El Jimador

Travellers, this is a wonderful Mexican restaurant that has a lively, cheery atmosphere and great service with a smile. And the food was great too. The menu has a nice selection of options from which to choose. Everything was delicious but the mole sauce is special and well done. There is a nice drink menu too. This is a nice place for a large gathering or a party and there is plenty of room to accommodate large groups too. It doesn’t seem to be a problem at all. Check it out. We recommend.

TLDR- great Mexican worth the stop

Our first time here blew us out of the water. The service was incredible. Huge menu and plenty of options for both food and drinks. Prices were great and couldn't not find one thing to complain about. We got the appetizer sampler along with 2 grilled chicken salads. Can't wait to go back and try other options they have. Chicken wings were some of the best we have ever had and the other sampler options were amazing. Highly reccoment if your in the area.

Everybody at my table, including myself, said that everything was really good. We're definitely going back!

The day we went, July 6, 2023, the AC unit was broken, but it wasn't too bad.

Food was outstanding. My husband and I eat Mexican food frequently in our home area (Nashua, NH La Caretta, Tequila's in Groton, MA and Xtapa in Hudson, MA). This was our first trip to El Jimador. My husband had the Burrito Grande with steak and he said it was the best burrito he has ever eaten. I ordered the Tacos Carne Asada and it was very good. We cheeped out and ordered house margaritas, but they were very good too.

Our poor waiter/bartender was very attentive in the beginning, but as we were eating he got slammed and we had to wait awhile for our check. As I said, he was very attentive in the beginning but being slammed and short staffed he did the best he could.

Food is consistent with New England Mexican. Full plates, decent taste, fair price.

Service is hit or miss, depending on who ends up taking care of you- we've had to wait quite a while for drinks or food on occasion(Lucio is the best!).

Atmosphere is great, one side of the restaurant for intimate conversation and another for bar/lounge vibe.

Best Mexican food ever. Best piña colada! Beautiful restaurant. Even the water is good lol. Im from Boston and I can drive all the way here just to eat again. Great service as well.

This place is consistently excellent, I don’t know how they are able to always offer great service, food, and drinks with no issues. My girlfriend and I come here all the time and they always crush. The staff here is so friendly and attentive.

Veggie fajitas are fabulous! Margarita’s are perfectly strong and the jalapeño one has just enough kick. Waitress was attentive and they even have a yummy homemade hot sauce.

The food is always excellent and the service is very good. The drinks were very good as well!

Boritoes Verdes, my fav👍soo good, boritoes grande, boritoes deluxe, w Spanish rice goes good w any of these boritoe combo's shredded meat in the boritoe, an option I choose.

Super nice staff, listens to and remembers special requests. Great meal and we were not rushed out.

As authentic Latino food can get. Very friendly staff, fast service and great value per dollar. Would go again.

The Grande Special (Chile relleno, burrito,taco, chalupa) and their specialty margarita called Perfect were delicious! I wouldn't say its authentic Mexican food. I'm from Texas where it's called Tex-Mex Food, but service and food were great! Our waitress went above and beyond considering they were really busy and Yesenia made some mean cocktails.

Love the Mexican here! It's always a great place to go out to eat! I also heard they got margaritas!
