Shish Kabob Garden

Today was our first time trying this restaurant. Pictured is the dinner for four on their menu. Overall, the service and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. The food was much better than I expected. This is probably the best Middle Eastern food in a 20 mile radius. I highly recommend you give them a try.

First time here and by far the best Mediterranean food I’ve had. Meat grape leaves were amazing, never had them with yogurt dip and it was a great pairing, the warm rolls with garlic spread hit the spot, house salad was very flavorful, hummus with lamb was on point,
Everything on the lamb combo was great.
And for desert was Kunfa. Fried philo dough with sweet cream cheese filling and syrup with pistachios crumbs.
Ima leaving with a big carry out bag a fat full belly and worth every bite.
Can’t wait to come back to try some more items.

The last time I was here it was under previous ownership. A lovely couple has taken it over and put their focus on putting out quality food at a reasonable price with great service. Went there for lunch with the girls today and we got the platter for 4. We ate u til we couldn’t and still had enough food let over for everyone to take some home tomorrow’s lunch. Fabulous! Give it a try. You won’t be sorry.

Had dinner with my family and the food was fantastic. Everyone loved what they ordered and the servings were enough that we could take food home. We'll definitely be back.

Owners are very personable and food is amazing everytime. You always get plenty to take home . My favorite is the hot Arabic tea and the veggie combo. 😋

This was our first time here and I have to say we will certainly be regulars! The new owners are an amazing couple that offer an extensive menu of Mediterranean/Lebanese entrees. My husband and I were hooked from the minute the house bread and salad came out. This should definitely be a “must try” on your list of dining options. You will not be disappointed!!

The food was delicious!! With excellent service, the staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. The price was really good for all of the food we ate. Ambiance is nice, quiet, clean. I can’t wait to eat there again! The shish kabob combo was excellent! The bread you get with the meal is airy and tasty! The cheese bread was delicious and if you like garlic the dipping sauce was very good. I highly recommend this restaurant!! Definitely give this place a try the new owners are a great and welcome any questions.

Shish Kabob Garden is a hidden gem for food lovers and in the Monroe Community . Their Shish Tawook is a burst of flavor with tender chicken that truly stands out. The oven-fresh pita is a delightful pairing, and the toum sauce, loaded with garlic goodness, takes it up a notch. The service is warm and friendly, creating a cozy atmosphere that adds to the overall enjoyment of the dining experience. It's a definite recommendation for anyone craving not just delicious food but also a welcoming ambiance.

This is a much needed addition to Monroe. Came in on Sunday night and it wasn't too busy. Service was excellent. The waitress was there every time to refill drinks and ask if we needed more of anything.
We got the dinner for 2 and it is very reasonably priced. They give you so much food! I'm sure it could feed at least 4! Meat was fresh and grilled to perfection! The rice is so good too!
Even my picky kid said the pizza she ordered was the best.
I had the cheese dessert (kunafa). I had always wanted to try it. Perfect balance of cheese and sweetness!
This place is a wonderful addition to Monroe for sure!!!

I normally don't write reviews, but with this place, I feel I have to. It is amazing. The food is so good. The portions are large. Everything was perfect. We got the sampler platter, added meat pies and a cheese bread. It was all so very good! Will definitely come back!

Delicious food! The owner served us and was very friendly and attentive. I got the veggie combo which was HUGE and my friend got the shawarma sandwich, both tasted amazing, and the fresh juices are to die for!

No need to travel far for good authentic Lebanese food but if you are from out of town, your trip will not disappoint! Newly opened in Monroe is a place where you can get delicious middle eastern food. The portions were great. I loved the homemade warm bread with garlic sauce on the side. The lamb vegetable soup was perfect for a cold fall day. Our table had Shish Tawook, beef shwarma, lamb soup, tabouli, Turkish coffee and baklava. It was all outstanding! The owners really care about service and do a great job! I could say more good things about food. It will definitely be a stop for us when we come into town.

Food was very tasty. I enjoyed my meals all three times I have been there. The service is amazing. The waitress/owner is very kind. Please be patient. They're just getting started and haven't hired additional help yet. It's all family cooking, taking orders and waiting tables. The art on the walls is beautiful. I don't understand all these bad reviews saying the staff is rude or the food is disgusting.

Finally got to this restaurant and so pleased we made it! Food and service were both amazing. You can put this little Monroe gem up against the yummiest places in Dearborn, Detroit, or Birmingham. I'm really excited with what the new management has done with the menu. The food really is so, so good! This is going on our regular rotation!

I just wanted to shout out Shish Kabob Garden, my family and I went in about 3 times in a week because of how good it was. This restaurant does not get the recognition it deserves, it’s quite honestly the best food I’ve ever had. The new owners are a couple, running it on their own. We had the pleasure of sitting down in the restaurant and having a conversation with them and they’re the sweetest people. We’ve tried several things from there and it’s all amazing. From the shawarma, sauces, meat, rice and more. PLEASE if you want to try something new, check the place out, you won’t regret it. If I had the money I’d honestly eat here everyday because of how good it is.

Service was excellent, our combo platter was huge and delicious. Desserts are great too!

A fantastic experience with amazing food. Felt welcome when walking in the door. The friendly staff was just the start. The flavors upon flavors is incredible. Delightful time enjoying the sampler. Will be back and will recommend to friends.

Wonderful food and great service! We had the combo platter for 4. So much delicious food, plenty to share and still have enough for leftovers to split amongst our group. We will definitely be back!

I forgot to take pic before we started eating, but the food was amazing! The hospitality was also amazing! Very happy this place is near me, not many places downriver and none in Monroe comparable! Will be a regular choice when going out to eat!!! Ifyou have picky kids, there are several sandwiches to choose from, and their smoothies are really good! pictured below is the chicken gallaba spicy, fabulous! fabulous
