation area. The kids had the opportunity to make new friends and cheer each other on while climbing, swinging, and zip lining through a fun and challenging course. There is a small shaded area for enjoying a picnic lunch after a nice ‘lil workout in the course! Highly recommend!

We were unable to do the white water rafting trip because it was too late in the season. They suggested the zip line tour instead. We had a blast and Blue & Sydney were great guides and made the trip fun.

We went on the intermediate rafting trip in Idaho Springs and it was awesome! Brooke was our guide and she was absolutely the best - we never tipped over or fell out. Overall, had a great experience, would totally do it again.

We had a great experience on the Sky Trek Aerial Park with very knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming staff (Jess, Zion, & Sarah). The equipment and structures were all incredible and, while totally thrilling and outside our comfort zones, it also felt very safe and controlled. My 12 & 10 year old were able to do every loop in our 2 hour window and my 8 year old (she is tall) was able to make it to the Gold tier (level 3). Very neat experience all on it's own.
