Restful Nest Bed & Breakfast

We had a great stay at the Restful Nest. Lois and Jon were fun and thoughtful hosts, who made a delicious (and enormous!) breakfast. The grounds are several acres and really beautiful, with ponds, open lawns, a cute well, views and a pool and hot tub. Our room was large and quiet, with a super comfortable bed. I'd stay again any time.

This was our first time at a B&B. From the moment we arrived Lois & John made us feel like family. Staying at their B&B made our trip to Yosemite such a pleasant experience. The B&B has large, spacious rooms in a beautiful Country setting. Also there is a beautiful pool and hot tub for guests to enjoy. Breakfast was AMAZING!! Fruits, yogurt, omlets, bacon, pork chops, taters and the crepes, oh my goodnes! She also made some sugar free muffins which were wonderful.
This Couple has an absolutely wonderful home to welcome their guests. Thank you John & Lois for making us feel at home!! We definitely will be back. If I could give a higher rating than 5 I definitely would!! They deserve a 10 ❤❤

Let me start with saying, I have never written a review in my life, but this experience has to be shared. Jon and Lois make the Restful Nest a home away from home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but even better is their company. At night, they invited us in for a glass of wine and got to know us, and us them. We left for Yosemite at 4:30am and Lois woke up and made us breakfast, and packed us an extensive to go bag. This is hospitality that cannot be beat. 5 stars doesn’t seem like enough, and I would highly recommend anyone passing through to stay at this one of a kind experience.

Looking for a place to stay around Yosemite, don't look any more. Restfull nest is the place you need. I was staying with my 2 years old daughter and had a blast weekend. Like I found my family here. Rooms are cozy, beds are comfortable, location is amazing. But what the most important is the hosts! Never seen so much passion about what they are doing. Breakfast is the 3 course meal cooked and served warmed and fresh. It is like mini Thanksgiving here, so much food. Luis will accommodate any your diatery preference ( gluten free, milk free or sugar free, what ever you need) and still cook amazing meals and serve with love. I'm looking forward to returning back

Amazing hosts! Amazing food! Can not recommend enough! Jon and Lois are amazing. The amount of delicious food was staggering. I]We felt like we were immediately part of the family. Wish we could have stayed much longer! Beautiful property and Pool was so imnviting!

My wife and I love the Restful Nest. The location is scenic, the house and property are beautiful but most importantly, the owners / hosts are incredible. Jean and Lois are fantastic. They warmly welcome each guest and make them feel as if they are family. Every morning breakfast is a marathon of delicious food: fresh fruit, home made muffins, juices, egg frittata, waffles, bacon and so on. All presented beautifully. Occasionally they even invite their guests back for dinner and wine. Jean knows all the local vineyards and always has something special up his sleeve. Most evenings are filled with engaging conversation with your hosts and other guests. The house is on a large plot of land in the country side and features a pool and hot tub. Our rooms have been spacious, comfortable and well appointed. My wife and I have stayed here twice now and plan to make it a feature of all our vacations in this area. Jean and Lois are considering retiring so get here while you still can!

Let me say...this was the most relaxing mini vacation we ever had... The Restful Nest is truly that...a secluded little oasis tucked away in the foothills to Yosemite. The service is top shelf and the property is lovely to walk around and explore.
Now the food...bring your appetite! A big country breakfast with a French flair awaits you every morning. Lois is up at 5am cooking/baking her masterpieces. Fresh fruit, cobbler, fresh hot coffee, homemade hot cocoa...Just out of the oven home-made Brioche! Where else are you going to get that?!?!?
That's just the first half... Piles of bacon, sausage, eggs or quiche and hot cakes for the second half...
John helps Lois with the culinary service and "works the crowd" for one of the funniest mornings you'll have. It's the perfect way to start the day with a smile on your face before going into Yosemite...

Very peaceful, rooms are well appointed and clean. John and Lois are excellent hosts and pull out all the stops for a delicious breakfast, we couldn't have asked for a nicer B&B stay.

The Restful Nest is run by the USA's most hospitable couple, Lois and Jon-Pierre. If I ever visit the country again we will make a point of staying here because we enjoyed ourselves so much. Just go and stay there because I guarantee that you won't be disappointed. Thank you so much guys. 💋💋💋

We spent 2 nights at the restful nest and we have to admit that it's been a marvellous experience. John and Lois make everything so that we feel good. My French compatriots, you'll find someone who'll be able to speak our language. And what to say about breakfast ? Incredible ! Lois is the best cook of America 😁.

it‘s like visiting your grandparents, very good breakfast at 08:00, Jon (Jean) and Lois are really nice people. You feel welcome and it‘s a quite personal stay. usually i‘m not rating any places but they deserve it totally. fair price, we even got a homemade pizza for dinner aswell. (you always eat together with the other guests at the table). it‘s probably the best choice to stay when you want to visit yosemite,

Being thousands of miles from home (Portland. ME) and spending several days /nights at the RESTFUL NEST created an atmosphere that we were back home and that Lois and John were our long time relatives. WOW!
Louis/John know how to make you feel right at home. They and their accomodations create an ambiance possibly unique in this world of 2016. WOW! The food is as good as it gets ( maybe better than back home) . Hospitality is practiced 24/7 . Mother Nature provides entertainment.
We can't imagine anyone not being 100% satisfied at Lois and John's RESTFUL NEST B&B.

We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it.
The owners are very nice, they go out of their way to make your stay pleasant.

When we arrived they greeted us with home made ice cream and prosecco.

Every day they packed us some food to go to the park with. Even when we had to leave very early, before breakfast, they made sure we had coffee and tea in travel mugs (that they provided), and enough food packed in a couple lunch bags to have a good breakfast on the go.

On the subject of breakfast, it's one of the best breakfasts I've ever had. It was so much food, and most of it home cooked.

The B&B is close to the town (15 minutes) and it's a great place to stay if you want to be close to the park.

The views from the rooms are amazing and it's very quiet and peaceful.

You'll definitely feel spoiled!

This was the most wonderful stay in our 2 weeks trip on the westcoast.

Very nice accommodations, but is was John and Lois and Jenny's hospitality and great cooking that made it such a great stay. Thanks to you all, and especially John for the chicken noodle soup for our colds. And thanks for accommodating all 7 Frosts.

This B and B is off the beaten path. the grounds are very peaceful with lots of wildlife visiting the grounds (deer, quail, wild turkeys, and a plethora of birds. The hostess and host are amazing, they will make you feel right at home. The accommodations are very comfortable and spacious the food is absolutely wonderful and plentiful. Thank you Lois and Jon. We will be back.

The owners are amazing people. The food was terrific. The property is absolutely beautiful. Deer roaming about as well as other wild life. It's a wonderful destination all by itself. Will definitely return.

My stay was amazing! Great breakfast, clean room and bathroom with super soft towels. Wish I could stay longer. Will definitely be staying again soon!

Hosts Jean and Lois are amazing and guests are so diverse. We planned an entire trip around returning there! 10 out of 10 WOULD recommend!!
