Side Door Deli Lancaster

Went to Side Door Deli for lunch with 10+ other friends and we had the best experience along with delicious food. All made fresh to order and everyone was saying the same of their meal. We went back again for another lunch and were so satisfied!!! Not only do they have freshly made foods for your liking, they also have a full size deli along with MANY OTHER CHOICES. I was quite surprised just how many people pull up, get their lunch etc. and go on their way. Would definitely recommend The Side Deli to anyone. Great place !!!!

Went in for a breakfast sandwich. It turned out to be one of the best I've ever had. The worker was also very helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. Definitely going back with my significant other, nice, quaint little place. Would highly recommend!

The Further down “Broadway Market...”

That’s how I would describe this wonderful deli in the town of Lancaster. It reminds me of a mini version of The Broadway Market with The smell of Polish and Italian foods Hitting you in the face as you walk through the front door.
My first response after a taste of his food was “I may never cook at home again” because the food was so delicious the prices were so reasonable and it’s right around the corner from my house. Why go anywhere else. Why cook at home?

Anyhow I highly recommend this hidden treasure right here in Lancaster New York.

You won't be disappointed if you stop here. The owner is the nicest person and very helpful. I highly recommend Mr. Ray's breakfast sandwiches. He makes them fresh and the hashbrown just makes it! There is also a good selection of deli meats and other items to choose from in the mini market area. Need a last minute dinner idea or ingredient, you can find it here.

I am a nurse and was on an assignment out this way last night. I stopped by this deli for a quick bite on the road. The owner was such a kind person and you can tell he was quite proud of his deli. I got the beef on weck and it was delicious. I was so nicely surprised to have had 10 minutes of a nice person and good food to get me through the rest of my shift. I recommend!

The cold cuts are always fresh and the subs are also freshly made and absolutely delicious. Fair pricing and Incredibly friendly service. Owner is usually on site and he makes sure his customers leave happy.

First visit, wonderful selection of many homemade foods. Excellent deli. Includes side door diner. Brunch Sat. & Sun. 9 - 2. Friendly, excellent service, knowledgeable staff. They also will cater your event, big or small. Definitely will return. Purchased pierogies, variety of flavors. Subs, salads, & brick oven pizza are also served.

Amazing little diamond in the rough. Went in for a sub on lunch one day and found they have freshly cooked amazing food ready to serve. Great customer experience as well and the staff is very friendly.

Bob is a wonderful proprietor and even better guy. Definitely check out the Side Door Deli for fresh eats and a friendly atmosphere. Sneaky side note: The breakfast pizza is pretty great.

Krystal, Robert, and the team at Side Door Deli produce a terrific lunch "experience." Good food is the baseline -- everything fresh, amazing selection of options, made quickly and well, and with generous portions. And if they recommend a special, take their advice -- today was the turkey club (which they happily grilled for us when asked, no problemo) and the ribs, seasoned with "Farmers Dust" and substantial enough to seem like an entire pork chop. Good to the last drop. But the icing on the cake -- what made the difference between this and another "good food" restaurant -- is the people. They gave us a no-fuss, easy, and delicious lunch with good humor, attentive, fast and friendly service, and fair prices....what more could anyone ask? Highly recommended.

Without a doubt, you don't want to pass up this little gem of a deli. Ready to go home cooked meals and a great deli for some extraordinary meats. Off the bone ham, like you're used to on the holidays. Very friendly owner and store items that you don't see anywhere else. DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP. Located at the corner of Broadway and Bowen next to the gas station. Oh, they also carry Genevieve's cheesecake. Only the best around.

The owner is a great guy and always ready to chat awhile. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious and the food always looks good. Cant wait to try the side "diner" with my grandkids for breakfast.
He was always telling me he wanted an option for Lancaster people as opposed to the typical diners.
It should be a huge success and I know its been a long time coming with so much delay due to Covid.
Support this place -its worth it and they deserve it.

Eating alone tonight? Need a meal to take to work? This is your place. Great food. Always hot and homemade. Great meal at a great price. You cant go to the grocery store and make it yourself for less. The owner is always there and very accommodating. Def my go to place when I dont feel like cooking.Thank you for always being my back up plan !

This place is fantastic, I almost did not want to 5 star it because I'm local and want to keep it to myself. But the place deserves it, killer hot food, great staff, solid deli... don't pass it by on your way up Broadway.

My husband and I were extremely satisfied with the catering that Bob did for us for my mother-in-law’s Celebration of Life last Saturday, October 9th. The sandwiches were yummy and very generous in ingredients. They even came with homemade sweet pickles and a jar of chipotle mustard. The salad was beautiful to look at and great tasting as well. Two different salad dressings came with the salad. The tray of desserts was an assortment of sweets; something for everyone. What a relief not to prepare all this food myself and the cost was very fair. We would highly recommend the Side Door Deli for any of your catering needs.

Never had a deli I would go to regularly growing up. Not sure if they are all supposed to be this amazing but this one is. Rob used to be a chef for fricken Dolly Parton for petesake!
