Gull Landing

Wow! The Gull is back! I almost hate to post this in fear we will have a wait if word gets out. Breakfast was perfect, food came out hot and exactly how we asked (pancake with raspberry jam was to die for), bacon and hash browns were crispy as we requested, and sourdough toast was like a dessert. Service with a smile, which is so hard to come by these days. Ask for Holly, she’s AMAZING!! Bloody Mary’s paired perfectly with the view of Pentwater Lake and the marina! Don’t pass by, come in and give it a try. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner 9a-8p Thursday, Friday, Sat, Sun for off season through Dec.

I don't want to oversell this, but here goes: Gull Landing may just have the best Reuben I have ever eaten! Our excellent server said that the owner basically took the best things from his favorite restaurants and built the menu off of those dishes. It works! All of our food was excellent both times we visited, the service was good and the location and atmosphere are perfect for this charming harbor town!

2022 The cod was outstanding. We had a table outside and it was worth the wait. All kids approved of their meals, and the marinara shells were sooo good! The owner of the restaurant, Dianne, was working along side her staff, and it is clear she has pride in her business. There is also indoor dining.

Back in 2023 and Hailey, our server, was awesome! Everything was delicious and there were no leftovers! I had the chicken club and it was gigantic, the baked potato soup was perfect!

Amazing place for lunch. So worth waiting to eat. Great outdoor area with umbrellas and facing the water. Our waiter, Holly, was absolutely Fantastic! Great drink choices, and they have awesome strawberry lemonade. We didn't plan on stopping here, but we're so glad we did! 👍😍

Last night my wife and I ate here for the first time. We were seated at a nice table on the patio. We started with the calamari appetizer, which was fried perfectly and was excellent. For our entrees my wife had the salmon and I had the walleye special with an artichoke topping. Again both were excellent and and cooked perfectly. Our server Jamie, was very attentive and friendly. We vacation in Ludington for the summer and this is one of the best meals we have had all season. My only suggestion is to have something chocolate for dessert.

Food was excellent! We got the salmon bao buns appetizer and salads and the salmon was so good! Highly recommend! Our waitress was Holly and she was so sweet and checked back on us often even though it was the Labor Day weekend and she was clearly very swamped. Definitely check it out!

Great food and great atmosphere. Our server was Sammy and she was super helpful and very on top of the table. She suggested the Lemon Zest Chicken and I’m so glad she did because it was really really good. I could tell the chef is passionate about their work. The lemon zest was perfect. Thank you so much. This place was excellent. Cashew crusted walleye was amazing along with the baked acorn squash and cocktails. Thomas, our server was great too. This was the best dining experience we have had yet on our 2 week trip in michigan. The patio and sun helped too.

I’m not going to lie, I was about to be a “Karen” and give them a one star because I messaged them three times on Facebook about their menu and no response even though they read all three messages. However, been going to this restaurant about once a year for the last 20 years and decided to go on a Sunday night. This was the BEST experience we’ve ever had here and I think it’s all to do with the new management. Prices went up (as expected), but the service, food and drinks were the best we’ve ever had here. We had Lizzy as our waitress and she was phenomenal. Both the walleye and salmon were exceptional! Drinks no longer taste like toilet water, they now give you a second side, and portions appear to be bigger (and better). Well done, new management!

Omelets were delicious. Cinnamon bread was a treat. Coffee was great. Service was perfect. Sometimes it's the little things like a warm plate that keeps your meal warm until the end.

This place is our absolute favorite! The fish tacos are to die for, and the crab bisque is incredible. On top of that, we have only have excellent service. Must try!

It was CRAZY busy when we went yesterday, to be expected it being the day before a holiday. But we still got excellent service from Elizabeth our server. You could tell that she knew her stuff. They also are very kid friendly. High chairs, changing tables in both the men's and women's restrooms and a great kid's menu. And the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend!

We’ve been to Gull Landing 3 times since the new ownership/chef and can’t get enough. Just amazing food! We really enjoyed everything especially the cashew crusted walleye with mashed redskin potatoes and acorn squash and the Michigan cherry salad. Just perfect!!

What a great place to stop for a bite to eat. It couldn't have been a more beautiful day and sitting out on the patio with this view was just perfect. I had the fish tacos and they were very good. I would highly recommend Gull Landing for lunch or dinner.

The first time the place was packed. The weather was hot the hostess overworked, but still keeping everything together, making everyone happy.
The servers, were friendly, courteous and never left us wanting.

First time here and loved it. Sat outside while the band (w/Lucas Holiday) was playing... Absolutely an awesome experience! We had a table of six, four people ordered ruben sandwich w/fries, huge portions, they couldn't eat it all. My cousin had meatloaf and mashed potatoes and enjoyed every bite. I am a vegetarian and I was happy to have several options to order and I decided on the pasta which was scrumptious. The beer was ice cold and the wait staff kept them coming. We laughed and got autographs! We look forward to another visit!

Very good jazz performers on Sunday evening. Service was good. Food was good. Thai chicken was very good.

Great food, lovely atmosphere, good service. Can get busy at times, especially if you have a large group, but we go here every year when camping at Mears State park!

Love this restaurant, every visit to this lovely town has to have one meal at the Landing! The fish us always fresh, plentiful and delicious. From the walleye with the cherry glaze to the grouper sandwich to the perch dinner I had it was scrumptious. The perch pieces were large, hearty and tasty with a light breading so you taste the fresh Michigan perch. The patio is always a great place to dine and the service was exceptional even as busy as they were. Hannah did an amazing job as she was very attentive to everyone's needs. If you're in town, you'll not go wrong having dinner at the Landing!
