Poor Gary's Pizza

Absolutely amazing food and outstanding service. I have never had such a wonderful pizza made by someone so dashing. Will absolutely be back to enjoy more works of culinary art, that Eli Johnson is a master 🫡

I have always loved poor Gary's. When we had our seasonal campsite in the camp ground we would order pizza all the time. Now that we don't camp anymore, it's a real treat to order some pizza. The staff and service are great. The pizza always tastes good. I like to bring new people to try some of the pizza. I will be back down again next month for another bite to eat. I recommend the wild rice pizza and an order of cheese bread.

First time here and was totally impressed! Staff was super nice, easy to find a table, and the pizza...wow! Best pizza I've had in a long time. Everything was reasonable and wonderful!

Had your pizza couple of weeks ago and your cheese sausage was just delicious. Lots if cheese and a little spicy sausage which I like. The service and employees are Great!

Best pizza in the area. Gluten-free pizza was even great 👍 I'd definitely recommend eating here. I was able to eat in this time, and I'll say, the young man who sat us had made the experience. He was genuinely excited to be there, friendly, and even seemed jovial. He is a definite asset to the team. If you're in Moose Lake, stop by and eat at Poor Gary's, I guarantee you will not be disappointed!

Great little pizza shop. Stopped in for the first time this past weekend. Excellent pizza and a very friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place.

I don't know who Gary is, but he makes great pizza. I forgot to add extra cheese, it wasn't needed due to their gracious toppings. Great za! Watch out if you are fat like me, the front booths are not for you, sit in the back.

We went here to get some pizzas for supper the night of Agate Days so I know all the workers were completely wore out. They were all super friendly and sweet despite being exhausted. We ordered a chicken and wild rice pizza and a taco pizza. Both were delicious. Will definitely be back next time we’re in the area. Thanks so much for a great supper and for being so nice.

The food was good. We had a pizza with a thin crust.

Ordered take out for fam while cruising up North on 35. Very patient staff taking my order via phone with poor connection. Was told 30 minutes on a Friday evening and food ready right on time. Favorite from our orders was Meatball Sub

Stellar service, awesome pizza, cold beer! Perfect stop on 35

Take out pizza for us but this was a really great surprise. Dough was great and toppings were plentiful and fresh. We had a supreme and bacon cheeseburger pizza and the cheese bread was very, very good. Lots of leftovers as well.

This place is great! We ordered a 12 inch sub for an adult and small child. The lady (very warm, friendly eyes, gorgeous dark brown hair) who took our order graciously offered to cut the sandwich in half then two 4 inch sections with the one half. Additionally, they even held the toppings that the child did not care for. On top of that, they put lil sandwich in its own container.

While we waited, one of the other workers started chatting with us and made us feel welcome. I thought I knew him at first as he seemed like a very genuine guy. Upon exiting, the lady thanked us and flashed a big smile under her COVID mask and waved goodbye to our little one. Talk about customer service that exceeds expectations!

Aside from that, the sub was delicious! Great meats, crunchy veggies, and fresh bread. Plus, they also give you potato chips. We will back again to enjoy the great subs, customer service, and support a small business. We enjoyed it! So will yoi!

Hopefully, we can sample the pizza buffet next time.

I had meatball sandwich and side salad and my sister had small pizza and salad. All food was awesome!

Ordered 2 large pizzas for take out. Our order was done in 20 minutes as stated. Pizza was delicious!
I will definitely go back, and would highly recommend!
