The servers were very friendly. The blueberry pancake was legit and the hash browns were some of the best I've had. Power went out during my visit and all the workers seamlessly transitioned to an old school diner style. And never lost track of any costumer's orders

The Homestyle Cafe has opened across the parking lot from their old digs, and it is adorable, with it's red and white checked table coverings and window treatments, shiny new floor and a party room that can seat up to 70 people. This past weekend was their opening weekend at the new place.

The owner Misty was proud to tell us all about the place. The recipes are from her grandma, who raised 8 kids and spent most of her time cooking.

We tried the toad omelette, named for Todd, who has been cooking for 25 years. It comes with a medley of at least 8 fillings in one omelette. Misty will spiel them off for you. It came with a reasonable portion of hash browns. I've been known to eat only the crusts on hasbrowns, leaving behind the soft, undercooked middle. No fear of that here. These are the thinnest, crispiest hash browns I've ever enjoyed. You can also get them with gravy. Next time, hubby said. His meal came with a pecan pancake, while Misty let me substitute fresh strawberries.

The coffee was good and frequently refilled. The big bowl of creamers at the table included a choice of half and half, pumpkin spice, hazelnut and french vanilla.

Misty makes the pies. There was a rush on pies over the weekend. We asked about sour cream raisin pie, and she promised if we let her know the day before, she would have one when we next show up. Oh yes, we'll be back.

Amazing food with heart and soul every time. Wonderful staff, from service to kitchen! Full menu available from open until close at 2PM!

Every town I move to, I have to find a great place for breakfast. This is definitely now going to be my go to. The service was great and the food was delicious. If you are looking for a great place to eat, you have come to the right place!

These home style potatoes are the BOMB! Everything we ordered was delicious! Come here for literally a “homestyle” breakfast!

Loved the whole experience. The food was great. Especially the appetizer. Our waitress was top notch. The owner even stopped by the table to check on us and thank us for coming. The ambience was perfect. I met a friend there for lunch on a Friday afternoon. I would definitely go again. And would recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing friendly homey place to enjoy great service and tasty food.

Great food, courteous waitress with a good sense of humor, and a clean homey atmosphere. Our food was brought right out and didn't sit under a heat lamp for a while. The coffee was good.
The only negative was that the bathroom stall door wouldn't latch in the men's room and the toilet was wobbly. Prices were reasonable. Good value for the money.

We heard on the radio that the Homestyle Cafe had prime rib on the weekends. It was FABULOUS!!!! Incredible flavor, and everything fresh. Snow peas were cooked perfectly and my husband had the tiger shrimp fettuccini Alfredo. AMAZING!! The shrimp was huge and everything was delicious. Great great job!

The best chicken fried steak I've ever had. So tender it melts in your mouth. Also prices are cheap. I'll definitely be going back there. My dad actually liked it too so that tells me he enjoyed it.

The food is awesome! Just as the name applies, home style. The service is friendly and always attentive. The owner is very friendly, shows up and asks if everything is fine. You don't see that in too many restaurants these days. The atmosphere is very homey and patriotic. The biggest plus for this place is the price. Very reasonable!This place is our normal hangout on Saturday and Sunday mornings. We will always be back.

Hidden gem! Looking for new breakfast/brunch places in Omaha and stumbled across this. Can tell it's definitely a local place with very loyal customers and local atmosphere. Has an old school, simple feel and it is cash only. The staff was great with recommendations and the food was amazing. All home made and home style cooking. I had the chicken fried chicken with their homemade gravy and it was delicious. The chicken was juicy and tender with the most amazing fried coating on it. The gravy was the best gravy I have ever had. The person with me ordered their standard breakfast (he orders this wherever we go) and he said this is the best breakfast place we have found yet. Hash browns were nice and crispy, sausage was delicious, his eggs were cooked great and the cinnamon swirl toast was great. We will definitely be back!

My first time at this restaurant 😊. Yes I will be going back. It was old fashioned and homey. Everyone was friendly and courteous. It's the kind of place where you and your friends can go and you feel right at home. Everything is made from scratch so yes the food was excellent 👍.

My family and I came into Homestyle Cafe this morning and ordered breakfast casserole double cheeseburger and oatmeal. Our waitress was bew she said she was 4 days in. She was super awesome came back checked on us and how the food was. Always had a smile.The restaurant was super busy with customers waiting. The cooks were great the food was amazing. We will come back to see the waitress and enjoy the food an atmosphere. .Thank you Homestly cafe for the Great Hospitality. Keep up the Great Work.

Outstanding hole-in-the-wall restaurant. We originally stopped by because another restaurant had a 40 minute wait for breakfast and have been back three times this week. Great food, excellent service. The biscuits and gravy are probably the best I've ever had.

Me and my family came here to eat. The food was great and the server kept cheek to make sure everything was good. This place was so calming that even my 2 year old brother was calm in a restaurant for the first time ever

Love the food and the Owners are very nice with perfect customer service! I would recommend everyone to eat at the Homestyle. There is beautiful decorations inside and the food prices are cheap. You can tell the waitresses here care about the restaurant and their customers. Did I mention there is fresh homemade ranch maid daily?

Homestyle Cafe AWESOME! I love breakfast and was not disappointed. Two eggs, two pancakes, and I got six strips of bacon. My reciept said four. The point is you'll get plenty of food. My price was $8.25. My server was Sara she was the best. Located just off 90th on Maple St.

Wonderful family atmosphere. The owner, Misty, will check with customers and shares her home made salad dressings (Which are excellent). She and her wait staff are very attentive, I was never out of coffee. The food was cooked to perfection.

Absolutely the best! Food is and has been always prepared and served just the way I ordered it! Very tasty and always a full plate of food, excellent value for the money. Everyone from the waitstaff to the chef and customers are all very friendly and treated like family.!
