They schedule patients so there is never a wait over a few minutes. Dr. Hulsemann always takes the time to listen to you. The office staff is always courteous and helpful.

Always listens to me, never makes me feel like I don't matter. Explains things to me in terms that I can understand. Very warm and comforting.

Love Dr. Hulsemann. She is very patient and kind and I always have a great experience when I see her.

I saw the doc on Tuesday. Called Friday for help with a servere pain issue. Office was not helpful and very rude. I don't know if I will be returning to this office, very disappointed ☹

What is the deal with your staff, especially the African American woman at your front counter? I'm typing this for my wife, a potentially new patient Who is so upset right now she didn't wanna type of herself out of fear for which you would say. She related the story to me about how she was spoken to by this woman and if it were my practice she would be out the door. I manage employees and I know what it takes. My wife's insurance wasn't showing up as active so it took 5 minutes to straighten it out on the phone then she was told by this woman "you need to hurry, He needs to fax that information asap! you're already into your appointment! I guess time is money right? Heaven forbid you give a new patient a couple minutes to clarify their Insurance coverage. You might claim you are a Christian based business but the people at your front desk certainly don't exemplify Jesus Christ. They certainly don't come across as if they have the love of Christ shed abroad in their hearts. Enjoy the review. you earned it.

Horrible staff and very negligent doctor. Never ever should a patient be ignored for over a week with a 102 degree fever. After a week of high fevers, extreme pain, and trouble breathing, without any response from Dr. Hulsemann the office staff had the nerve to yell at me and ask me what exactly I wanted. I simply stated I’d like to speak to my dr since she refuses to see me because of covid. For a dr to ignore a patient in desperate need of care is absolutely unacceptable! Do yourself a favor and find a doctor that doesn’t treat their patients like a inconvenience like this one does.

I passed out at-home and was brought in by ambulance with bruised ribs and busted face and they wanted to keep me for observation due too needing potassium added and the ER DR AND NURSE I HAD WERE AWESOME. THEN DR PHOENIX THE ATTENDING FLOOR DR CAME IN AND ACUSED ME OF DR SHOPPING AND LOOKING FOR PILLS AND I NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS BY A DR IN MY LIFE. THEN HE TOLD ME GO HOME AND CALL HOSPICE AND THEY WOULD WRITE ME ANY MEDS I WANTED TOTALLY AN UNPERFESIONAL DR. I WOULD NEVER REFER DR PHOENIX TO ANYONE

While in care, absolutely wonderful Doctor. However, had a MAJOR billing issue which they refused to resolve and decided that instead of fixing the issue, they released me from their care. Really liked dr Hulsemann, but the fact that they were incorrectly addressing the bills that contained my private information was apparently too much to fix. It is a federal law that I cannot open mail addressed to someone else. And the fact that it was addressed to someone who I did not give permission for them to share my medical information with made it so much worse! All I wanted them to do was make sure bills were addressed to ME. THE PATIENT. But they decided I was too much of a hassle. Extremely unfortunate and absolutely terrible timing for my medical concerns. Would not recommend purely due to how they treated me over this issue. So simple and yet treated with extreme attitude and harshness. I was never rude about it. Just told them it was literally a crime for me to open my bills and for them to be sharing confidential info with someone not permitted.... I just wanted a simple change and they refused multiple times before dropping me.
For anyone concerned with this issue, they were addressing it to the primary insurance holder, who I have never released my medical information to. Even the insurance company was confused as to why they were doing this. I've never had a problem at any other dr office.

Wish I didn't even have to leave a star. What a joke this Dr is. Totally accusing me of being an abuser to medications. All I wanted was one medicine upped to one higher of a milligram. Ran a report on me as if I'm a junkie. Totally and utterly embarrassed and offended by this Dr. I have NEVER been treated like this before. I will NEVER go back and I'll NEVER give a recommendation to this place either. She didn't even give me a chance to explain any of the other major issues I'm experiencing either. I'm back to square one for a Dr that will actually take the time to listen and hear you. And also it's not my fault MONROE MICHIGAN IS FULL OF USELESS JUNKIES! that's all the doctors fault. So thanks a whole lot for absolutely nothing.

And I was recommended to her by my sister in law. I wanted a new doctor and I end up being wrongfully accused and discriminated against me. She made an absolute ASS out of herself for assuming. Not everyone is a pill abuser. I have one ovary and it's barely functioning properly and couldn't even get a chance to talk about anything!!!!!!
I have damn good health insurance, I'm not on the state insurance.
I'm taking my complaint to someone higher.

Just because you are a Dr, doesn't mean you are above anyone else. Step off your high horse. How dare you for insinuating that I abuse medications.

The convenience of the staff rules all. Not at all helpful or making effort to reach best outcome. Jump through all the office hoops, you might get help if they are in the right mood.
