Americas Best Value Inn Marquette

I recently visited America's Best Value Inn at 1010 M-28, in Marquette, MI. This hotel was a very adequate facility that had a nice staff and was able to provide nice service when I extended my stay by an extra day. The facility is only about five miles from downtown Marquette which made it easy to come and go with no issues. The rooms were nice and had plenty of.room for what I needed to get done during my stay.

Such a lovely couple who have taken this inn and remodeled it. Beds are super comfy. Convenient yet in a quiet safe area from the hustle and bustle. Subway and McDonalds across the street. Grab and go breakfast of granola bars, fruit, cereal, breads, peanut butter, jelly, yogurt, coffee, etc. Indoor pool looked nice. We took a chance and glad we did!

The staff was super friendly, and the room was clean. Checking in was easy, and though it's located outside of Marquette city, it's still within walking distance of a grocery store, food, and a gas station. Will definitely book there when we make future trips back to the UP

I recently stayed at this charming, family-owned hotel and had a wonderful experience. While the exterior may not look particularly impressive, the inside is a different story. The rooms are incredibly comfortable, and the cozy bed ensured we had a great night's sleep. The owner is exceptionally nice and helpful, making our stay even more pleasant. Additionally, the price is very reasonable, especially considering the free breakfast included. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable stay with excellent service.

A Stellar Transformation - Highly Recommended!

I recently stayed at Americas Best Value Hotel in Marquette, Michigan, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed by the remarkable transformation this hotel has undergone. Having heard about its past reputation, I was initially hesitant, but I am delighted to report that my experience was nothing short of exceptional.

The entire hotel has been meticulously remodeled, and it shows. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that significant effort and care had been invested in the renovations. The floors are pristine, the walls and drywall are impeccably finished, and the curtains and accessories add a touch of elegance to the rooms.

As someone with severe allergies, I was particularly concerned about the cleanliness of the environment. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spotless, with no trace of dust, pet dander, or any other allergens that typically trigger my symptoms. This attention to detail in maintaining a clean and allergen-free environment truly made my stay comfortable and worry-free.

We were in Marquette to visit my cousin, who just received a full-ride scholarship to a Division 1 college, and our stay at Americas Best Value Hotel made the trip even more memorable. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our needs were met throughout our stay.

Overall, I highly recommend Americas Best Value Hotel to anyone visiting Marquette. Their dedication to quality and guest satisfaction is evident in every aspect of the hotel. Kudos to the management and staff for turning around the hotel’s reputation and providing such a pleasant experience.

This hotel has a not so good look from the outside but the rooms were amazingly comfortable, very clean, room and the a/c worked great.
The staff was over the top as far as service and were really, really nice.
Angel was really accommodating, kind and just awesome. She actually deserves a raise or promotion. Seriously.

We ideally stay at the superior stay in Marquette but their rates were higher than the last time we stayed. However, after staying here I think this is going to be our go to. The rooms were nice and had hardwood ( which I prefect since I have a baby under 1 that is crawling, and crawling on hotel carpet grosses me out). The front desk was super friendly and gave us some really nice recommendations on dinner. The pool was nice and there is a nice seating area outside that attached to the pool. Over all the hotel had a nice homey feel. I would definitely recommend staying here if you have children or pets.

Another bonus is the location. If you don’t like lots of city noise but don’t want to have to drive 30 min to go to the store or dinner, this is the one for you. The target,Walmart, and Meijers are about 10-15 min away.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. We are traveling across the UP and site seeing and we made a last minute stop here for the night. The gal that worked the front desk when we checked in was absolutely amazing and knowledgeable of the area. The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a traditional continental breakfast with pastries, cereal, and oatmeal. We would stay here again.

Perfect location for accessibility and sightseeing. Super friendly staff. For a tourist, I was met with knowledgeable individuals who could point me in any direction I needed to go. The indoor pool was nice as well. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

We stayed here on our way up to the Keweenaw peninsula and had a wonderful stay! The owners were great and very accommodating. As someone who grew up in the hotel industry, I can say with certainty that the rooms are well cleaned. This will definitely be our go-to hotel when in Marquette. Thanks again!

Convenient location for the wedding that we would be attending. Rooms were clean, no carpets! Every staff member we interacted with was nice. Some we interacted with several times! We were having trouble with the TV remote. A staff member found fresh batteries, and as we are trying them, she is standing in the doorway. She told us that we had placed items in front of the eye, which receives the signal from the remote. 🤭 Yes, we were spread out in the room. They were waiting for the city to inspect the pool, so the pool was not available for use. 🫤 the bed was comfortable, and we overslept the first morning, so we had to set alarms for the following days. We would have absolutely no issues with spending nights here if we are in the area again

Stop through stay on our way home from vacation. Wynona at the front desk is so sweet and thoughtful. Room was nicely updated and a great place to rest after a long drive. Grabbed fresh fruit and a coffee from the free grab and go breakfast on our way out.

Great spot for an easy stop. We booked this last minute on our cross country road trip. The owners checked us in and they were very friendly. The place was newly renovated and very clean. Great grab and go breakfast option for travellers. Marquette is a very nice town, right on the water, great place to walk around with lots of dining options.

We arrived at 1 in the morning and the owners were very accommodating and showed us to our room. Updated rooms were very nice. Would stay here again!

This hotel is an amazing place to stay. the room was very clean and everything worked perfectly, the owners are wonderful, friendly, and sweet, and its located in a very nice area. 10/10 this place is worth it.

I am originally from the UP and I have stayed here multiple times and the location is perfect, especially after a 12 hour drive. The owners are extremely friendly and attentive to the customers. The rooms are very clean and the heat and air conditioner is wonderful, I have not yet stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms. Most of my visits lately have been very spur of the moment and the owners are very accommodating and compassionate. I look forward to my next trip home and I will definitely be staying here! Had a great stay. Room was updated and clean, AC ran ice cold, staff was very kind, would stay again no hesitation.

The owner Upgraded our room to a Larger room at the same price due to us having our nephew with us and because she said she liked us. 😁 Had a few issues with the room that we let them know about.

I stay at this location for a week. The rooms aren’t the Marriott, but what kept me there was the ownership, they are very kind people. They were able to accommodate my particular needs regarding my budget and even made sure a had a desk n my room to work on. They made me feel welcome and at home while I was so far away from home. I greatly appreciate them and their hospitality, and if you are looking for a place with extended stay I’d definitely recommend there if your on a tight budget. And the location is also very convenient as well!
