Barley Street Tavern

Such a cozy bar with a very friendly owner/bartender. This place has great live music frequently and the sound is perfect. You won't leave here with your ears ringing with regret. Bar is "split" one half having the stage, seating, & dance floor; the other side having the bar, barstools, and tall tables. Good seating available on both sides.
Decent selection of alcohol and even snacks available for purchase when the munchies strike!

Entertainment all week long. The beer selection and staff are great. The stage may be a bit small but it provides a wonderful closed atmosphere to watch a comedian or artist perform. Every Wednesday night local comedians go in and lay down their material during an open mic night. It is a very fun time.

What a cool little place. It's really catchy really fun kind of a old-school atmosphere a place that you dreamed about as a teenager and now living it. They don't serve food but if you're in the mood to drink they pretty much have what you're looking for they have a bar area with a few tables and a band area with some tables and a stage. It's really a cool place if you're looking to watch some live music and have a few drinks that's the place.

Great small place for some acoustic live show. Drinks are good. I like the vibe. Only thing, would-be that the tables are too close together.

This is the best dive bar in Omaha. Great staff, affordable drinks and fantastic entertainment! I can't recommend it enough while you're bumbling around Benson.

Had the breaded shrimp and a mixed drink for less than $20. 14 shrimp and fries for 15 dollars good atmosphere will definitely return

Benson is back, and the Barley Street Tavern (BST) is the most AUTHENTIC bar on the block. The owner- a music enthusiast and one of the few still giving new and emerging talent a shot in front of the mic. The BST is the perfect place to start and to finish if you are doing a night out in Benson- for sure go check out the new and happening venues, but when you're ready for REAL and INCLUSIVE you won't find a BETTER CROWD or STAFF than at Benson's BST. Comfortable easy going dive. Frequently hosts musicians, so check before you go in case you do/don't want to stumble into a show.

Great big bar going through some great big changes and renovations. Now called "The Shakedown", I can't wait to be a more frequent patron as the world reopens.

They have Old Style, gotta love Old Style. A definite dive, and one of the best I've found.
