Thrifty White Pharmacy

I had excellent service today at Thrifty White. My prescription was ready; they reminded me I was due for a 2nd vaccination which I had forgotten about and provided it in the same visit. It got busy while I waited a few minutes for my vaccination. They recoginzed it immediately, called for extra staff up front, and staffed all the service counters. All staff I encountered had a smile, and offered warm greetings to all being waited upon.

It’s the only place in town. The the staff is friendly.

The staff was friendly and very accommodating for both me and my wife during our Covid vaccine doses. I’m glad we found this location

I will acknowledge that I have agreed with the negative reviews of the Moose Lake Thrifty White in the past. But, there have been improvements! Associates have asked if they can help, and prescriptions have been ready. Associates have been friendlier too. That means a lot. Kudos to management and the store Associates. Keep it up!

I would have given this pharmacy a one star based on past experiences. Totally agreed on the bad reviews by other customers. BUT they have been working hard to make improvements and it is appreciated. I will continue to use this pharmacy and make appropriate adjustments to my rating. Thank you for your efforts!

Time management and scheduling is an issue. Scheduled online for flu vaccines, waited at least 30mins after that time before received them. Scheduled online for another vaccine, and still had to wait an hour. Online scheduling is pointless. When someone with a time after yours is seen well before others that had been waiting longer, it sends a message that the pharmacy is not reliable and you are not a valued customer. Will never schedule vaccines here again.

They rarely have a prescription ready on time. I have never not had an unnecessary wait or a short order..

I have recently moved to the area. On day two of my move I brought a list of all my medications and my old pharmacies contact information so that Thrifty White could complete the transfer as the receiving pharmacy as per the typical protocol when transferring pharmacies. I stopped in today to get my prescription filled ( I have eleven more refills so should not be a problem) and if they truly completed the transfer process on their end, I would not have encountered the phone call and conversation I had today with a pharmacy tech. She was rude, patronizing, and the least bit helpful. She stated prescription had already been filled in the city on the 17th and they could not fill it. I explained that I was notified by Walgreens that it was filled and waiting and I did not pick it up because I transferred to Thrifty White in October and if they took care of getting my records, this should not be an issue. The tech resentfully agreed to call Walgreens and she would get back to me (yet to happen). I am a retired Healthcare executive of 35 years and was appalled at the low level of customer service I encountered in a field that is there to support the continuum of care for healthcare needs. It is a shame because I have encountered so many nice people in the Moose Lake area. My message to Thrifty White is that it never works to fill positions with a warm body. Customers are more inclined to be understanding, even if understaffed if met with a warm smile, and a desire to exceed customer expectations.

Too bad there isn't a zero star or a negative star option for this place. Be prepared to do their job for them and still have no results. Lack of care or lack of knowledge in their field? Lack of both..

Wow. The ThriftyWhite in Moose Lake 3 times now has had 3 different reasons as to why my husband's steroid inhaler wasn't filled. Today I told them we would be switching pharmacys as he needs this. And you know what the staff said? Go for it. Nice. Real classy Thrifty White. Nothing is ever timely or right with them.

I drove through road construction and took 40 minutes to get there for them to say come back in 30 minutes. Came back, they still had nothing for me and told me to call my doctor. The doctors office said they had a confirmation receipt and that my prescription was definitely there and the pharmacy is known for not checking properly. When I told the pharmacy it had to be there they were extremely rude, blamed my doctor, and told me to wait for 20 more minutes. Very very poor customer service. They just don’t care.
