I wish I could give higher than 5 stars! This was our second winter stay in this adorable cottage! We just love it. It is spotlessly clean, absolutely cozy and has everything we could need! Highly recommend!!!

We enjoyed our stay at the Channel Lane. Location was within walking distance to downtown, our room was comfortable and having a kitchenette we were able to cook our own meals. Dealing directly with the owners and not a booking agency was nice also. If you are heading to Pentwater I would recommend Channel Lane Inn.

My friend and I were walking in Pentwater and saw the Channel Lane Inn and decided what a wonderful location and place to stay. So we meet with Lisa, to find a date when all rooms were open. We learned fast our popular this place was and in 2022 reserved the 6 kitchenettes and 2-bedroom suite. Lisa was exceptional and proficient to work with in organizing what we needed to know for the weekend, Sept 28-Oct.1, 2023. There was 23 of us with lots of positives of how nice and clean all was, wonderful location by the Channel and beach and wanting to return again. The weather was sunny and warm, the fall shopping enticing and the sailing a fun adventure. All within a short walk to enjoy.

Been coming to this location 14 yrs as a "sister retreat". Already looking forward to next year's visit. Lisa, the owner, is like family.

We stayed 2 nights in the 2 bedroom suite. 4 sisters getaway. The suite was great and had everything needed for a wonderful stay.

This place is amazing 😍 It's close to town and close to the beach. Everything was clean and well stocked. I loved that our dogs could be there with us and that part of the beach was dog friendly.

Another fabulous vacation at the Channel Lane Inn for nearly two weeks this past August/2021. Lisa and Shane (Innkeepers) are wonderful and will do everything to make ones stay perfect. The location is exceptional; with all of Pentwater's best features within walking distance. It is private, yet provides great people watching, as they travel to the beautiful channel walk breakwater. The Channel Lane Inn is always stocked with fresh towels, paper goods, fresh linens. The other vacation residents are fun and mostly regulars. Lisa and Shane allow guests and my longtime girlfriends look forward to joining us every year. The Channel Lane Inn is our yearly and forever vacation destination. It is the BEST!!! Get on the list!

Local guy needed a spatula for grilling on the beach with family and friends. Skated over to Channel Lane Inn while they were still open--just before sunset. The owners' husky greeted me at the door. They saved the night for us! Though I have not stayed here, history shows this family offers Pentwater's best.

My family has stayed at the Channel Lane Inn the past two years and we could not be happier. The owners are fantastic and do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The location is perfect - a short walk to the beach and a short walk into town. It is quiet, clean and comfortable. I would recommend the Channel Lane Inn to anyone for a great stay in Pentwater.

great little motel, prices are insanely low for the quality. kitchenettes come with stove burners and fridge. room was pretty big and everything was clean/updated. hotel dog is big, but very friendly

Although the weather was what is to be expected for February in Michigan, I imagine this is a jewel of a location in the summer!! The rates were great, the room was clean, spacious, with plenty of amenities. I'm unsure of what peak season rates are but it's definitely worth a stay for off season rates and quality of the experience overall. 👍👌

When I was looking for a cottage, I was wondering how come this place has such high rating. After I checked out on my own, I have to say it truly deserves its rating!

We booked the 1 bedroom cottage. The cottage is perfect size for a couple, or a couple with a small child, not too big and definitely not too small. And it has everything you need for staying for a week or longer, and all in very good condition! Especially the shower, enough water and pressure, which often disappointed me at many other motels.

Very nice location, 5 mins walking to the beach and nice little town, and 30mins driving to ludington state park.

We enjoyed our stay and definitely would like to go back some time soon!

Wonderful location and great little cottage room 7. Owners very friendly and helpful and so was the dog. If you want to stay somewhere without hustle and bustle of big hotels and Inn this is it. My sister and I loved our stay in April 2019.

Excellent place to stay in downtown Pentwater, loved the one bedroom cottage to play euchre with friends in the comfortable living area. Comfortable bed, super clean new bathroom and nice Kitchenette. The staff is super nice also!!!

Great room at a great price. Very clean. Good size kitchenette. Guest controls room temp. Fun location. Go get a burger down at the Brown Bear. I believe I paid off season price (mid-November). The front office was super friendly, even though I never had to see them face to face (late in, early out).

Always a wonderful five star experience at Channel Lane Inn. Most comfortable beds, excellent and friendly staff, and well stocked kitchenettes (wine opener!). I will be coming back for decades!
