Mike was great at communicating prior to our trip. He was accommodating when, due to weather we wanted to pivot from kayak fishing to fishing from a boat.
He knew the lake well and moved us around to keep catching walleye.
Mike was patient as he taught us new and different techniques of fishing.
We are looking forward to our next excursion.

Mike took my 12yo son, 11yo daughter, and myself out for a waterfall fishing excursion during the day and the wife joined the yooper stone educational tour at night. All I can say is that it was AWESOME! Mike is passionate about the beauty of the UP and loves to share it. I would highly recommend trying to book him for a trip. We had a group of 7 and it was our first time ice fishing. Mike and crew were very knowledgeable and helpful. We booked last minute due to snowmobiling getting cancelled and Mike offered a time slot not listed online to accommodate our schedule. We had a great time and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a great experience.

I don't normally feel compelled to leave reviews online, but this was hands down the coolest hiking/fishing experience I've ever had. Mike and Hannah were extremely helpful and down to earth. That, combined with their vast knowledge of the area and the fish that inhabit it, made them the exact kind of people you'd want leading you through this experience.

If you're looking for a one of a kind activity with unforgettable views, for very reasonable pricing, this is it. Oh and they made a fire at the end of the hike so we could cook up some fish and have some lunch before heading out. Some of the best food I've had.

No experience or fishing gear required. Drove 6 hours just for this and I'd have been happy to drive much further. 100% will be back for another fishing experience with Marquette Adventures Guide Service.

Mike took us out on Lake Superior ice fishing. He had everything set up and comfy. Had a great time!

Tried steelhead fishing all spring on my own with no luck, but hooked one within 10 minutes during an outing with him. Does a great job of explaining techniques and giving helpful pointers. Really knowledgeable of the rivers and where the fish are. Mike is very easy going and a lot of fun! If you're looking for a great day of catching fish, any one of his trips is worthwhile!

This was such an awesome trip! With it being 53° and raining the entire day I was skeptical. It was the best guided trip I have ever been on. We took our dog (not recommended unless you have full confidence your dog can rock climb) and she shocked us with her abilities! Mike and Hannah went above and beyond sending us around MQT with additional adventures to check out. We will be going back and we will be using him again!!

We hired Mike and his guides for multiple outings of waterfall fishing as part of a celebration of life for my 18yo son. We had family that ranged from 15 to early 70's and my son's friends that were 18-20yo. Mike and his guides were able to make sure that everyone had an amazing time and it was clear that an incredible amount of effort went in to making sure that everything went perfect for our outings. My wife and I had a wonderful time with Mike and his guide service. I can honestly say it was one of the best guided trips I've ever taken. The scenery was unbelievable and I went to school in Colorado and this was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the area. Mike has some tours catered to outdoor enthusiasts. If you are confident in your skill set let him know and he will take you to some very cool places. My wife and I both really appreciated his willingness to take us off the beaten path. Ask Mike about some of his extras he offers, we did a catch and cook which is a rare that you can do that. He did say that was a special case but it was so fun. Highly recommend.

Mike is an amazing guide! I have very little experience with fishing and so his patience in being able to explain what to do and how to do it really meant a lot. He's a great instructor and the scenery where he takes you fishing is incredible.

When you plan your honeymoon around a fishing trip, it’s hard not to have high expectations. But we were definitely not disappointed! We booked this trip 6 months in advance and every question we had in the mean time got answered so fast. Once we started fishing Mike lead us from spot to spot until we found some fish! (which I know doesn’t always happen but so glad we got lucky). We had ZERO experience river fishing for salmon. My husband caught on a lot quicker than I did but Mike got us through all the tangles, snags and bad casts without even batting an eye. I would recommended Marquette Adventures Guide Services to anyone at all skill levels looking to fish the beautiful waters of Marquette. Being with someone with so much knowledge of the waters was great. Thanks again Mike! We will see you next year!

It was a great trip and Cory really helped to make us feel comfortable. We had a lot of fun!

I have now done 2 trips with Mike. I did a waterfall and fishing half day with them a few weeks ago and just got back from a guys trip where we hiked waterfalls and fished rainbow trout along with a cookout in the woods to cap it off. Both trips were amazing and worth every penny. We got away from the main tourist stuff and were able to see the real nature of the UP. Got to fish at the base of all the waterfalls and caught a bunch of fish. Mike is very knowledgeable and makes it a good time no matter what. Drove 6 hours just to do another trip with them and my group is already talking about going back.

Mike was a great guide! My boyfriend and I love brook trout fishing but wanted to see some new water and learn some different techniques! Mike brought us to a spot we’d never been before and showed us some new tricks too! He is very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. We caught a bunch of brookies and had a great time! Highly recommend any kind of fishing with Mike

Mike and Jason were great! When we arrived the tent and tip ups were already set up ready to roll. We went for a half day and landed 6-7 pike, a few pan fish, and a 2 bass. They supplied everything and were very helpful with teaching us the ropes. Would definitely recommend these guys for a summer or winter adventure!

Mike got us in on short notice! Originally 2 people and ended up be 3 but he made it work! He has lots of patience and top rate gear and tackle! Will be back with him as soon as we can! Well worth the time!

My first time using a guide service. Me and my wife had a blast! Cory was an absolute pleasure to spend time with on the Bay! The service came with all the bells and whistles. Definitely will be back next year for burbot if I can time it right.
