Love this store it always smells amazing in here. My husband bought us there's little incense block and they smell AMAZING. Such an adorable store!

Truly one of my favorite stores. The leather and ceramic styles here are totally unique and completely authentic to the Mariposa vibe. The eclectic variety of food/beverage/household products and great vinyl music on tap add warmth and magic to the equation. Highest literal and experiential value per square foot in town - and the most durable loyalty card 😁 Gotta get a shirt if you're lucky enough!

Beautifully & intentionally selected products with impeccably crafted handmade treasures to boot. Love that Okie Dokie brings high-quality and interesting goods to this tiny mountain town, and provides the locals with treats they would otherwise have to go to the city to source. Not to mention it always smells so dang good while you shop, & the owners are so much fun to chat it up with!

This shop is created, owned and run by a talented husband and wife team - Nancy, a ceramicist, and Derek, a leather craftsman. It’s inspiring and feels so good to see people following their calling and making their dreams come true. This good feeling is felt throughout the shop with love and care built into everything - every product, detail, piece of display furniture, and art. I want to see more of this in the world!

I deeply love and appreciate handmade goods. The maker’s love and essence is built into every product. It feels so much more special to eat or drink out of handmade ceramics knowing that an artist spent a lot of time making the vessel for us to use and enjoy. Especially when it comes to leather goods that accompany us everyday (like my Okie Dokie leather wallet, watch band, and belt), it feels better having these items made by another human.

I come here regularly to treat myself with the best smelling body products, purchase mugs that feel perfect in one’s hands, and to pick up snacks for picnics with friends. I also sometimes visit the shop just to take in the wonderful scent, the music from the record player, the latest ceramics release, and to swoon over their leather totes and wallets.

Another wonderful feature of this shop is that Derek can repair and rejuvenate your leather goods. He can fix your Birkenstocks and rethread and condition leather bags and boots. I love that we have this increasingly rare service for mending our belongings. Derek can also make custom leather gifts. Last Christmas, I hired him to make copies of a belt that my dad, husband, and I all love to wear. It was the best gift.

I cherish all the items I have purchased from this shop. Derek and Nancy have impeccable taste and talents and are generous to share them. I highly recommend this small business that adds so much value to our community.

My leather tote from Okie Dokie is the greatest purse I have ever owned. It is made with love and of great quality. I constantly get comments on how much people love it! Now I just need to get a brown one!
