A Whistle Stop Cafe

We stopped by on our way to Glenwood Springs and I gave the burrito smothered in ghost pepper cheese a try. Staff were friendly, prices were good, and the food was too, I am glad we came here.

This place is so cute, small and has that hometown feeling! The food portions are huge, and service was friendly. Prices are right.
For being a small mom n pop cafe, she did amazing serving, taking orders and pretty sure helping cook the orders too.
Would recommend to others who want a sit down, relaxing break from interstate driving.

Karen & Rachel welcomed us with smile and the best breakfast I've had in Colorado. Fresh, Local, Fast and Cheap. Come and try this place...its better than the Ritz Carlton at Beaver Creek and the Grand Hyatt in Vail. Eat here and save $100.00

My husband has stopped here whenever he is passing through. When we took our family to the Georgetown trail, we we're hoping to score a seat on 4th of July. We squeezed in before they closed and enjoyed a yummy lunch. Very small space but beautiful mountain views. I had the Reuben and he had a chicken fried steak, the Reuben was out of this world yummy. They halved a cheeseburger for our kids.

Great food and service! They play good music too. Don't walk out just because they're playing The Bee Gees because that would be lame.

They had a steak and eggs breakfast special for a reasonable price and the steak was cooked to perfection! Excellent!

The food tasted great and homemade. The service was fast, and the staff friendly. We will definitely come back here on our way up the mountain!

The food was really delicious! I had a cheddar cheeseburger burger with French fries. My wife had the omelette (w/ cheddar, spinach, tomatoes, and mushrooms) and French toast.
I have not been to any place with better service! The waiter was so friendly. Was with the in-laws and he accommodated every request and was proactive.
The cook also came out and asked how the food was. This type of food and service can only be possible if people genuinely like doing what they love.
Without the Google Reviews you wouldn't necessarily know you're coming in for a great experience just from looking at the outside of the restaurant. The inside looks very homey and we all enjoyed the entire experience!

We stopped there today for breakfast. My boyfriend wanted some pie but they did not have any. The waitress helped get him something for his sweet tooth and the cook made him an amazing stack of french toast with syrup and fruit. It was amazingly good. I got an omelette that was absolutely amazing as well. The waitress and the cook are awesome!! Thank you so much!

Fantastic service, our waitress was sweet as can be and fast too. My coffee never ran out and she even made sure to offer sirracha for my husband's burrito! The food was spectacular! The short stack was so big I could barely finish it and the breakfast burrito was HUGE! It's small but the charm is 100%!

I didn't have high expectations. The place is small with limited seating, with every seat full. The server was amazing, kept up with everyone. Best coffee in the state. Had the country burrito and was blown away by the perfection of it. 5 star chef quality. Perfect eggs, perfectly seasoned. Great value. Will put this on our map.

Food was amazing!! Only one waitress, she absolutely earned her tip and then some!! It gets busy quick, so go early, outdoor seating only though, at this time. She was very amiable and efficient!! Will definitely frequent this place again, next trip!!

I’m definitely going to give this family cafe 5 stars. Hard working folks with great food. Good portions. I’m all about the veggie breakfast omelets, and my friends always get the chicken fried steak! Was my go to when I lived close by.

An amazing little cafe with excellent food!! They serve huge portions at a very reasonable prices so you won't leave hungry or broke. Great food. Service is excellent. I chose to eat breakfast here while attending a recent writer's retreat held in Georgetown. This is where the locals eat and it's an easy 4 minute walk from the Georgetown Mountain Inn where I was staying. Cute, cute place where you can mix with the hometown folks. I really enjoyed "A Whistle Stop Cafe". Thanks for the adventure. Excellent breakfasts.

Ordered takeout one morning and it was delicious. Best breakfast potatoes ever. Biscuits and gravy were delicious. Everyone loved their breakfast and I was sad I didn't get another opportunity to eat there!

Best breakfast of our road trip hands down! We ordered the chicken fried steak and coffee. It was absolutely delicious! We will be back again next time through Georgetown! Loved the owner too 😊

Excellent service, friendly and inviting, clearly knows people of the town well yet made us out-of-towners feel welcomed. Omelets were outstanding and potatoes perfectly cooked. Sourdough bread was great! 10/10 recommend

We’re from NY and on vacation. Made a pit stop on our way through to the Hot Springs... and I’m so glad we did. Rachel, the owner and sole waitress when we arrived, was very humorous and real. The food was delicious... and the experience was superb. I’d recommend to anyone driving through. Two thumbs up!
