Beaver Brook Watershed East Parking Area

Beautiful hike today. Easy with some packed snow and ice.

Not a large parking area but it fits about 15 cars or so & it's right next to the trailhead. This trail is not very difficult but was a challenge upon returning to the car as it is slightly uphill & we were exhausted from walking around the body of water. The reservoir was beautfiul to look at & there were many spots by the water to just sit & enjoy.

Great place to cross country ski! The hills are sloped enough so it's fun without being overly difficult. It's a pretty area with healthy mixed conifer forests. This area, from this parking lot all the way to Echo lake is a big undiscovered outdoor playground! It's my go to area for hiking, biking, and skiing and it's 45 minutes away from Denver!

One of my favorite area hikes. Goes down to the reservoir and then back up through the first mile. Then take left turn at the junction and follow for about a mile until there is a turn off across the creek to the right. Always stay to the right going out. I've gone as far as 4 miles and then turned around. Stay to the left at each option going back. Feels like really deep woods even though just three miles up Squaw Pass.

Had a great time hiking on the snow-covered trail. Saw quite a few dogs having fun too.

One of my fsvorite hikes less than 40 minutes from Denver. I've never had an issue with parking and I usually go on the weekends during peak hours.

Love this trail! Great area to explore, nice walk to pond. Great place to take the dogs.

Nice and easy trails with several off shoots to choose from. Not too many people around!

Hiking trail that is wheelchair accessible! Went in my power chair and was able to get all the way down to the lake.

Love this place! Parking small and no garbage bins, so plan to carry out trash and dog poo. Please!

Beautiful, albeit it terrifying at the amount of very fresh bear activity and recently killed deer near the trail 😆. Watch your six.
