LOVE this place. We come here every time we’re in town. Kids get so excited to look through all the great candy and sweets. Old school candy store that you just don’t see anymore. Nostalgic candy and things you can’t find anywhere else. A must visit in Pentwater.

We've been visiting Cosmic Candy every year since they opened. It's always a fun time walking around and lookng at the various types of candy and flavored popcorn they sell. My wife laughed watching all the kids pick thru and eat all the free candy from the bottom of the jelly bean dispenser. Lol If you're a fan of gummie worms, they sell some of the LARGEST gummi candy you'll ever see! We would like to see them get in more nostalgic and/or hard to find candies from the 60's and 70's. One word of caution, don't let your kids shop by themselves. The candy isn't cheap and can add up fast $$$!

So much candy and sweets in this store! We tried a lot of old candy and new candy that we’ve never even heard of. They had quite the variety of fancy sodas, and hard dip ice cream. The bulk candy was reasonable, 13.99 a pound.

A fun experience to enjoy with family or friends. The popcorn selection is massive and they have deals where if you buy enough bags, you get one free. I reccomend the Hawaiian candied popcorn.
If you are a fan of the movie Big, they have a Zoltar machine that is useable. I can't promise that it will make you a kid again.
If you are a fan of old woodstove, they have a beautiful piece of art to admire (see picture).
Lots to see and a friendly environment for taking fun pictures.

Stopped by around opening today and they had a decent selection of popcorn and sweets. The young woman working there was very kind and helpful!

Fun place with all of the candy you can imagine. I learned that a pound of fruity sour balls is a lot of candy! Staff were extremely friendly.

I think my husband likes the store as much as the kids. Staff is always very friendly.

I wish I had taken pictures of this cool sweet shop!! There are so many choices for sweets you may have seen or not. Lots of retro candy choices, retro and odd flavor sodas, bulk taffy and gummy candy, and lots of chocolate options.

There's also cool drink options and ice cream! A very fun place to check out in Pentwater!!

Yup, I thought so: This is where we finally found *the best* hard candy we'd been trying to track. Not surprising given their selection of old-fashioned candy. (They also have Pentwater popcorn, icecream, and indoor/ outdoor seating.)
P.S. I'm partial to this iconic Pentwater shop. It's where our youngest got to spend her first allowance 13 years ago <3

One of the coolest shops around! If you've got a sweet-tooth this is place to go!

They have the greatest candy selection from old school to new things I haven't heard of haha. The popcorn is amazing and comes in any flavor you could think of.

We look forward to visiting Cosmic Cardy every summer on vacation for our candy, popcorn, and ice cream fixes! Our favorite items include the chi mix popcorn (caramel covered cheddar), and for me, the cake butter ice cream with yellow cake chunks is the best. Salted caramels are good, but you can't go wrong with any of the chocolate, gummies, or other candies. Oh, and they also have Zoltar who will give you your fortune! Make time to visit Pentwater and Cosmic Candy if you're within an hours drive. Bring the family, or come with friends. It's a very cool place to spend all day visiting and supporting small businesses.

Great selection, friendly staff, nice and clean. They have a huge variety of sweets and a selecton of throwback candy including set boxes of 70s and 80s candies and more. Even found some Harry Potter candy and various other novelties. Great stuff! Drinks too!

We vacation every year to Pentwater and this is our favorite place to visit!

The popcorn is so delicious and I can’t believe the number of flavors. The candy that they have is so amazing and absolutely nostalgic. I love showing my kids all the candies I enjoyed as a kid and am so happy I can share that joy with them!

When the wife and I went here 11 years ago on our first vacation as a couple we loved it. Went back with our 3 kids today and I'm so glad to see that not much has changed. The unique popcorn flavors to the terrific candy selection this place has something for everyone. The staff was very helpful. Support this terrific business!

An awesome place to visit for the whole family. I swear our visit this summer to Pentwater was somewhat dreadful when it came to finding good service. One ice cream shop literally closed the window on my entire family several minutes prior to their listed closing time with us standing at the window. We walked into Cosmic the next day and the kids felt like they were in a different world. The ski theme is really fun. The quality of ice cream and candy products was excellent. And best of all the prices were very fair. So much so that we did a second family visit on the way out of town yesterday.

The owner was polite and truly genuine when it came to having a conversation. He mentioned their plans to open a store in Grand Rapids. We're excited to have you in West Michigan and will pay you a visit when it happens.

This place is really cool! If you want candy this is he place for you - every kind of candy you can think of from the newest trendy candy to old favorites. I liked that I was able to pick out my favorite Jelly Belly beans and buy them by weight. Sales by weight are possible for most candies here.
