We take our dog there on a regular basis. The staff is great, always ready to help. We know that our dog is getting the best of care and that is a good feeling. Thank you for your care and consideration. I highly recommend this place.

I enjoy going here. I can bring my dog with. She can be somewhat skittish of new people. This is a smaller pet store but they have the basics plus a dog bath which I haven't used yet. They also carry my dogs favorite toy!!

Love the self-service dog wash and the grooming department for nail trims! Also received great nutritional advice. This store is an invaluable asset to the area!

Always helpful so glad I found a place that will help you so friendly won't go anywhere else for pet stuff.

First, even though they didn't have the exact brand of toy I was looking for, the staff still made me feel like my request was valued.

Second, they are super knowledgeable, friendly, kind and ready to help with any and all your pets needs, as far as I'm concerned. Even though I didn't spend any money (very particular pet), they know what they're doing and would love to come back with a purpose soon.

Lastly, they allow your animal to come in. But please be careful not to step on their kitty. Meow!

Amazing store with a seemingly handpicked selection of goods. So many options of trusted brands that branching out to new products is very easy. Thank you to the owner(s) for providing a place like this that petowners can trust for a variety of products. I live rather far away but hope I can return soon!

My dog, Nala, and I had so much fun here! We were just traveling. Stayed overnight at the motel next door and we went to The Pet Authority the next morning. I was amazed at the great selection, variety, quality, and prices. It really was a gem in Albert Lea. I've been to much larger cities and haven't found pet stores this nice with such friendly, wonderful staff. We got some great stuff for good prices and Nala is very happy we stopped by. Both staff members gave great advice on products and gave Nala a treat. Make sure to stop by if you're passing through with your furry friend or if you're going to bring something home for them. Also if you're traveling, they have a dog wash station which is nice.

I love the variety and choices, but the prices are shocking to me! Lol I guess some people are simple and wealthy enough to shop here regularly. Not me.
The prices might be justified a little bit by knowledgeable staff, but there also, shocking. SMH

I was traveling and my dog got into some pretty stinky mud. I googled and found The Pet Authority in Albert Lea which was so convenient to where we were, so I stopped in (no phone call to them). Amanda was incredibly understanding and while she didn’t have availability to wash him herself, she was so very helpful and kind to me. He was so very happy to be there that I was unable to shop much-however, I did pick up a few ala carte items and he absolutely loved them. They were decently priced-so much better than other places !!! Everything I noticed in the store was very high quality! A great big thanks to Amanda!!

The owner and her employees are so very helpful. If you have a question the owner herself will even interrupt her dinner to come out and patiently answer all your questions and provide solutions. She knows about all her products and you can trust they are quality foods and supplies for your pets. Very! clean store plus well organized.

Amazing store!! They have TONS of natural dog and cat food, including raw options (frozen & freeze dried), goat milk and bone broth, and tons of great treats! They have big bags of food and smaller ones. Lots of toys. Stuff for other pets, too (like reptiles and hamsters). AND they have cookies from their dog bakery in Austin, all human grade!! We took our doggo in there for her Gotcha Day and we spoiled her rotten. The staff was so friendly and helpful, too. Definitely stop in for all your pet needs!

Quality pet food dry, canned & raw food. many natural treats of all kinds!& all kinds of pet supplies! Cat trees! Cat nip!😊😊😊 & also pet grooming! And bath station!

We've gone to the Pet Authority for grooming and pet supplies for quite a while now but today was our first experience in the "Dog Wash". Oh my goodness- I will NEVER fight my dog in a bathtub ever again! We were able to walk right in, they provided the shampoo and it smelled amazing! The tub is high and although a bit reluctant, Simon Sniff had no problem getting into it. (I did see they have a ramp available as well). They have a dog tie right in the tub so we tied him up and the hose was amazing with a variety of spray settings. Once all washed up we used the hair dryer and provided towels to dry him off. It was less than $20! Our at home baths cost more than that in anxiety meds, advil and bandaids! ;-) We will be back for sure- thank you for an amazing service to the Albert Lea Community!

I didn't know this place existed! I had to ask somebody where I could find cat treats and they recommended this place, and boy am I glad they did! Because I could not find my cat treats anywhere in the Albert Lea! The Pet Authority was the only place where I could find my cat's treats!! And I bought all of them! And the personnel was real nice! When I asked if they could order more, they said yes and they said they would keep them in stock for me! And they asked if I wanted any specific flavor! How awesome is that? The service here is awesome and the variety was awesome too! Check this place out!! 👍👍

This a 10 star business. Responsive, caring , knowledgeable and the best place anywhere to bring your pets. Healthy food, fantastic management, EXCELLENT CARING Groomers. Reasonably priced (these are quality products and services being supplied). AND my very shy dog loves them. Hi from Nibs and Trap, thanks for being here in AL.

Extremely pet friendly. The owner knows her products really well. Went in with my puppy a couple weeks ago and she helped me get the perfect things for my pup.

Absolutely love this place! They carry a great selection of real quality foods, very reasonably priced for what they are. My dogs especially enjoy the selection of treats. The staff are so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! So nice to have this store locally.

Only place my girlfriend and I get our GSD food and toys. Moose and Starlight also love coming into the store and seeing new dogs! Treats and loving owner and employees!
Just crazy nostalgia though, I can remember from the early 90s looking at carpet on rolls with my parents as it used to be a what, hareware type store? Can't remember for sure.

My family and I both shop between the Austin and Albert Lea locations! Michelle and her team are both very knowledgeable and super friendly at both locations! My favorite thing about the girls at Pet Authority is that they always remember my fur babies by name and always ask how they are doing and Liking the products that they are on! Thank you Pet Authority for always going above and beyond!
