This is the Fairmont Mercantile, and once again, it's a blast to visit all the different rooms in this place. The owner looks like they had a blast decorating, and even his collectibles are fantastic. There is a soda fountain area, an Arcade, a record room,a movie theater, a Pez area, and so much more. Please look at my pictures and you'll understand why I can't mention everything as this store is massive and fun to visit for everyone. Let's not forget all rhe retro candy, fudge, truffles, and whatever your favorite. I'm sure they have it here.

Amazing, you could spend hours touring this walk through your childhood. They are super busy, but very friendly. Love all their displays. Wish the chocolate counters had their own paying area as its difficult to see the items as the paying customers are in front of it.

We had a blast here! I came to see Lady Gaga's piano, but we ended up seeing lot more. They have flippin dehydrated jolly ranchers!!!! Highly recommend them! We had lunch there, not that expensive, around the price of any fast food place, but so much cooler. Ended up staying like 2 hours just exploring and checking out their vinyl collection, which is for sell. We'll be back soon fo sho!

Always interesting. All kinds of candy to look at. Rooms & rooms full of candy. The same candy you'll find at the grocery store plus all the stuff you haven't seen for years! Also lots of memorabilia, such as a popcorn truck, pink Cadillac & the piano played Lady Gaga in the video she shot in NE. They also have an entire room full of pinball machines! Worth stopping by every now & then!

This place is a must see. It’s an old school candy spot on steroids. They have EVERYTHING you’d want. Things you’ve never heard of, nor knew you needed - and that’s just on one isle! Chocolates, candy, fudge, popcorn, ice cream, rock candy, bulk candy & much more. This maybe ground zero for the betes.
They have an entire room dedicated to classic pinball machines. A movie theater. Vinyl records. An “Asian” section. Coolers stocked with sodas, drinks, root beers & the like.
Cute seating areas.
Don’t be deceived like I was, from the outside. This place is massive. It has nooks & crannies which are filled with unique awesomeness.
Wonka approved.

This may be one of the best candy shops we have ever visited. There is something for every taste. The selection was so nice, we stopped twice!

Came for the candy stayed for the shopping. Is a lot bigger inside than what i thought. Lots of fun different unique sections. They have a dog house section, with dog candy, a whole section dedicated to locally made candies. They have coolers for sodas, bars for ordering fudge or chocolates. Customers can play ping pong, check out records, sit down and eat. Plenty to walk area and see here. Outside is highly decorated so its not hard to miss. Easily my favorite retail store in the old market.

What a crazy & fun trip down memory lane! Stopped in just to see what it was & stayed for an hour! Lots of nostalgic items & all the vintage candy you remember from your childhood.

How can you not be happy when you walk in this magical place?! Wow! We enjoyed browsing the massive selection of novelty candies and gifts. Add in lots of nostalgic items, pinball machines, arcades, gifts, and such for even more fun. Only slight ding is the super slow checkout process as the store was packed.

I love visiting very niche little stores and shops in many cities because they really give a delightful experience and a general feeling about the city. Hollywood Candy reminds me a lot of Candy Heaven in old Sacramento, but with so much more. More candy selections. An 80s/90s Arcade area. Not to mention the classic dinner that they have inside the store.
One of the things I got was a mystery pack, which they sell for $5(+tax), and when I opened it, I got a small gift certificate for $5 off. I didn't use it the same day for another purchase, but I'll be definitely coming back with that certificate in hand. Thank you for an excellent experience Hollywood Candy.

This giant candy shop and museum includes an ice cream parlor, covered outdoor seating area, and is directly connected to the pinball arcade and vinyl shop. The whole place altogether is gigantic, but even the candy shop itself is immaculate. They have everything you could think of. Everything is sectioned off logically— bulk candy, candy bars, movie theatre-style boxed candy, sour candy, sodas, novelty candy, licorice, gum, Mexican candy, Harry Potter collection, cotton candy, PEZ, M&Ms varieties, truffles, and fudge. The pro is that you can find just about anything. The con is that prices are elevated, but it’s understandable with all that they have to maintain. The museum is woven in throughout the shop, cafe, and arcade. It’s a fun place you could hang out in for hours!

This isn't just a candy store, it's like a whole museum. There's so many pinball machines and arcade games. They have a whole hall of pez dispensers! There's so many different candy options that it's easy to get lost in here. I highly recommend coming, and bring a pocket of quarters.

Very cool place to go! I read about it in a few "Best of Nebraska" articles and we we're driving by and I realized that this was the place I read about, so we HAD to stop! Next time I'm back in town, I'll be sure to have a candy budget. The antiques were really cool and so was the arcade.

Awesome place to check out if you're in Omaha. I love the huge Pez collection and all the other retro memorabilia. Even Bill Gates and Warren Buffet have stopped by this place.

Our daughter was celebrating her 8th birthday at the nearby Zoo. This place was a natural fit. Candy as far as the eye can see, she loved it. Us adults even found a few things to eat too. ;)

You could get lost in this place for hours, lots of cool stuff too look at and check out. Make sure you check out the arcade in the back as that was my favorite part! Owner was super sweet and mega helpful!

This is an incredibly cool place. Candy, pinball machines, antiques, and so much to look at. The bulk candy selection is huge as is the Jelly Bean selection. There are so many meandering hallways that there is a surprise around every corner and something to have fun talking about. Not really sure what the Papa John's topper is doing on top of the Cadillac, that seemed really out of place.
