Dr. Memon has been the greatest in the last 12 yrs I've seen him. Never once ANY issues.

Very nice guy very polite very fast with his work though sometimes hard to understand but if you ask him nicely we'll always have beat himself

It's been a long time since I saw this doctor but it still bothers me with how I was treated and so severely dismissed from a mental health professional. When I was barely even an adult, I came to him for help. I have severe PTSD and anxiety. He talked over me, didn't let me explain my symptoms or how I was feeling. He treated my dad before and because my dad is bi polar, he didn't want to discuss anything else and that's what I had. No one ever cares to look at the prevalence of PTSD and how these symptoms can manifest. Since actually being able to voice my concerns and be my own advocate, that diagnosis has now been said I don't have it, multiple times. All it takes is a caring doctor who actually cares to update his education and information and not be going off the same information that psychology taught when institutionalization was very prevalent. If you didn't know, the patient informs of the treatment. It's not a one size fits all. It's pretty simple.

This is the worst doctor I have ever been to. He would not listen to my child, did not ask if she was suicidal, when my child said they were, he shrugged and said "It will get better". He was GOOGLING the answers to our questions, he continuously tried to prescribe medication she was allergic to, a total of three times until my daughter said "are you even looking at my information?" He prescribed two medications that would cost around $700 monthly after insurance, and it was only through a wonderful service rep at Blue Cross BS who found a generic version of the meds that would cost us $5 monthly that we could get the prescription filled. I am going to report him.

I have never left a review for anything before, but this needs it. I work in the mental health field myself, and I have never felt so dismissed. I went in severely struggling with ADD symptoms, and he spoke over me the whole appointment (which was only 10 minutes). He did not listen to my concerns at all. He then said, “if you truly have had undiagnosed ADD, you never would have made it to getting your Masters”…… WHAT. Without listening to me at all, he then started talking about mood swings and Bipolar.. when that’s not at all a concern.

This “doctor” canceled my appointment I scheduled two months ago 1 business day before it was to take place because he just now looked at his schedule to realize it was “too much” for him. I wonder what “too much” is to a struggling patient trying to see a new psychiatrist. I think I dodged one here.

Edit: after reading the “owner’s response,” I felt compelled to edit this. A chance to improve? This doctor canceled my appointment that was scheduled two months in advance with literally less than a business day before it was scheduled to take place AND then stated he was no longer accepting patients, leaving me high and dry and the other staff at the facility I was scheduled at with him scrambling to send me somewhere else because of how bad this really is. There’s really no “making this right.” I’ve never even seen this guy. It’s scary how easy it is for doctors to mess with a patient’s wellbeing and think they can get away with it while the other party ends up profoundly impacted and potentially struggling even more as a result. This type of treatment has occurred far too often. The right authorities need to know. My life is just as important as yours!
